Honestly...this game feels like an easier version of SOTF because they hit similar gameplay beats for me (high stats, wide variety of units, lunatic reverse option, tools to break the game, etc). Storywise, I can't really say anything of note about it. Caelia had a lot of Nergal moments, Alolan Black Knight didn't really have the impact that it should've had, Helga was dumb and there were a lot of chapters that I feel could be removed or merged together (this game is 37 chapters long). Primal Dialga theme is nice tho. The epilogue reminds me of FE4/Kaga Saga since she speaks to EVERYONE. Only thing missing was them having conversations amongst themselves and making the video 1 hour longer It's only been 1 romhack since I got my pick so I still let someone else choose. Nergal at least had a tragic backstory involving his family and his magic drove him insane in his quest to find his family. Caelia literally waged war on humanity because the spoiled brat didn't get the shiny toy she wanted. That's all I really saw from her.

See, I played Justice and Pride before the pandemic, but I ended up losing my save when I switched my computer to a new one. However, the creator of the hack actually uploaded a playthrough of this game, which was thus where I got the stuff I'll mention. Namely: 1. Helga, Ricardo, and Albert didn't appear in this map. Iirc, on Lunatic Reverse, it's just Caelia, the Halberdiers, and two ice dragons (plus the monsters at your starting position) 2. Caelia's dragon form was actually a palette of the Dracozombies from FE8 instead of a recolor of the FireDragon from 7. Which explained why I was wondering "I could have sworn Dragon!Caelia and the entire map looked different!" 3. Speaking of, Aderyn's Exordium _did_ deal effective damage against the old version of Dracozombie!Caelia (which is why I'm typing this out). I'm guessing the creator forgot to make Exordium effective against her new form? Happens to the best of us...

Yep, it came from the early FEbuilder days of romhacks (Vision Quest, Sun God's Wrath, Four Kings, etc). There are more fully custom hacks released in the past (few) year(s) than there were in the 2010s. I wonder what the new standard for fully completed hack will be in the future. TLP still surprises me with it being the first one, but having full supports, a postgame (with playable memory prisms) and a lot of unique ideas.
Awesome let's play like always! At the time I played this I wasn't aware of how good luna was and went w Exordium and killed the bunch or enemies in the final chapter. It was a pain in the neck. Now if you want a more solid story and great gameplay try Bells of Byelen, I finished it recently and the story writing is pretty damn good. Besides, the gameplay is challenging and every character is unique, my biggest recommendation for you. My other recommendation given how much you never lose a character and your playthroughs are perfect, I'd love to see how you beat Iron Emblem, I haven't played it myself yet, but from what I've heard it's pretty fun and challenging and you have to use sacrifice strategies to beat it comfortably. Thanks for your videos, I always enjoy watching them although it's the first time I leave I comment lol.
Even when nerfed, Luna and Nosferatu are still pretty powerful (FE8 Luna just has bad users at base while even at its most nerfed, FE14 Nosferatu is still good) Iron Emblem would be a weird, but interesting palette cleanser since its not story heavy at all and instead designed to be ironmanned with playable generics. Blitz/Telephone hacks (Void's Blitzarre Adventure, Call of the Armor, Embers Entwined, Bells of Byelen and An Unexpected Caller) would be interesting to go through to see how the history of these types of hacks and how they changed overtime (NOT ALL AT ONCE THOUGH, that's about 5 hacks)
You know something about Travis, I kind of wish there was a secret way to let him join you, or at the very least, let him live. Like how Sephiran joins you if you fulfill certain requirements. Granted, it would take out some plot ideas the game had and sell the ending short, but I still think it would've been a nice, "you've found this, here's your reward for a good job!" from the devs.
I mean, Travis being able to be saved does make more sense than Sephiran being able to be saved in some way, or at least more possible, since they did end up saying that they could cure his wounds easily, but maybe Travis didn't want to live anymore or something (then again, Sephiran was explicitly a death seeker himself)
Yeah, granted, Travis being spared made the most sense, and I honestly understand why he didn’t want to live anymore (being controlled by your alleged killer and forced to fight your family and friends and do a huge number on one’s sanity). But still, what rubbed me the wrong way about Travis saying leave me was that his father was telling him, “you’re good dawg, come back with us!” And he was like, “nah.” And even if it was because he didn’t want to hold them up while Caelia is throwing dragons a homecoming party, couldn’t they have just brought some healers to take care of him while they crashed Caelia’s party? Like wouldn’t they have someone in the back to at the very least heal the troops after a battle? I feel like I’m overthinking this…
I think it really just felt like Travis finally wanted to rest in peace, and that's a fair reason to not want to continue living. There's some rather questionable moments in this hack, but Travis not wanting to live isn't one of them, in my humble opinion.

I manage to play use Aderyn and Donovan support each other within Leon and Melinda strongest and speeds lvl.20 max along with Kara the Flying Witch, Ella the Dodge Sage, Tabitha the Great Sniper, Krystal the dancer boost, Liss the Strongest, Caterina as Bishop that light damage against monsters, Theodora her best friend and others too and I use it Aderyn father, Simon getting rescue units from Dragon's range and Caelia, too. Also, when Aderyn and Donovan A Support, they're actually married from epilogue. (Thought he's a bodyguard for Aderyn after all).
Caelia used Roar of Time! *Kara took 105 damage!* Kara used Luna! *It's super effective! Caelia took 370 damage!* You know something about this hack I love is how Aderyn and Caelia is a foil of each other. It's simple, but down to earth and the premise is honestly relatable. Both of them are out for blood for something that happened in the past-Aderyn wants revenge for Travis' death, and Caelia is upset that everything she worked for was taken away from her. And to be honest, can you blame either of them? If either happened to any normal person, anyone would have gone extremely insane. And it's clear that neither of them have clearly recovered-Caelia festered for 500 years, and if Caelia's execution implies anything, Aderyn's story is probably not over yet... (Apparently too, there's a sequel, but what happens in that hack, I dont know for certain)
Yeah, in the end, Caelia became a monster herself, a rabid animal that needed to be put down. Although, that part of Aderyn's story might not actually be shown since the sequel ended up being cancelled. So uh, lol.

Also I see how the developer of this hack evilly tried to make a cheese-proof penultimate boss with literally "immunity against every standard boss cheese" mechanic in a Skill-sys FE8 Hack, that is Watchful + Nihil + Vantage+ + Full Metal Body +... Relief? Would that to be too much to give him Renewal instead? As for first half of the final boss, just having Watchful and Nihil is okay. Also, you're not promoting a few units until the final chapter? Seriously? Also, yeah, doesn't matter which FE romhack it is, anything with Luna's total Res-ignoring (or Def-ignoring for physical) will be always be overpowered and be the perfect, ultimate boss killer weapon. The final boss still has full metal body + Nihil + Relief, on top of Grizzly Wound (but no Liquid Ooze for that to matter, strangely). Also, I saw you picked Reverse mode from the start, so... congratulations for beating the game on the hardest difficulty in Reverse mode!
This hack felt like a romp-style hack, which I don't necessarily mind. Hacks like these have their time and place. After playing through hacks that gruelly test your strategy, an easier hack is a welcome reprieve every once in a while. But if there's lesser challenge to be had, a strong story and strong character writing is an absolute must, which this hack has a very clear deficiency of. The whole saga with Helga did not need to happen. I've stated this before, and I'll say it again. Her role as a Camus archetype felt forced, and it never feels good when a character is forced to be an archetype. I've seen too many times where a character could oppose the main character for a completely dumb and avoidable circumstance rather than a circumstance that was outside of their control, and this one is yet another folly to add to the pile. Helga was horribly written, and it did not get any better from there. I had my concerns about the game balance when this hack gave you your first stat-boosting relic. And my concerns were validated when the game inexplicably gave you _a second Warp staff_ , and even further reinforced when the game gave you the Fire Emblem, Ultra Relic, and _a free 30 pow staffbot that can ALSO move again_ . Because, clearly, your characters aren't already strong enough with the free statboosts you have from your relics, you need another relic that boosts all stats, and then *_ANOTHER_* relic that boosts all your stats AGAIN. And that's not to speak of the numerous useable statboosters this game drops in your lap, on top of Secret Shops that sell said statboosting useables, along with a lot of funds to go towards those statboosters. I am not exaggerating when I say this game's balance was wrecked. I get the feeling this romhack's creator kinda just gave up by about Chapter 25 and started warpskipping maps instead of properly playtesting their hack, which would explain a lot of the errors lategame, which includes, but isn't limited to: Leftover Sacred Stones data (the S Rank staff description and Phineas's recruitment line for Hestia both come to mind here), numerous text errors and typos, and Hope being given the wrong weapon. Not saying the hack creator didn't playtest their hack, but it sure almost looks like it when they gave you a second Warp Staff and designed highly cheeseable maps for the final parts of the game. I do not exaggerate this. The fact that, with all the free stats you're given, you could literally make *_LUIGI_* OFFENSIVELY VIABLE with the number of useable statboosters and statboosting relics you're given, speaks volumes to how horribly unbalanced this game is. Nevermind Kara, the Hermit, or even Isaiah. Romp-style romhacks have their place, as I said, but this hack was far too easy, even by romp standards. And the story and character writing sadly does not make up for this. I'd sooner recommend Road to Ruin, honestly, even if that hack had its own problems.
Drums of War has some neat writing to it and the worldbuilding is cool too I wonder how much of it is going to end up enhanced in the remake of Dreams of Five since it's by the same person/team
