Its hard to build because they are hard to find and expensive but buffalo did something great. They got a top 3 oline coach and got high ras scores and let cromer develop them.

Although not foolproof (Matt Milano had an RAS of 6.2ish), the RAS scores are usually pretty telling (they also called Milano "explosive," and his small size definitely negatively impacted his score). After this year's draft, I made a list of the highest RAS score players on our roster. I ended up with well over half of the team above 8.0/10. The number of high 8's and 9's on our roster is insane. A lot of our lineman are on that high end. No wonder we are dominating so damn thoroughly. McD and Beane put together a team of pure athletes, with good character, good football IQ, and an excellent scheme, with some great coaches like Brady, Babich, and Kromer, ....and just look at the result. Love it.
I think they go hand-in-hand. A good QB can't really reach elite status without a good O-Line. I mean look at Caleb Williams. I think people are putting way too much blame on him, calling him a bust when his OL is absolute trash. He was the unanimous #1 pick but Daniels is outplaying him but I think the reason is because the Commanders OL is good and Chicago's is horrible .
Mack was a terrific replacement for Gabe. He is an excellent utility player (like Gabe), and has a bit more receiving potential (I hate to say, lol). Think we got him cheaper too. Beane is kinda like King Midas, lol
Dude is freakin ripped too 😂 Underrated. The problem for teams playing against Buffalo is the fact that you don't know who to guard or who's getting the ball. Spin the wheel 😂

I will continue to stand by my statement that the Hollins/Samuel signing was quietly a monumental move by Beane. We went from a completely depleted receiving corps (basically Shakir by himself), ...to one that finally has the blend of (size/speed/athleticism) that we have been sorely needing to maximize Josh's potential. Now Josh can sit back, play point guard, and distribute the ball to whoever has the best leverage thanks to Joe Brady. Winning formula, right there. I almost feel bad for the other teams, ...almost.
The funny part is you can tell the opposition what we’re going to run but it’s still hard to stop when there’s ten guys on the roster you have to worry about as potential weapons

He’ll insert them during garbage time so they’ll get in-game reps, & when it’s time to actually start? They’re prepared & ready to go. If you remember with Shakir, he barely played the first 5 games his rookie year. Then around mid season he made a few catches. Then he would disappear for 1-2 games, then pop up again- making 1-2 big catches to move the chains. That’s when fans started calling for him to get involved more. He finished with 10 catches his rookie year. That’s what I mean by bringing them on slowly.
In other words, he completely wasted Khalil’s first two seasons! He was more than capable of coming right in and producing. I’ve known him personally since he was in middle school. They completely mishandled him. All he ever does is make plays. It took Joe Brady coming in and Diggs leaving to finally start getting him the ball. Now everyone is seeing what many of us already knew…the dude is a stud.
