  • On the beautiful island of Maderia we got visited by Lisas parents for a whole week.
    In this episode we're checking out the island, off road on a jeep tour.
    You will also follow us to a small Atlantic island, Savage Grande, which is located between Madeira and the Canaries. It was amazing and we also got the permit to come ashore.
    We hope you will enjoy it!

    It's a good thing there are few cars on those narrow roads on Maderia. That is a beautiful place, scary high in places and it makes me wonder if there are many land slides. Savage Grande is well named 'cause it seems to be an island built with rocks....never saw so many covering the ground. I covet your vessel.....thank you two for this adventure. I envy minds that can speak and write in more than one language.....

    Beautiful, thanks for sharing. Speaking of beautiful, you look just like your mom and your dad looks very comfortable at the helm. Is that why you have the passion to sail? Vikings blood. Thanks for sharing and fair winds!

    • @HilmaSailing
      @HilmaSailing  6 лет назад

      Thanks! Usually people say that I look like my dad, but I probably have similarities with both of them. :) The passion to sail came when I met Oskar, I think. But the passion for boat-, sea-, and fishing life comes from dad. Haha, vikings :) Thank you for watching! Kind regards, Lisa

    Madeira is the place that sparked my passion for sailing! Did you paint a flag onto the harbour wall at the marina?

    • @HilmaSailing
      @HilmaSailing  6 лет назад

      Oh sorry! We've missed this one! Madeira was beautiful!
      Sadly, we didn't do that. :( We talked about it several times but in the end we forgot. We hope we will find an other place where we can paint!

    First RUclips sailors to know anything about the birds you're filming. Congrats. A little more information about what the guide was telling you would have helped fill in the narration.

      Thanks ;) You mean in Savage? He was actually a guard and not a guide, so we were really glad he let us film! :) And at the tour with the jeep there were so much noice. Maybe and hopefully we will buy a mic in the future. Thank you for watching!
