Great explanation! When i started in college with 3dsmax i have an Acer laptop with only 8GB RAM and intel i5 so the render lasted forever, and almost burned :D almost immediately i switch to desktop with intel i7 and 16GB RAM, and it was ok for small project and learning. 3 years ago I started working and chose AMD Ryzen 7 1700x with 32GB RAM, it was a big shift and now with larger scenes I use 64GB RAM because a lot of crashes. And I'm really looking forward to an early upgrade to AMD Threadripper and 128GB. So no stress, we can always upgrade ;)
Hey Veronika, glad you like the video! We all had to start somewhere! I remember first seeing a dual-core processor and being amazed by the double speed!
Just curious, have you upgraded your cpu? Since I currently have i5 2400 3.10ghz which I'm using to build a portfolio about my renderings, it works alright for simple scenes, trying to upgrade hopefully in future.
Seems great for those wishing to work in architecture.

Really really nice video! I wish I could saw before I bought my PC!! although I said to an IT to build my computer (as I didnt have a clue of doing that) and it was a disaster as my Pc renders really slow (at least 10h-24h for an interior scene not full with props) Sometimes I give up cause this thing!! Because I give quite a lot money to get that PC! Anyway this is my characteristics:
1. Intel Xeon processor E5- 1630 v4 10M cache, 3,70 Ghz
2. 512SSD and 2 x 1 T HDD
3. 32 GB DDR4 ram
4. Nvidia Quadro M 4000 8GB DDR 5
If anyone can give an advice to improve this PC I would appreciate!
