as a former aspiring bassist myself, i have to agree with you about Ale's playing.
the thing i find so interesting about it is that (were i still playing) the lines are busy enough to keep you from getting bored and complex enough to make you feel like a badass, but accessible enough to allow you to want to try to learn it.
by contrast, 2 bassists who were always at opposite ends of the spectrum for me were Ian Hill and John Myung. i'd practically fall asleep trying to follow along with Priest tabs, and DT tabs would make me cry and want to quit altogether 🤣
(oddly enough, Steve Harris ended up being way more accessible for me than it should have ... my right-hand instincts just fell right in line with Steve's style)
what i really like about this album is that you can hear them realize that they're growing up, and can feel them framing out an ethos for themselves with each song. and what's really cool is that you can feel that ethos echo through each successive album as they refine it to more detail.

The bassist Ale was probably 11 when they recorded this album. Such a prodigy.

Fantastic song (as every one of their songs is). Their 4th album is out now which is why your numbers might be down. There is SO much The Warning content on RUclips at the moment there’s not enough hours in the day to watch it all 😂. A 60-track catalog now & there’s not one I’ve ever pressed skip on.
& yes, Ale is a legendary bass player…at 19 now, 11-12 when recording this one.
P.S. there’s another amazing young bassist you need to check out: Aria, 15, from Freeze the Fall. Try ‘Broken Glass’ their latest single off their forthcoming debut EP.
