Its funny when Joanne says you can never be sure to be back, the truth is that the TV series whilst pretending to be about the Granthams was actually about the lives of Anna and Bates and everyone else is really just side stories whereas the films focus more on the Granthams because the glamour of the upper classes carry a film better.

Barrow's last flame was getting married, and so his dark side re-merges. To the rescue, a smarmy creature played by Dominic West steps forward to save him with an adventurous, romantic proposition. Loved how the staff were summoned to play extras in a movie, squeezed into very tight 1930s nightlife finery. The blonde bombshell starlit totally stole the show. We learn that the Dowager's possible indiscretions have again resurfaced, leaving poor Donk distraught that he might be the bastard son of a Frenchman. Carson would never speak to him again!
