This is great! To anyone wanting to make this and save wood, you can attach strips to the side of the drawers that run into the spaces between the side supports on the cabinets. Wax them, and they run beautifully. It's a lovely job and looks great with the leather pulls.
Just one thing, having a thinner bottom (10 mil?) would give you a little extra storage space and would be less expensive to do. Beautiful tho, for construction lumber. Might want to chamfer that table top edge a bit! Love the handles, you won't bump your knees on them!
@@larrybud thx for the input. I agree. We only used the same thickness for everything because of space issues in the tiny shop, and maybe a little because of poor planning 😊
Wow!!!! So much to love here!!! Love your design for the cabinets, saving so much wood by just using braces, I love the interchangeability of the drawers, the drawer bottoms as the slides and the leather handles. That all saves so much money. Great job. New subscriber. Looking forward to what’s next.
Hi, woodworkers!!! Especially you from the US.... LOOK. He is using TORX..... not Phillips screws. This makes a big difference. Start to use TORX....... Great build. I really love it. But I was looking for a build for my camper project. And your design is far to heavy. But I can steal some of your ideas.... thanks. Mojn fra Sønderborg.
The way he did it, however, wasn't exactly cheap. Essentially you needed double the plywood for each box to make the runners. Cheaper would be to cut dadoes into the sides instead. I did a very similar build, 3/4" sides, 1/4" wide dados about 5/16" deep. I used 1/4" drawer bottoms (obviously) which is plenty strong.
Well done! However, what I don’t like about this design is that it wastes a lot of plywood, not only on the sides, which basically double in thickness, but also on the drawer bottoms, which could use thinner and therefore cheaper plywood.
thank you the total height is only 75 cm (mostly because of window height. But also a practical height for the taller tabletop machines) drawer spacers are 10,3 cm
I love the idea of leather draw pulls!. I am a leather worker, also, and never thought of doing that!
WittWorks hardware-free cabinets are fantastic. But so is your work. Really well done. I’m impressed.
Great build. Thanks for sharing. Subscribed!
Really timely and well done build and video!!
Best cabinet video I've seen!
Going to use a reference for my kitchen cabinets.

Nice cabinets😎 And a thorough video💪
@@dimitrigogios8055 thank you 🙏
Exceptionally well thought through and executed, love the clean modular design and simple use of standard ply - I now have shop envy!

@@agreattinyspace Any special kind of leather for the handles? I think I might give that a go. Are they holding up well?
Quel travail de coupe! Bravo le rendu est superbe. Merci pour le partage.
Great idea
So cool! Nice style, color, technique 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💡
Nice to see the teamwork. Well done!
You nailed it mate..all this with hand tools and a small shop..nice

I go with the flat head screws myself. lol
VERY NICE!!!!! I too am going to use wood slides. The hardware is way too expensive for a garage build.

@larrybud very Cool. Ill give that a go. Thank you Sir
Dimensions or drawings for this? Love them. They have turned out great
@@tonyboreham8707 it was made from measurements and notes on paper that doesn’t exist any more unfortunately

Great job on the build, what was the dimensions of the cabinet as far as height and what was the height of the drawer spacers? Thanks!
thank you

drawer spacers are 10,3 cm
Is there a name for this style of cabinet construction that does not have a complete bottom panel
sorry I don't know. I just saw someone make incomplete back and top and thought why not save material on the bottom as well
Are you really tall? your counter height seems a bit short?
The countertop is only 75 cm high mostly because of window height. But also a practical height for the taller tabletop machines
