They are great little radios they are, always good for 4 Watts once adjusted, as long as you don't get the older pear drop mic they are imo the best value for money CB radio you can buy new, you might need to use an extension speaker if using mobile as the in built speaker is tiny, other than that they are superb.
Yes I tend to use my radio on my passenger seat when DXing on the local Welsh hills. My current favourite is one that has a front facing speaker, an Albrecht model. Ken.
I have to agree with you both on this. I have bought and sold many CB s over the last two years and compared all the audio transmit and the little t800 is a star performer. Loud and clear on FM and AM, just what you want. Thanks 👍
