It goes without saying, but please be safe if you decide to use tannerite. I know we didn't show our setup after the first uncontained tannerite shot, but we moved everything MUCH further away for the pumpkin shots and especially the torso shot. Using telephoto lenses and remote triggers for the cameras is how we're able to still get good images from such a far distance. We also used ballistic shields and barriers sent to us by other sponsors to ensure our safety.

Very much like to see that as well. Just found your channel, and subbed because of this video. But I (and many others) extensively watch the more scientific guntubers precisely to understand the effects of terminal ballistics on various mediums.
Because (A) it is fascinating, and (B) it dramatically and graphically illustrates the actual mechanics in play at the moment of impact. You guys are doing it right. This channel will grow...
And Taufledermaus's series on the Interceptor is phenomenal. Most certainly going to be purchasing some from the Ballistic Machinist, because by all appearances, that round is not hype, but rather the next likely evolution in bullet design. Numerous companies are moving towards monolthic lathed projectiles it seems.
Regardless, great work, great energy, great breakdowns. Keep it up...

Get the plastic 2ltr bottle blanks with the lids, they look like test tubes with threaded caps, but you should fill them with tannerite and then drill a hole in a log that's a snug fit for the tube. Do a couple with the grain and some against the grain to see the difference in variables.

y'all need to look into a telescope made by AstroTech called an "AT6RC". It is actually an _astrograph_ which produces a broad flat focal plane but being it's also a 6 inch diameter telescope it will gather a LOT of light and can be used from a good distance away from explosions. They cost about $600 delivered right now and have multiple threaded ring sections off the back so you can adjust and fit all sorts of cameras. It would MASSIVELY increase the light gathering capacity on most of your cameras.

Adam, I love your rifle's camo!
If I didn't know what to expect, I don't think I'd have spotted it as quickly as I did.

  • @mathewdavis-adventuresandd6643

Wow, that was very interesting. the frame per frame was incredible.

I like that your NOT dressed in battle gear, like your going out on a mission. Keeping it real. Hawaiian shirt and tank top. Love the slow mo and explosions. Nice.

the fast frame differencing part looks like it would work well as an asset for a sci-fi game, one where you have to use a special camera to see the enemies and it looks like that

Crazy fast detonations, especially seeing that the initial shockwave is even faster.
Really awesome how the light is visible through the pumpkin.

Thank you for this video. Had a dream once I was in charge of letting people through a checkpoint. Checking for obvious weapons, bags, stuff like that. Turns out some group sent people who physically ate the explosives and ever since then wondered how effective that would actually be.

Great video!! I think you should try and build something, off set it from the tannerite and try and launch it instead of destroying it.

My friend used to buy a salvage vehicle every year and have a shooting party at his house in the summer where we would all shoot on his range all day, then for the grand finale we would bury a bunch of tannerite under the vehicle and blow it up. The highlight was completely flipping a Ford escort, and tearing the frame in half on a Ford Explorer with about 20 lbs. We were all approx 300 yards away when we did this so everyone was safe, and he had a really large yard.

I showed my nephew how to make 1/2 lbs do real carnage. Dug out a trench in a hill just big enough for us to stuff that bottle in and dug a hole straight up and out for the blast direct and set basketballs on top for the projectile. But first we taped up the sides really tight with about 10 full wraps first. Yes it sent the ball so high we didn't see it until it was on its way down about 300 yards away. He changed his mind really fast of what he was going in the service for and went into my field of what I did in the military. And yes I do make my own personal boom powder that works better but that's just for me and my fun. Lol. God I love this sht. Blow it up scotty, we need more power. Lol
