This is a Street Legal Stock Car Tribute. That doesn’t make it a fake. And as for wether it’s a build or not… it’s not stock so it has been modified to suit the owner.
Well, you obviously don’t follow my Instagram to see all the motor work, trans work, rear end, interior we’ve done and for how long you’ve been commenting on these posts it sure looks like you’re jealous and obsessed so god bless.
The car is SO gorgeous, awesome Ray Ray! Your Dad will truly enjoy retirement, good for him (keep bail money handy in case he has to teach someone a lesson)!
Love Monte Carlo :) I had a 1978 Monte Carlo from Al Unser Jr. Chevrolet. Had the upgraded suspension package, wide rally rims, and a 305. But it looked like a stock Monte Carlo car, not a Monte Carlo stock car. :) Congrats to your dad! :)
that's awesome, I'd love to take a 70's Monte Carlo and turn it into a nascar tribute car! I'm sure there will be plenty more videos with the 'Dale car'
A 350 might drop pretty easily. Maybe mounts but you will need heavier springs. At least. My cousin bought my cutless. Pulled the six and had to change them. Still roadwalked a little. Just sayn start there
@@rayray3866 im still using minivans but when i was in my 20's i took a 65 Buick 2dr hardtop and built a 455 2x4 motor hooked to a turbo 400, 4000 rpm stahl convertor. It would be nice to find something like that.
Instead of the super t-10 4 speed or the 700R4pop a 5 speed T5 in it and if you can find one key word being if get a RPO G92 rear axle out of an 88-90 1LE IROCZ or if you cant find one, grab there rear axle from a 9C1 Highway Patrol edition Z28. that would give you a fun axle ratio and still be a good highway cruiser plus it would have rear disc brakes. great looking car btw but that is the way i would go if were mine...
Whats up. Update on dads car please. Probly late but i hope my advise helped. Aftermarket suspension not cheap. But was my best of what i knew. We didnt have the options of today. Uuuuuuuuuuupdaaaaaaaaate
@@cole-trickle50 Can you please link them to me or give me their info? I have an aerocoupe i just bought, so i am just wondering where i can do this or who i can buy the decals off of.
I'm not sure what their called but on tge spoiler back in the day they also had small bars that was attacked also. The side mirrors are also on the inside of the car. I have a helmet w/ fake mic ( Replica) that Dale would've wore for raceing back then with the open face. You can also find the fire suits for a decent price online. Yes you can drop a bigger motor in it. Contact me on ig under Dawgg865.
Actually man if you just take the plastic pannels off and leave the inner doors bare that's how a stockcar looks even my legit 1980s montel Carlo body has the exact stampings from GM on the door pannels and floor board is a stock 80s metric car floor pan just gut the interior and that's it
@@rayray3866 next time we hang out we'll have to talk about this I think that's 350 or a 383 stroker would be great in that car especially if you put flowmasters on it it would sound like an actual race car and I'm sure you and your dad would love it

Awesome, been looking at a few different options. Seen some people LS swap
Oh. And dale forever
Please join the Monte Carlo Nation Facebook group! We would love to see it!
Will do! Thanks
You could take it to Dale junior's nascar shop if you haven't met Dale junior yet
That’s our plan in the future! Can’t wait to drive it to NC
I wish I knew where he got those decals

with the 4.3 v6 a 350 will drop right in
Hopefully we can get the ball rolling this winter!
And of course you can drop a V8 right into a monster Carlo and mount that borg warner right in easily with no mods it drops right in
I love you on heart junior

Why not go real hood pins? Go all the way.
Pretty sure I mention it in the video but this is my dad’s car. He didn’t want to drill any holes into the hood or trunk.
