Hey Brianna :) You don't need much money to create awesome looks. You can buy the most stuff online and cheap. Some things may a little bit more expensive but they are worth it . (like the liquid latex. I bought a 1000ml bottle and i use ist a lot ). You can even create awsome looks with just some paint and a paintbrush. :) Maybe your Parents willl buy you some stuff for your birthday or christmas. Hope you have a lot of fun in the future with creating fx looks. (sorry for my bad english)

For the red string it could be red yarn that was pulled apart or its twine if its stiff. My favorite technique for veins!
The makeup, while good, turned more simian(ape-like). It was mainly the cheek bones and the nostrils that did it. I find that many sfx zombie makeups end up more ape-like.

Awesome job, I love the mouth piece idea! I actually did one of your zombie looks for a halloween contest at my work last year and the piece I made, practically made eating and drinking impossible (I really didnt think that part through to be honest). I will definitely take this look into consideration next halloween. I love your work!

I believe it's red dyed abaca (Manila hemp) fibers from a species of the banana plant native to the Philippines. But in our shop we just call it Manila hemp.

That stuff looks like the plastic mesh bags oranges are sold in.... I'd call it mesh or netting. Love the tutorial, especially the crazy direction the jaw is hanging in!

Depends if you school lets you cover your face fully. I know my middle had a problem with me painting my face for spirit days.
I covered my face last year and there were kids with masks, but their biggest problem might be that it's a family thing and there'll be 4 year olds around 😂

That was a great session! The only thing I would also try is substituting the black contact lenses with an opaque white or smoke colored lens. Maybe to give that soul-less look.
