Have you seen the movie Coco? I think it is either Disney or Pixar. It is all about the Day of the Dead and it is a wonderful movie. I love the Day of the Dead and have always wanted to celebrate it. Your alter is just gorgeous!

Did you know that the altar must be placed depending on the cause of the death of the deceased? Just as an extra tip:
October 28th: All of those who died by homicide/murder
October 30th and 31st: All of the babies or infants who weren’t baptized
November 1st: Those who died infants and baptized
November 2nd: Those who died adults by natural cause
The info I’m lacking on (as being mexican), is if those who died by homicide can be placed in the same altar as those who died by natural cause. But if anyone happens to know this, please let me know.
By the way, your altar it’s beautiful for being the first one 🌼💀🌼💀🌼

I'm mexican and never knew this. We're celebrating my sister in law this year. She was taken by homicide. Thank you so much.

They also celebrate in Europe. Many would not know this unless they have lived in Europe.
