I havent see any soloist or idol covering this song. Well, i know why because it is so hard to sing this song. Even if you record you still need to belt the note really hard. This prove younha is still one of the best vocalist in the industry.
It's kinda frustrating how namjoon has been giving his all to bts' music through his writing and production along with jhope and yoongi, but whenever it comes to solo work, his work gets appreciated but not hyped enough. This is just so different to how ppl would treat the solo work of the maknaes, becoming amazed with only snippets or little contributions here and there. And the worst is that when someone says so, it gets written off as being rude or jealous of the maknaes when really it's the distinction in treatment one talks of. You could totally like someone's style of music more but those that just turn a blind eye to the work of hyungs is just mean and sad to see considering how ever after all these years their quality of writing and production has always been great and steadily improving.

This really is the superior collab, it's just sad that this wasn't the title track and wasn't promoted as hard as Eight was. You can really feel the emotion of Younha though her singing, and Namjoon's rap really made you feel the urgency of his emotion and his words. Winter Flower really is that song.

The difference between Younha and some soloist in the industry is that you can feel the emotion she conveys through her voice and performance. Even with her first debut song, Yubikiri, you can feel the emotion the story without even knowing the lyrics. She is such a special singer.
Younha's vocals are so hauntingly evocative. I came to this song through RM, but stayed and explored Younha's discography because of her voice. She is a staple in my playlist now. I hope she gets more recognition.

It's kinda frustrating how namjoon has been giving his all to bts' music through his writing and production along with jhope and yoongi, but whenever it comes to solo work, his work gets appreciated but not hyped enough. This is just so different to how ppl would treat the solo work of the maknaes, becoming amazed with only snippets or little contributions here and there. And the worst is that when someone says so, it gets written off as being rude or jealous of the maknaes when really it's the distinction in treatment one talks of.
You could totally like someone's style of music more but those that just turn a blind eye to the work of hyungs is just mean and sad to see considering how ever after all these years their quality of writing and production has always been great and steadily improving.
