The performance that this track is overlaid on top of is actually the best version to listen to. The emotion she manages to conjure during that performance is legendary regardless of age group. But then, throw in that Pau specifically is fif-fucking-teen and you start to understand why TWA are so hardcore about DPA and TW.
The Dakota Bar performance of this is chillingly good. Pau just pours out the passion while Dany and Ale provide understated and impeccable support. That 13 year old genius wrote one of the best and rawest songs about addiction I’ve ever heard.
This song is soooooo good. How could a 14- or 15-year-old (not sure) have come up with this, much less performed it so passionately? Brings me to tears every time I hear it. Dakota Bar and Pepsi Center (with orchestra) performances are also definitely worth a look.
These are children, freaking children writing these lyrics. These songs that they have written and performed is such a huge draw for so many of us. They really are such a special group of beautiful young women that really make some of us older guys (and gals) beam with pride as they have progressed in in their career. I’ve only been following them for almost 3 years and I feel like a proud uncle. I’m sure there are so many people that have subscribed to your channel that have been following these girls since the very beginning and watch the natural progression that are even more than I could possibly try to be. Thank you for checking out some of the older stuff from these young ladies so you might also appreciate the progression. Brother, I believe The Warning are going to be a stadium band very soon and I’m so grateful to be alone for the ride. Peace. ✌️
Hey Hurm1t! I've said it before, and I'll say it again, The Warning are the best songwriters of their generation! We are all watching the birth of Legends! And yes, Live is their Superpower!
And I highly suggest you watch this live performance that you’re singing in the background of this lyric video. There’s more emotion than that then you will feel in this lyric video.
As good as the studio recording is, the live at Dakota Bar makes me tear up every time.
Yes, this is about addiction. Paulina wrote this at age 13!
and performing it at 15!
@@rgbenge7580 The Dakota Bar performance is one of my favorite of their performance videos.

Reminds me of good friends who have passed on. Thanks. ❤✌🤘⚡🔥
Dany brings the rock. Pau brings the emotion.

The tone of this song reminds me of another song of theirs that you haven't got to yet.
Which one?
BRO, ES MOMENTO DE QUE VAYAS A VER LOS VIDEOS EN EL TEATRO METROPOLITAN DE LA CIUDAD DE MEXICO.

Pau’s response to the overdose death of a friend of the family
No it's not. Pau simply read an article about alcoholism and drug addiction, some of which was directly based on an actual person's experience.
🤘🤘🤘😢
