It goes without saying, but please be safe if you decide to use tannerite. I know we didn't show our setup after the first uncontained tannerite shot, but we moved everything MUCH further away for the pumpkin shots and especially the torso shot. Using telephoto lenses and remote triggers for the cameras is how we're able to still get good images from such a far distance. We also used ballistic shields and barriers sent to us by other sponsors to ensure our safety.

@@BallisticHighSpeed Very much like to see that as well. Just found your channel, and subbed because of this video. I would like to see how black powder compares to tannerite in the same tests. It should have more of a tendency to throw material instead of tearing it apart since it has a lower velocity.

Ok, so now I need to see tannerite test tube log splitting.... First I wanna say, I genuinely appreciate you guys. I’m absolutely sure that this channel is a net loss financially and you guys are doing it for fun and I appreciate it. Second, please be safe with tannerite. It detonates fast enough to create lethal shrapnel, even out of wood and prosthetic bone. Tannerite is cool, wood splinters in your jugular are not
Another great video, thanks. I’d love to see you guys test the Underwood Xtreme Defenders on a ballistics dummy, especially that 2100fps .357 SIG round!
I want to see you test the 12 gauge explosive heavy hitter slug on a gel torso in ultra high speed as that's basically the most powerful explosive round that works without a heavy plate to set it off, and is extremely powerful and reasonably priced.
This was so much fun to watch. I just subscribed and am about to go down the rabbit hole to see what else you've done. I did not wake up today expecting this.
You guys deserve way more followers with the quality of your content. It would also be cool to see a slow-mo showing various common defensive loadouts (9mm/buckshot/5.56/.300AAC) through gel blocks in slow-mo, but edited together so you can see all the blocks arrayed vertically at the same time (if that makes sense). That way you can get an exact comparison of how different rounds perform. This would be pretty informative, and I've never seen this done before on RUclips.
How did I not know about this channel. Slo Mo Guys is great, but they don't do enough with ballistics. If you guys increase your uploads I would pretty much guarantee you'll be a YT hit. Great content. Please keep it coming!!

I recorded a short here showing the effect but having it in slow motion would be insanely cool. I’m not sure where you guys are, but if it doesn’t get cold enough, or you do not have access to a frozen pond, I can help if you guys wanted to come to Maine this winter and film it on private property.
