I'm back with another Drawfee animation! Thank you so much to everyone who watched "Jacob Expains VTubers" ( • Jacob Explains VTubers... ) and all the comments that welcomed me so warmly into the community! There is a huuuge thread of people's favourite Drawfee clips and moments, so I've got a lovely library to go through whenever I've got time to!

Hell, Jacob, even I figured Photoshop pen tool out, completely on my own, when I was TWELVE! Like, HOW?! Why in the world did you need to ask Julia?
Julia's persistence is mesmerising, but it wouldn't feel the same without the sheer gap between her and the boys 🙃 (who are great at their thing, but seem somewhat small in comparison)

As someone who also learned to use blender, it's actually really, truly, not actually that bad. It is deep though.
As soon as you get past the default cube there's no stopping you

Representing the reveal as them walking into a room was perfect. Nathan's confused sounds are such a mood
The fact the room was made using blender is even more incredible. Adds yet another dimension to an already great bit.

Fun fact: this was the first thing i watched from drawfee. I immediately learned to fear Julia.
Ironically, that episode was also my first foray into Drawfee. A friend reintroduced me to Drawfee and I immediately went through the "Did I dream about this, or was it real?!" phase
Learning to fear Julia is one of the earliest and most important lessons in life
While I've been watching Drawfee since at least the episode with "Weed-le", this was my first video to introduce myself back to Drawfee after a _long_ break.
For me it was their first Pokemon from memory, but I ended up with the same lesson.

I love how this animation implies that Julia didn't take shortcuts on the creation process, no... Her ideal shortcut is to literally break the time-space continuum so she could actually spend the 20 hours she needed to do it right.

Oh my god, Karina's transition from giggling to frowning (leading into "Julia... is this BLENDER?") is absolutely perfect. Frickin' flawless. Well done, DBI, well done.

One of the tabs (when she's googling) says "What is a rectangle?" and I think that's beautiful. What a reference. Ino that's a short bit but maybe you can do that one too. Nathan's reaction is so good and Julia's 'my god' has lived in my head rent-free since. You're doing God's work.

The visual set up of blender being a separate room is genius and really effective!!! I was beyond excited when I got this video notification!
The shift in Karina's expression as she laughed and than said "Julia, is this blender?!" is just gold. I love it.
Karina's chuckle before the vid loads followed by a brief pause, broken immediately by "Julia is this _blender_ " will always be my favorite damn thing on this planet.
This is the actual reason I started using blender
If I had the ability to run blender I would have done it after the video too 😅 it looked like so much fun to learn and the end product *chef's kiss* (I mean who are we kidding, it's Julia, the finished drawing is always superb)

Okay so it both seems like a stroke of genius and really obvious: I LOVED that you emphasized the 2-D-ness of the characters at the Blender reveal.
“My background… is the color green” I love this line I’ve seen the og so many times but it still gets me. You capture the energy and personality so well in these simple characters. ALSO BLENDER? I thought it was just going to joke around with blender and actually blender would not be used but wow.
I love when they go in the blender room and just hand first peek around for a second it’s amazing. It’s so inspiring to watch the animations.

I think my favorite bit is watching Karina's face as she goes from laughing to realizing something's not right with the room.

My favorite detail is the drawfee mug laptop glowy thing. It adds so much in the dark googling part

I’m excited for this. Love Drawfee. I’ve never really animated stuff before and was thinking I’d like to try to make some fun animations like you make. I use an iPad with Procreate when I draw but don’t know what I’d animate with yet. But maybe that’s something I’ll do eventually, probably using a different RUclips account. This channel and others like it bring a lot of joy when I see their animations of these fun moments

karina's vocal plot twist as she says "bLENDER?" is one of drawfee's Most Thing
You know I think this is the only animation Julia has looked disheveled in, or even only half-sheveled. The Deep One, the room being entirely on fire, the Merobiba Incident, none of it ever touches her.
My current working theory is that only the medium itself can affect Julia. She's too powerful.

Why is this so good? Been rewatching the Julia The Plumber video since it popped up in my recommendations and now this… the way you transitioned to a room actually built with blender. You just changed how animation is made!!
This is a such a fantastic animation, I love all the portions of Julia's narration you animated as separate scenes, like her looking up how the show was made. The characters are so expressive too :D
Learning blender to make a joke about learning blender... A golden rule of mine is it's never too far to go for a joke, respect.

FWIW, I've once or twice used the Blender fork BforArtists because the default interface more closely resembles Photoshop's default workspace. I'd personally prefer Maya myself, but I'm like more than ten years out of practice. Regardless, this will always be a great Drawfee bit, and thank you, DeepBlueInk, for taking the time and effort to animate it and share it with us. :)

I just am in love with the way you animate expressions! It may be simplistic, the eyes may just be lil' black ovals, but you do them so expressive! I'm most in love with the eye-wiggles when a character is wary or thinking. It's just so good and I love it so much!
