Nice tank, all of them looks good, I am surprised that you put Istlanum cichlid in there, they look good also, however, I think they will bring a lot more aggression to your tank, I hope it all works out because you have a beautiful tank 🙂
Thanks Carl. They are going to be a problem once they put on a bit more size. I do plan to just keep a pair of the Istlanums by themselves when I get a pair I like.
It’s a beautiful Festa I do have a male the females seem harder to get hold of and the green terror they’re all beautiful. A nice mix of constant action ✌️
Thanks @oscardean6351, luckily mine turned out to be a female. A male will eventually outgrow my 125. Hopefully you find a female if you are looking for one.
@@YangXue4 Because you said He was the Dominant male in the tank. I have one and it grows so slow. But my Grammodes is definitely an Evil Cichlid, and a true Hunter. I have put so many other fish in the tank with him but killed them all. I put some giant Danios which is super fast fish with it, But my Grammodes could not kill it during daylight. So It waited until lights and took down each Danio one by one each night. Now He still alone. This fish is considered a baby brother of the Dovii because it does not get as big as a Dovii but same tenacity. Every fish I put in with him, he did not stop bullying each one until they were dead. as it grows it gets picky with food. Right now it is only taking live feeder fish because it wants to Hunt its food. Nice tank though, mine is only a 55 Gallon😞
@@fatherdaughteryoutubechann9559 your Grammodes sure sounds like a killer. And that rings true from what I've heard about them too. The Red Istlanums are known to be quite aggressive too. We'll just have to wait and see once they put on some more size. I don't feed live fishes because I don't want my cichlids to get used to it. Hopefully you can get your Grammodes to eat pellets and or frozen food if that's what you want. It's usually cheaper, less taxing on the water quality and arguably more nutritious too.
Your filtration is a great setup
Awesome Community Tank!! Fish look amazing!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks Mike.

How often do you change water with this stocking?
I do a water changes weekly 50-60%.
Where do you get your Cichlids at?
Hey where did you get the Istlanum cichlids? They seem to be sold out everywhere online
I got them from Matt, the cichlid dojo. If you like, I believe he still has a group from his last live video update.
What kind of cichlid is the orange with black vertical stripes and dorsal fin? So pretty.
Thanks Szu-Ping,
It's just a convict cichlid. It's likely that it has blood from various other Amatitlania family cichlids.
Are you hmong
I am, Rocky.
Is the Dominant Male a Grammodes Cichlid??
He's actually a Red Istlanums, I don't have own any Grammodes, but I can see the resemblance from pictures and videos that I've seen of them.

Also is that a big Electric Blue Carpintis Cichlid in there??

@@fatherdaughteryoutubechann9559 and yes, that's a Carpentis Cichlid I have there. He's not too big yet. I'd say he's about 7".
What kind do u have in ur tank?
Hey Billy,
I have a green terror, a Carpentis, an Argentea, 5 Red Istlanums, a red terror and two convict cichlids.
