Voltes V is not a movie, it's a series mana 😁
MANA REPLACE JAMIE :3
You need to look into song Ikaw parin ... popular song in philipines during time Voltes V arrived... which is from Saigo No Iiwake by Hideaki.... song from Japan....
Voltes V is popular in the Philippines because the story teller is four the love of the child to their Dad.
Sorry but Japanese don't like their parents because when they are 18 years they work for their on. not like here in the Philippines. TnX
I like Voltes V. It is very warming to watch.
FYI. Voltes V was broadcasted in TV Asahi way back 1977. The following year, GMA 7 broadcasted the popular mecha series. During 80s, Voltes V repeated to broadcast in other tv stations but it didn't finish the series until the series completed to broadcast in 1999 by GMA 7. This year is 45th anniversary of broadcasting Voltes V in the Philippines. That will be a very high anticipated live action series and the world is waiting for that series. Many vloggers are happy and having their excellent remarks on Voltes V Legacy trailer.
You know about it a lot🥰 Thank you so much for letting me know 😊❤
What about DAIMOS, I think it is also very popular here in the Phils, just like Voltes 5
Just to add on why it didn't finish broadcasting in the 70s.. is the political aspect of it ... Especially the uprising scenes in the final episodes...
@@RedTitan5 yes. former president Ferdinand Marcos Sr. banned Voltes V because he thinks that audience imitates violence and rebellion. Also, Marcos was WW2 veteran.
Speaking of ban, I found a Japanese documentary from NHK called "In Search of Voltes V". ruclips.net/video/tv2v0iQiyzM/видео.html
@123JAPAN! mana-san, here is the crystal clear explanation about Voltes V craze in the Philippines in Japanese language. Can you translate for us?
If my memory serves me right, it was shown here in the Philippines in 1979 every Friday, 6pm and you couldn't find any kid on the street, because everybody was in their home watching Voltes V in a black and white TV screen. We also memorized the songs in Japanese and we were all excited to sing it whenever Voltes V is ready to attack the enemies.
Very true agreed and when we played with friends before we get one of the characters and pretend one of them and The last time we sing and attack the bad guys . So nice
No..May 5, 1978 it was aired in the Philippines. Then stopped by Marcos in March of 1979
I remebered playing pang ipit sa damit and I volt them in to create a robot figure 🤣🤣 I was born on 91 and voltes 5 is part of childhood too 🥰
Yes 1978 in the Philippines , then Marcos stopped...because the kids maybe they are not study their lesson ..only to watched voltes V

When I was a kid I watching voltes V . .I really like it every day I watch it. .
here is a link of the same trailer of Voltes Five with Japanese subtitle: ruclips.net/video/IPzQMAYoPBY/видео.html
These are the afternoon anime lineup in GMA 7 if I remember. Monday: Mekanda, Tuesday: Diamos, Wednesday: Mazinger Z, Thursday: Grendizer, Friday: Voltes V. Some action anime were also aired but not sure what channel they were played. These are Ultra 7, and Super Sentai (Star Rangers). And of course these super heroes all came from Japan translated in english.
Napaka superb yang trailer sobra ginawa yung homework and slowly naging wonders agad✨✨

It's 100% Filipino made live action adaptation of the anime Voltes V
Here in Cuba we grew up with that series 🥲, more than one generation, I am 28 by the way, back in the day we used to call it "chinese cartoons" 'cause wasn't known as anime yet, but it was, and is, very very famous for us and a distinctive part of our childhood, so yes, it's shocking that it isn't famous in japan 🥲
I think My parents generation know it and our generation don’t know about this anime 🥹🥹
Voltes V started in the Philippines in 1978 it's my era I'm 6 years old when it started in 1978-1980 it was stopped in 1980 because of numerous rumors surrounding it's end.
I'm so curious about Voltes V, definitely gonna watch it.❤
Voltez-5 was in fact a catalyst of Philippine People Power Revolution in 1986.
thats it!! we should all watch it all together with mana-san when this thing is released
Let’s go to a movie theater together 😍😍
@@123JAPAN It's not a movie it's series with 80 episodes. The original anime is only 40 episodes
Mana I’m so happy and proud and everyday mana
I would actually want to watch this once the japanese dub comes out to see how this show will turn out with Japanese voice actors.
VOLTES V is part of the SUPER ROBOT FRANCHISE thats why phils. love it so much
I love you my queen princess
Voltes V is part of my childhood 🥺
Voltes V is part of my childhood in the philippines, i was born in August 27, 1976, Ormoc City Philippines.
. Voltes V actually is not popular in Japan before until today.. most of Japanese friends aren't familiar with Voltes V till I mentioned it to them that it is really popular in Philippines
Now Showing in SM Cinemas started April 19-25, 2023 and will be airing in Philippine TV this May 8, 2023 in GMA
Well, Voltes V together with Daimos & Combattler V where part of an Anime Romance Trilogy at that time.
I love to watched Voltes 5 and power Ranger when I was young my God I think I’m elementary and it was showed every Saturday afternoon. I’m always looking forward every weekend. And at that time only few people had TV and I need to go to my grandparents to watched as we don’t have tv that time. I really love to watched this a lot and my childhood memories back . How simple life we had before and treasure the good memories we had. Love it❤
Correction! Voltes V was popular in the Philippines not just now, but Philippines was popular since 48 years ago since 1978... we grew up watching Voltes V. The theme song is like our National Anthem.
yes, mana 😁😁...I am in my 50s now & yes, Voltes V was very popular then❣️👍👌🥰...
I’ll ask my parents again 🥰🥰
@@123JAPAN
pls do 🥰...am sure they have good memory of the "Voltes V" years 😁👌👍❣️
Hello Mana! Try to hear the song of Voltes V in japanese, sing by our very own Unlimited Star of Universe, Julie Ann San Jose..
Used to watch Voltes V, Daimos, Macross, Astroboy, Shaider, Bioman, Dragon ball, etc
All i can say is i love Voltes V anime...and now that it has retelling from Filipino i am happy and eager to see all the action...wow galing!!!!
Voltes V natsukashii sugiru.
1970's in my elementary days one i was crazy about
one i never missed to watch.🥰
Voltes V was part of my childhood.. i can't believe it's not popular in Japan..
I understand why Mana is not familiar to Voltes V. This is because that Voltes V did not become famous in Japan. One of the main reasons why is that it was overshadowed by the popularity of Combattler V.
In addition to this, you don't need to study Filipino to watch this Live Action Series. Toei confirmed that a Japanese Dub for this Live Action Series will also be aired in Japan as well.
Also Mazinger Z or The Great Mazinger is most popular compared to Voltes V
Yeah! Voltes 5 is my childhood anime then!😁
so cool I like that kind of new video mana
Did you finish watching 😳?
No not yet
I WAS 12 YEARS OLD IN 1979 WHEN VOLTES V START IN THE PHILIPPINE TV

Thank you so much mana
, it started in 1977...i am in love with voltes v...
Its like time machine to all filipino.. watching voltes v
I love voltes v legacy is a new Filipino gma 7 channel
Everything about this movie truly Lin's in the fantasy world and American movies, isn't going to be so epic, when it comes to making a film about whatever. It's almost like we're scared to go full bloom epic fantasy, we're not, it's just we think small, for some American people, they're not very imaginative.
Solid mana san vlog stay safe always always watching from Jeddah Saudi Arabia.
❤❤❤
What got us amazed about Voltes V was that in 1978 the idea of five machines interlocking together to form a giant robot. It was totally ahead of its time back then. Then the weapons and the storyline definitely connected with us.
There was a boom of an anime genre called Super Robots in early 1970s wherein Toei and other animation studios produced Robot anime series in which the most notable is Mazinger Z made by Go Nagai. Voltes V has 2 other series (Combattler V and Tosho Daimos) under Tadao Nagahama called the Robot Romance Series due to it's theme. Though they were not interconnected within a same continuity unlike Mazinger and Getter Robot, it had prominent success overseas so that might be the reason it was not that popular within Japanese soil.
To add up, it was more of Tokusatsu than anime for the PH version. I am excited to see how it would be close to the original source material and what changes they would add up to the story.👌👌👌👌
Sana Dito kana lang sa pilipinas mana ❤️❤️❤️
I’ll upload many interesting vlogs in the Philippines 😍😍
Voltes v my favourite anime
Ganda talaga ng Voltez V Legacy galing ng pinoy 🇵🇭 the best 💗 salamat GMA Kapuso 💗
It surprises me seeing an anime film produced by the Philippines. I would expect Japan to make it.
The next thing you know, Brazil will make a Saint Seya movie.
Riot and GMA handled the CGI(all Filipino) and TOEI only supervised
i love voltes V , and i love you ... toinkx ^_^ hehe
As part of GenX those famous Anime here from Japan during those days were Voltes 5, Mazinger Z,
Star Rangers, Mask Rider Black, Magma Man, Astroboy, Doreimon, Dragon Ball and Yuyu Hakushu (Ghost Fighter) Hunter X Hunter......I missed my childhood!
Not just this anime is popular here in Philippines, I my self love the Inuyasha, dragon balls that I even save all episodes in a hard drive so my kids can watch it. Go go go Voltes V... Goosebumps, nostalgic, etc.... Way back 90's this anime is our family bonding time.❤❤
When I saw the Transformers movie Voltes V was the first thing that came to my mind. I wish that one day they’ll make one for Voltes V. It’s not Hollywood CGI but better than none.
Yup. When i was young, we grew up loving voltes V first before the other japanese animes came in.
Thank you appreciate voltes v.philippine original from Japan
hi! mana i was 12 years old in 1979 when voltes 5 started to watch in tv

Hello. Voltes V was first shown in the 70s. Followed by Mazinger Z and Daimos and lots of other animes but unfortunately it was banned by the govt. It was released again in the 80's and 90s this times the whole episodes were shown.
Thank you for letting me know! Do you also like it ?♥️
@@123JAPAN Yes!!! One of the reason Filipinos love it is because its full of action and drama and it has a simple clear story.
I used to have the toys, the sharp heavy metal ones. Such fond memories.
Great video....happy to see you back in you channel!
Yes I’m back😍😍 please be looking forward to upcoming videos ♥️
@@123JAPAN always....been a subscriber for a while now. Keep rockin!
Voltes V was our favorite cartoons, it was called cartoons back then and now its anime. We showed it to our cousin who is a Half Japanese - Half Filipino and he was also amazed that it was famous in Philippines. We also watch Watari the Ninja Boy very nice old show.
Arigato mana
Tacloban looks so cool
It's a live adaptation of voltes 5.
Voltes V (超電磁マシーン ボルテス V ファイブ ) was originated in Japan by Toeic Co back in 1977 and also shown in Philippines in late 1970s to early 1980s. Then it was reshown in the 1990s. You could verify with the japanese kids grew in 1980s like your parents.
Another popular aside Voltes V was Mazinger Z.
Hello mana your so pretty mana. Loveu mana
its a very popular Japanese anime way back in 70"s.
Crazy how I grew up watching Evangelion, Voltron, Voltez V, Power Rangers, and even Transformers
Youre much more beautiful Mama☺️☺️😍😍
Please Come back again in the Philippines ❤ Mana Chan.. 😊
Iam 41 years old and voltes V was my really favorite anime 😁
Borutesu Faibu was first seen on TV when I was in 2nd grader in 1978.
Voltes V theme is almost the National Anthem of the Philippines
Now I Know... Many of Japanese New Generation is who do not know or know Voltes V, but they were surprised when we made an adaptation of Voltes V, they themselves were surprised that they were the ones who made the original that was seen on television❤💜💛
For Me Voltes V is The One and The Most Greatest ROBOTICS of All Time ✨✨✨ PROMISE 👈
