Great video, thanks! I was confused about how the aluminium shift knob attached from the pictures I saw online, but it all makes sense now. Looks like it should work for my K24 swapped ES1. How is the knob's finish holding up? Still looking good?
I threaded the nut to line up with the shift boot lip. then just simply screwed the knob till it locked. it actually locked below the shift boot. and as far as lining it up. I just sent it and tightened it till it was lined up.
Am I the only one who likes the OEM knob? It’s pretty 🔥

i bought just the shift knob used. how can i buy the clip/ retainer??
idk if they sell that separate
So if you buy the knob new, it comes with the boot adapter?
Yes it should. depends on where you buy from.
I just found the Honda adapter kit, so it is sold separately.
How did you hide the nut under the shift boot. Having trouble right now plus cannot align it straight.

What’s the little clip called
not really sure what the clip is called specifically. try "Shift Boot Adapter Kit" I know acuity & hybrid racing make some
You have the part number for the retainer?
