Tom - "Withouth many closes" Bill - "Without many clothes" XD Bill is so happy that he managed to correct his brother, he even did a little head movement to prove it...lol
That happens to me with Spanish lol I am Italian American (born and raised and a citizen in jersey) but because I am not a latina sometimes I have trouble pronouncing certain Spanish words but they always know what I mean
English is my first language but I know how hard it is, especially from German to English. I have a lot of foreign friends who still have accents and maybe miss a couple words. I think it's cute ❤
lmao this is so cute best part is 1:27-1:28 where Tom says he looks beautiful in anything and Bill looks at the camera like he wants to say something but doesn't
First of all, their English is American English so when its supposed to be a U its pronounced like an A. And second of all, Its hard to go from German to English and the afterwards not have a German accent
Did you notice when he was trying to say position at 1:42 that Bill was mouthing the word too, like he was trying to help him sound it out? It's so cute
Unless your German is better than his English, I'd cut the guy some slack. To a German, "clothes" is a tricky word to say if you have seen it written down but haven't heard it. If you wanted to write it phonetically using German (or pre-Norman English) rules of spelling and pronunciation, it would be more like "cloeths" (ignoring the fact that the "t" and the "h" together make a sound which doesn't occur in German at all). Moving the "e" to after the consonant was trendy in Dr Johnson's day and has become entrenched in modern English, even though it makes no logical sense. In German, if a word has a consonant followed by an "e", you pronounce both the consonant and then the "e", in the order they're written (e.g. "pflaume"). If you want to use an "e" to change the way another vowel is pronounced, you would put the "e" immediately after the relevant vowel (although by convention, in this case the "e" is usually omitted and an umlaut is placed over the vowel instead (e.g. hoeren becomes hören)).
Ommo... que lindos.. Vi tantas veces los videos y jamás me percaté de los ERRORES que tenían.. Jajajaja.. y George... su inglés es perfecto... toma esa Tom!!! XDDD
I hope you know half of that was their accent not the word. Like funny and London, they just say it differently like someone from the north would say crik or yous and southerners would say y'all or creek. It's just regional.
90 % of all germans speak english, but only 5% of all english-speaking people do also know how to speak german. they do make mistakes, but you guys are not in the position to make fun of their english considering you don't even understand a single word of their motherlanguage. that's pathetic.
I kinda noticed the first time I watched the interview that he said "he DON'T want to be funny" and I was like, wtf, man it's doesn't x) but whatever, I love this video, I love Tom with his sexy accent and his "Tomglesh" ahaha xD
Do you ever plan on making one about Bill? Because I haven't heard any 'willage' or 'wampire' in here, and those are his best really. ;) But I love everything that's in here. Although I feel I have to stand up for them, not being a native speaker myself: Sometimes you REALLY want to say something in a certain way, you know how it SHOULD come out... and yet somehow it just doesn't. ;) Like your mouth just won't produce the sound you want to make... But very funny video nonetheless. :)
I think I remember them saying that they were both terrible at learning English, but Tom was the worst. Cute video lol their English has come a long way though, back wen they released their first English-language album they couldnt even speak it really.
It's not until watching older videos back that I've realised how much they've developed over the past decade - it must have been so difficult at first not being able to access the main language being spoken, yet now you'd never know any difference in their recent interviews!
Oh there are differences between english and school english? Please, tell me more because I'm studying english too and I wanna know if there really are differences :) Thanks
I love how Bill corrects Toms grammar, he's all like "Nah bitch you aint sayin it right."
😂
Tom: "I look beautiful anyway."
- silence -
cindeeeeh Jajajaja i know hahahaha
it’s a fact :D
only the truth
😅😅😅
Tom - "Withouth many closes"
Bill - "Without many clothes"
XD Bill is so happy that he managed to correct his brother, he even did a little head movement to prove it...lol
We love tom
Tom: Without many Clothses
Bill: Without any Clothes.
Impressive BillXD
His bad English is so cute. I love the "closes" thing.
And look at the way Bill just looks at the camera at 1:28. Hahaha, I love it xD
They were still learning English, so what do you expect ? It's difficult to learn another language you don't understand
"I can wear you know, everything. So.. I look beautiful anyway".......awkward silence, hahaha so funny
Honestly, Georg and Gustav speak better English than Bill and Tom. Georg barely has an accent.
Fds lkkkkkkkkkk
FR
Yeah but Gustavo’s English is not yellow from the egg😭(if yk yk)
Gustav*
Gustavos help 😭😭😭@@Alessandria3
1:28 when Bill looks at the camera I just die!!!!
He' soooo cute!
same
"Funny" is pronounced correctly.
Come on, it's funny. I'm German and I see nothing wrong with this video. We also laugh about English people who try to speak German ;)
That happens to me with Spanish lol I am Italian American (born and raised and a citizen in jersey) but because I am not a latina sometimes I have trouble pronouncing certain Spanish words but they always know what I mean
Their accent is cute 😭 love them smmm
Native speakers of English don't even know how hard it is!
English is my first language but I know how hard it is, especially from German to English. I have a lot of foreign friends who still have accents and maybe miss a couple words. I think it's cute ❤
yes, but again, not his first language, i'm always impressed by people who can speak other languages fluently, and he's doing a very good job
“I look beautiful anyway”
**PROUDEST SMIRK EVER WHILE EVERYONE ELSE LOOKS AT THE CAMERA WITH A LOOK OF ANNOYANCE**
I like when he said : " I look beautiful anyway" :DD
lol its funny how bill can say clothes and yet his twin brother is still stuck with clotheses. awww love you tom
It's hard to go from German to English.
Yeah, because they never really learned it. xD But I'm German, so I understand them anyway- since I know what they actually mean.
Now they speak English really good
German is the closest language to English. As an english speaking person, I've always heard that the easiest language to learn is German.
@@kellygurl5 I agree with you :)
Bill: look at him he looks funny
Bill:💂
He speaks nicely, I hear natives making mistakes like "we was". And to pronounce 'landan' is correct.
lmao this is so cute best part is 1:27-1:28 where Tom says he looks beautiful in anything and Bill looks at the camera like he wants to say something but doesn't
"I dont are" i
IM DYING 😭😭😭😭😭
They are saying a lot of the words like "funny" or "London" correct. Just with an accent. They are saying the words how they are supposed to be said
1:27 THE SILENCE WAS TOO LOUD
0:49 "he looks funny 💂💂💂💂💂💂💂"
the fact that most tokio hotel fans then are literally us now
gustav is so cute oml
Well, they try. Thats great.
His accent is sooo cute 💕 I love him smmmmmmm
First of all, their English is American English so when its supposed to be a U its pronounced like an A. And second of all, Its hard to go from German to English and the afterwards not have a German accent
I Love Tom's English :D
i love tom's everything lol
Bill's english is better than the others
I have been learning german for eight years and I have to say something. His english is way better then my german :/
Did you notice when he was trying to say position at 1:42 that Bill was mouthing the word too, like he was trying to help him sound it out? It's so cute
i mean look at him, he looks funny💂♀️💂♀️💂♀️
I love how Gustav chokes when he laughs

Whenever I see the word position now all I can imagine is Tom saying it like that.
THANKS A LOT.
I hope you know half of that was their accent not the word. Like funny and London, they just say it differently like someone from the north would say crik or yous and southerners would say y'all or creek. It's just regional.
0:10 Georg's face ...
Most of this is just the accent. They’re still fluent lol. Also, grammar wise, german & english have different grammatical structures.
"fanny things" BYE

"With your cheese.." AHAHAHAHA
2:07 the Bill's laugh remeber me, when in Devilish Interview Tom says "It's My Life" and Bill laugh, awww :'D
