Take a Tour of 10DLC in the Plivo Console

10-digit long code (10DLC), a service offered by the US mobile network operators, explicitly allows commercial application-to-person (A2P) SMS traffic over long code phone numbers. 10DLC numbers are standard US local phone numbers that are 10 digits long, including the area code. To take advantage of this sanctioned channel, customers must register their business, declare their use cases, and link phone numbers. This registration lets carriers know who’s sending messages and what kinds of messages are being sent, so they can protect end users from spam and unwanted messages.
Available features allow Plivo customers to:
Register their company (brands) and use cases (campaigns)
Link their 10-digit long code numbers to campaigns
View 10DLC registration status of a number via our number lookup API
Quickly check the campaign associated with a number
Filter out unsanctioned messages quickly from console or server SDKs
