It's so wonderfull to see how many options of yarn/wool you have in the US. Here in Argentina we're very limited and we don't have even half of the yarns you talk about or show in your videos. I really enjoy learning about all of the different yarns you can find there!

Silk is such a wonderful fabric! The brand you mention has pretty good to excellent marketing tactics, keeping the eye away from the humanity aspect of induced labor. (somewhere in their about page they say that a tour of the mill is not allowed.)
They promote practices that have been in practice for centuries as though they were the originators of the practices.
Couple examples of this are Golden silk - which is from wild Cambodian silk worms and cannot be grown outside of a wild environment
No silk manu sprays chemicals on their Mulberry trees as this would kill the tree and or the growing worms.
Consider the manufacturers country and state of environ practices in that country.
Silk is fantastic!!! Really! But remember that you are buying silk from a country that is spinning a beautiful tale to get you to purchase. Just saying.
    Love your show!

Hi Bella, thanks to you I finally got in on Nutiden yarn buy. I went kind of crazy and bought some of all of the February collection. I also tried Langton and Rodnard. It is lovely. I also loved one strand of SKYMT (brown) and one strand of Langton (pink). I love the vest you are wearing. One last thing, I am a spinner also and I have run my plied yarn back through my wheel in the opposite direct to remove some of the extra twist. I have also run my under plied yarns through and added twist. I am also in Nor Cal probably an hour north of you. Happy spinning and knitting. I look forward to your podcasts.

Hello Bella! I just love your style and the work you create. Every piece has such a special touch to it. In your Q and A I would love to know as I am a beginner knitter, your history on how you learned and what your inspirations are. One other question I have, since I need to research mosaic and provisional after this episode, is that an i cord cast on , on your cowl? I would like to research that technique as well. Again, I just love your work and look forward each week to seeing your new creations! Be well.

Elizabeth Zimmerman's book: Knitting Without Tears (1971) has several mitten patterns that are fairly easy to make. I've made several pairs so far. I used yarn from Jamieson & Smith from Lerwick in the Shetland Isles.

I hadn’t kept up with you for a while and cant imagine all that I have missed. I love your designs and explanations. I have one request. It would be lovely to know what the wpi and weight, exp. Fingering, dk, etc. your spun yarn is. As a spinner, i would like that. I think most of the yarn that you have shown so far have been 2 ply.
Your short video or your long draw looked like you were doing a great job. I love woolen, long draw spun yarn.

I love love love your podcast, I recently discovered you and binged all episodes in a couple of weeks!! Really have been enjoying having you 'with me' while I work on my WIPs. I was trying to decide on a cable slipover and boom in the next episode you were talking about the twin knits swirl slipover which is now on my needles, so thank you!! As for the Q&A: If it's not too personal, what do you do for work? And how do you find so much time for knitting?

You are so sweet! My experience with nutiden is that it will pill as it’s being worn in but I just take a gleaner to it and the pilling slows after that

Hi, Bella. That vest is very nice, I hope when you do that top down, and work the armpits, that maybe you can show or explain what you did. As a very beginner knitter, I know it's a long while b4 I can do that. The knowledge and experience would be joyfull. You do very good work, hey if it's fiber I'm interested 😊 😀. Stay well, God bless see you on the tube 😀 🙏.

Hi Bella, do you know how lilysilk treats the silkworms? Is this cruelty free silk? I can’t find any information about this and I don’t want to support a business anymore that kills silkworms in the process of getting the silk. I heard they are mostly cooked alive in hot water when they are in there cocoons to get to the silk threads . Cruelty free silk let’s the worms escape and develop into moth and then they harvest the silk threads .

Is there anyone (prefferably within the US, great if California) out there who would be willing to sell me or exchange their Flisselin for my Jarnviglia? I'm making my 79 yr old mom a cardigan & blouse combo for her birthday, she just survived a stroke, a heart attack & bronchitis. She is a spright little monkey. Sadly, her daughter will not survive the yarn-chicken game. Please, please let me know if you can let go some of it. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR HELP!!
