- Professor Benjamin Reilly, a non-resident senior fellow at the United States Studies Centre, said the attack on Donald Trump on Saturday (Jul 13) has "certainly improved his prospects" ahead of the US presidential election in November.
Trump was shot in the ear during a campaign rally, prompting his security agents to swarm him, before he emerged and pumped his fist in the air.

He was already leading even without this assassination attempt on him and beside he already have experience as a president before. Thank God he survived but condolences to the victims in the crowd though. Whether you like or dislike a person it is too far to take this to such an extent. The killer made his choice and pay for it with his life. And he have directly help Donald Trump to secured even more support and loyalty instead. Trump is old but not as feeble as Biden. That America spirit and resiliency he show when he climb back up are very American and a lot of people like that fire and strength in life.
But ultimately the presidential show is a an illusion of choice. Power doesn't rest with the president no matter who you choose. It lie with the teams behind the candidates as well as the shadow government who have been in power over the world for a very long time already.
Trump was also leading up to the previous election, but he lost, didn't he? This probably is the defining moment that put it in the bag for him this year

Certainly, his vote count will increase tremendously from this very sensational international news vs President Joe Biden's, whose weakening mental acuity and frail disposition since taking office place him at a serious danger to the security of the USA as a country of greatest military might, governing as the world's 'policeman'.
