This video has been a lifesaver for me. I knew very little about a kindle and this video has answered so many of my questions. While watching this, I was able to set up my new Kindle Paperwhite. AND I am all set to start reading. The only thing I need to figure out now (that I know of) is how to get my iPods linked so I can listen to my audiobooks. Excellent beginner guide - highly recommended!
This was amazingly thorough! Can you please come and do a beginners guide on my Car, kids, excel etc, you know anything that I am only getting 2% of usage from. 😊😂 No really, I am a new Kindle user and this was so helpful. I hope you do another beginners review on the “new kindle” that is “reportedly….maybe” coming out in 2025. Thank you again.
People really have no idea how truly superior the old archived books are (70 years or more) compared to any new material, especially that written or published in the last 30 years, or even twice that. And the good stuff is totally free, and you can very easily have it in Kindle, Mobi or many other formats- no "tech experience" required. Just this last year I found (looked them up) some fantastically written, engrossing and educational novels from authors I never would have expected! From age 15 til 65 I never used to read novels other than the several hundred when I was a child and young teenager when I read hundreds of paperback novels, mostly heroic fantasy, science fiction and horror, plus the 25+ classic pieces I was "forced" to read every summer from the 4-7th grade (an actually good school with GOOD teachers- imagine that; unlike today).
Thank you! For some reason, my brand new Kindle Paperwhite didn't show any of the tutorial guides for how to use it. For example, when I first opened a book, it didn't show me how to change the pages or open the menu. I've basically been tapping all over the screen trying to figure everything out blindly...
One reason for password set-up failure if setting up on the kindle (don't know about the Phone method) that I have found is that the Kindle does not recognise an Apostrophe ( ' ) if used in the Amazon log-in password. I had already set up My Windows PC with the Amazon Kindle reading App and used the Amazon store and purchase a book. I also downloaded the Kindle for PC App which is linked to the kindle store. My new and first ever Kindle Paperwhite arrived but would not log in. It kept telling me my password was not recognised. Spoke to 4 Kindle adviser at amazon over two days, NO Help at all. As a last ditch effort I changed my Amazon password (14 key strokes long) by removing only the Apostrophe. This password was accepted by the Kindle first try. Strange that an Apostrophe is accepted on a PC as part of the password but not by the Kindle. Interested to see if any one else has found this to be so.
I switched from Nook Reader to Kindle and I am so disappointed. Nook is so much friendly user and easy to operate. I do like the long battery feature on kindle and would be the ony reason I might get another one, but I'm not a Kindle fan. Kindle buttons take a long time to function and have to press several times before they work.
Just wondering if there is a glare while reading, as compared to an IPad Mini? Would you recommend a screen protector or anti glare protector to put on the screen?
@@amc17bears I have a kindle paper white and I love it. Battery lasts forever, can read for an entire day straight without it dying, it’s water resistant so you can even read at the pool, beach, river or even in the bath tub without any fear of dropping it and it getting wet cuz the water just slides right off, and the anti glare screen works even in direct light. You’ll love it.
Just got mine today! Watching & learning from you; when I first opened it the home page was in colour but now sits gone, only black & white, is this normal? I’m so used to a real book I hope I like it! The touch pad is hard to get used to at the moment but just starting now
I will be returning this Kindle. All I want is to download my books and read them. Amazon replaced the wrong Kindle. All of my old books are showing up on the paperwhite. I can't get rid of them. This does much more than I need and I'll never figure it out. I purchased this to replace my husband's Kindle Keyboard. There is no way he'll ever be able to manage this one
Hi there! I'm thinking of buying a paperwhite. Do I HAVE to have a .monthly subscription to use this? I was hoping I could jist buy my ebooks and save them on the paperwhite and then use them when I want. Is that possible, anybody know? Thank you
I activated my Kindle Paperwrite before I downloaded the Kindle app on my phone. I have synced on in Settings, but the app is not syncing with Kindle. Also, how do I exit a book in my Kindle after reading it? There doesn't seem to be an option.

Thank you!! Very informative video!
Great video and excellent help. But .... libary? Every time you say "libary" instead of "library" it jars me! 🙂
OMG!! Me, too!!!!

Great video, but what exactly is a lyberry?

It’s already anti glare. You can read it in direct sunlight with no issues.
@@ravenjean463 thank you for replying. I am leaning more and more towards getting a Kindle Paperwhite for my reading as soon as I can.

i think the Nook reader by barnes and noble is so much friendly usable. I have both and I prefer Nook

My goodreads doesn’t look like that. Should I be updating somehow?

You didn't say anything about exiting a book or to delete a book.
to delete press and hold down on book and then click on option delete and say ok
what is the best way to read anime
What if you don't want to set it up on your phone....it there another way ??
Thanks for this video, but the thing is, the kindle doesn’t connect to my iPhone. What I mean is that Bluetooth doesn’t recognize my iPhone
I have tried to restart it, as well as put it in factory settings but it simply won't connect through bluetooth, it doesn't appear at all.
I cant figure how to turn off the book reading to me
I got into a book now I can't get out of it. Any advice?
Thanks I rewatch and realized I missed it.
Tap on the top. You will get option of going back to library
I don't get that option so I can't exit the book.. @@prashantsuryawanshi8222
what? i kinda want achievements for adults! XD

No smart phone
Complicated paperwhite setup. Screen glare from camera lights.
Whew! way too complicated for me.....
I have a Kindle and haven't used it in a few years because of that very reason. 😫
Dude, the word is LIBRARY, not “Lie-Berry”.
All the obvious. Nothing useful to restart after you haven't used it in a while.
