It would have been nice to explain what side to remove the wheel well and collectors I think I'm a mechanic and I know because I have done similar job just being informational
Well, I was thinking the same thing however, it’s more clear that it would be the passenger side because that’s where the filler neck is, and you can see the rear door on the right of the screen and a part of the taillight on the left of the screen.

Anyone know where the fuel filter is!? Im thinking its in that black box attached to the fuel tank….i bended the clips to the box but it doesn’t budge its stuck!
Yeah mate I had that issue. I'll try make it clear as to how I put them back on. On the floor of the tank, feel around for 2 separate long moulded bumps. They are side by side of each other and are the only bumps you should feel on the floor. Now sit a baffle on one of the bumps. You should be able to tell which side of the baffle house over the bump and the shorter side goes towards the outside of the tank. Then all you do next is push down on the spring to reduce the height of the baffle and then manoeuvre it to sit between 2 smaller moulded grooves on the roof of the tank. Then repeat for the other baffle, again with the shorter end to the outside of the tank. Mine fit pretty snug and tight. I have read you could use a chemical resistant glue to ensure they stay put for good. Hope that helps and not too late.
Mine is currently at 213,000. This morning it stuttered and eventually had no engine feedback when pushing the gas pedal. Coasted to a stop on the side of the road pressed gas again after a minute and it picked up. I'm thinking it's a fuel pump but not certain.
@@lucasvbishop hey bro did you end up getting it replaced? Same thing happened to mine and I’m thinking that’s what it is. Also if you did what was the pricing?
I think I'm gonna have to pay for someone else to do this. Thank you Haynes.
Your car and your wallet buddy 👌 go out and make someone ele $300 dollars richer 😅😅
Yeah.. I’m going to have someone else do it. Lol
@@daniellegauna8514 ususally I ca n fix stuff on my cruze lol but this look axtra complicated
Toyota has had fuel pump access under the back seat for years....THANX GM
Vw ma dostęp od lat 80 lub jeszcze dalej 😂
I appreciate the video very helpful said screw it and just cut a whole under the seat 10x quicker lol
Could you send me a picture of how you did that?
Any pics or measurements where you cut the hole?

@everythingrc8772 Right 💯 Cut a square, then pry it open and the fuel pump is right there
What’s so hard about making an access port?
That would cost $0.10 Lord knows GM ain't got no ten cents!
Thank you very much will be doing this soon.
Good god...if they have to instruct you how to open the hood you probably shouldn't be attempting any repairs.
Thank you sir from jamaica

Where is the bleeder valve on a diesel cruze engine?
good morning friend I need to replace the gasoline pump of a Chevrolet Cruze year 2018 but I don't know if it is the same procedure in the video
All the in tank fuel pumps are similar.
Buenos días amigo necesito reemplazar la bomba de gasolina de un Chevrolet cruze año 2018, este video sirve para el vehículo gracias
Is this the same for a diesel engine?
Did anyone have code P0171 and replaced this and code was fixed ? Cause I already replaced so many things and that code is still there
Check valve?
I have that code right now, did you figure it out??
I replaced the valve cover for that code and the PCV in that valve cover was bad. Thanks to JESUS that it was that.
A proved fuel container=empty plastic coke bottle
Anyone have floating baffles in the tank?? How do you place these back properly?

Can this be done on jackstands without a vehicle lift? Does anyone know?
Obviously.
Hola , desde Chile, no se vio el cambio de la bomba DE combustible.
How many miles u guys getting from these pumps I'm at 80000 and mines went out today
Sorry to hear your fuel pump went out recently. It’s not uncommon for one to stop working at your car’s mileage, hope you found this video helpful.
Makes me feel better lol, thanks. I got to 120,000 and it's starting to sputter. Need to do this sooner than later.

Solo cambio de flotante. Que bien.
Is this a diesel?
Cut under the back seat to expose pump instead. Screw all this
Did you do this? I’m trying to figure out where to cut
@@joeyrossmiller12 yup . Cut a hole
Good work thank you
But where is fuel Filtre 🤔🤔??
Fuel filter is attached to the fuel pump, as it can be seen in this video. You have to do all this work to get to it. Unfortunately...
Is this the Diesel or gas engine I say it's diesel.
OK thanks
Yeap no question. GM really sucks
The Haynespro gives the wrong electrical diagram for the Chevrolet Cruze 2.0 diesel. South African model. Disappointing. Using the 14day trial.
Mazda just has you lift the back seat and the pump is right there! Why the heck would you design this crap!
This car is so bad you need to remove front bumper to take out the headlamp
Who told you that...??
