In process to adopt a 5th time from China! We began in 2012 and adopted in 2013, 2015, 2017, and 2019...now with this virus, we pray to get our next home by 2021! Adoption is wonderful! If anyone is on the fence, I will say this....if you don't adopt, then who will? If you can adopt a child, go for it! If you can't, remember many pets sit in shelters waiting for a family. We can adopt kids, but can not adopt fur babies because we are allergic, so we adopted lizards instead. Everyone who is lead can do something, do what you can do. You will never regret it! 🙂
God bless you for adopting that precious child I have always wanted to adopt a little girl from China but I do not have the means to do so so you guys are very lucky God bless you and your family and I pray that God heals her eyes
Yes, one less. God bless this little girl, her family and those still waiting. Thank you God for making all travel arrangements to bring this little girl home.
I needed this today so thank you! We are working to adopt our daughter from China and some days are harder than others but we are fighting for our little fighter!
I want a orphan from China so bad it hurts but....we are too old now. Im 59 and my husband is 58 and my husband is a disabled veteran in a wheelchair. So of course we would never pass China’s physical. We could easily give a child a nice home along with a guaranteed college education through VA. China and most adoptions over seas wouldn’t approve us but I ache to hold a orphan and help them somehow. God Bless you for what your doing.
I feel the same, I don't know what the age limit is, but I turn 50 in a few weeks. But finance is a problem for us aswell. I don't know why it costs so much to adopt. It's a shame really. I think they should look at anyone who applies. It's got to be better than the children staying in orphanages, surely. 💖
There is hope for you. Bulgaria accepts 50+ aged children. The agency is St. Mary’s. They work with u for finances. God is calling you say yes and then trust and act.
Ciao che bellobambino carino anche la famiglia ebella e carina che o visto il video e bello coplimeti che avete un bello bambino un bacino albambino ciao
Beautiful child who is so blessed to have God loving parents who will love and protect her always. I have watched many (too many) of the orphanage videos and talk about gut wrenching it's awful - so many children - so little space the babies all over the floors (hard floors) and half of them were crying all the time. I don't know if there are enough families in the world to adopt all these orphans world wide. It's a heart breaking sitution and the costs of foreign adoption keeps going up and up and up making it almost financial prohibiting to adopt. I wish we could save them all because when they age out (so many more girls than boys) they have no skills, family, money, home -- it seems like they are going from one nightmare to the next. I have read up on these and watched documentaries and I VERY high percentage of these orphans turn to drugs, alcohol, stealing, prostitution, it's just a lose lose.
Gee, Sue Maxwell Thompson, that's your takeaway? Impressive combo of bigotry, nationalism, racism and provincialism, all wrapped up in one snarky question. That you'd begrudge a couple adding a special needs daughter to their family - one who would've undoubtedly languished, her medical needs untreated in her own country - is cruel and short-sighted, too. How special. May you find the joy in life you bring to others.
In Sept. '24, China stopped all international adoptions. For the 80K+ Chinese orphans who are now US citizens, thank you to China. Now we hope that every little one in Chinese orphanages are adopted in-country. To those who still wish to bring home a child in need of a family, there are over 2 million adoptable children around the world. Agencies can answer all of your questions. Godspeed. 🩵🙏

Why not adopt a American child?
