- Fight fans have requested that Canelo Alvarez face both David Benavidez and Demetrius Andrade for years. On November 25, the pair will fight each other for the right to finally take on the Mexican superstar next year. SN's Andreas Hale catches up with Andrade to talk about his power, how the fight came to be, moving up to 168 lbs, and how he believe Benavidez is the REAL champion at 168 lbs - NOT Canelo.

That narrative of Andrade being avoided by all champions is exaggerated. Erislandy Lara who Canelo critics claim beat Canelo was a champ @ 154 & 160 same time Andrade was there. No 1 has ever claimed he tried to fight Lara. Never tried to fight 160 IBF Champ Danny Jacobs either.
