I find it's too easy to drop off with journals when you have to do them monthly - I started a book journal a few years back where the goal was to record what books I read/listened to on audible and do a cover page for each month. For some reason (which I can't remember now), I stopped recording things in it, and I even misplaced it. I know where it is now, but too much time as passed since I stopped recording stuff in it and I don't know if I should start putting stuff in it again. If it's a journal that doesn't need me to be working in it all the time in a 'real time' fashion, then I can start up again once I feel like it. It's weird and you don't know when a distraction will come or when something will disrupt you from working on something again...
