it was 5 dollars per person on CCL so 20 bucks total for the family of 4. it was handy bc we had 2 young adults and we all did our own thing and it was nice to check in.
Enjoyed the video Kevin. A lot of great info here. But, the best part was when you got to the part of not being tech savvy! 🤣🤣We're old. We do have a smart phone, (2 actually) but we just don't know how to use them. We have an old one, incapable of doing many of these things. That's the one we mainly use and pay for service on. On this though, we can't even scan on of those code things. Because we film entirely on our phone, we did upgrade to a new one last year. Paid way to much for it, but the picture quality is much better. I think this phone would do all of these things, but we don't pay for service on it. Just use it to film and upload our videos to our storage to save them. We'd need one of those stations your referring to at the end. We can handle that! That's how we order our McDonalds when we eat inside! 😁😁

Hi Kev. The NCL app like a lot of them is frustrating to navigate. You should be able to see everything and the cost. You should not have to pay extra for a message. Don't know of any other's that charge you. As always thank you for the information and all you do for us. ❤
You can sell those cruise next certificates so if you buy 4 and get $500 OBC and use it on that cruise you can get your $750 back if you sell them and have 1 left to use within 4 years.
How come the dinner was reservations are only for even amount of people? They will charge you for the extra ghost person if you make a reservation for four and you supposedly can change to an odd number of people while on board.
That's the number that the tables are set for. I'd maybe just book say a table of 6 if there were 5 of you, or 4 if there were 3 of you etc .Maybe double check onboard though at the restaurant and see what they say

Yes Carnival charges $5 pp for onboard messaging, but their APP possibilities are way ahead of NCL based on what you shared.

The app should have a search function that brings you to the level where the place is with the place highlighted. Maybe even like a GPS path to it!

Can you save the Freestyle Daily to your phone each day so that you can look back over them when you get home?
