It was such a great move to have this play at the place where FF7 Remake ended (and therefore the credits and Hollow started playing). The subtle things Rebirth does with its music is on another level 👌
This hits harder after beating the game 😭

@@X1304ddon't start chapter 13 unless you are absolutely ready. It's tough and it's long. The longest chapter in the game for me and it's heavy.

i was so blown away when i reached this area and this song started.
prior to playing that night i was listening to hollow skies and hollow on repeat hoping this song would somehow make it into rebirth, and it did not disappoint
Already nostalgic for remake. This hit hard when I first got here. Had to put the headphones on for it.
6:27 played right as I started fighting enemies on the flower patches of Aerith’s side quest. I was so stunned I had to pause for a few seconds.

Im surprised this wasnt used more in the game ,Too good to be just tucked away beside Kalm.
We'll probably see more of it in the sequel. The original game has the gang returning to Midgar during that section, so I wouldn't be surprised if the Midgar region uses this song, whereas in Rebirth we only saw a very small portion of the Midgar Wasteland.

Now everyone knows why FFVII will always be the most dominant game genre in the whole history of video game. You just got a piece of WHY this game just cant be beat.

Thank you for watching as well. I will be making music videos for Cloud and Aerith after I finished the game. I am still stuck at Gongaga. That place is practically a maze. That chicken quest got me stuck for hours!
Most final world battle themes dont have this much attention. You could easily pass this off as one because of the motif, but its in the first freaking region and it sets the quality bar right away.
The editing choices to this theme is amazing my G. Well done🔥
When I heard this in game it was clear how amazing rebirth was. I knew I was playing a modern clasic in the making lol. Real shit.
This goes way to hard to just be a battle theme behing Kalm. We needed more.
My jaw dropped when this came on the first time.
I was always for Tifa in the og but after part 1 I fell for Aerith. I just resonate with her, a loner who tries so hard to make others happy. So I continued with her in rebirth and it's insane.
All the dates they have, the way she disarms him with her presence, everything about them.
Then I finished the game... As far as "strong female leads" go she's probably number 1 in gaming now. The mad feats she pulls off to keep Cloud safe is mind-boggling. I won't go into details but part 3 is going to be rough especially for Cloud. They've expanded on everything including their romance which by all intents and purposes, is established as canon now. Yes Tifa gets a lot of content but the main, unskippable stuff is thrown at the player.
No promises to keep is a direct reply to Hollow if you compare the lyrics too.

Really does sound like a great James Bond opening in the battle section, especially around I will will never let you go section instrumental.
Cant wait for the 3rd Remake. It is actually only FF game since 10 which feels as 100% FF game of golden age, not FF13-16 crap. Can't wait to buy some kind of Uber golden edition with all 3 games/DLCs. I will have 3 deluxe + one big deluxe I guess :D If the have Tifas figure I may also buy collectors edition :D :D :D

I hope, that in 3 part there will be a special theme for Aerith & Cloud (maybe with 2 vocals male and female) What do you guys think about it? What a fantastic love story! Remake and especially Rebirth show that their relationship is beyond timelines and worlds.
They might merge Hollow + NPTK! I dunno! Or create a brand new song! =) I sincerely hope they will!

@@Speechless84 it‘s not that much of a big deal. He‘s a legend and has delivered us great tunes in the past. It‘s time we let him rest. I have full faith in Hamauzu‘s and Suzuki‘s leading role for the soundtrack, as well as the other composers/arrangers. They‘ve all done such a good job so far
