Can you believe it? A movie that doesn‘t just have 1 queer character or couple that‘s more of a stereotypically gay sidekick than a whole human being? ANNE+ the movie felt way more in touch with what queer culture can be like (in liberal European countries) than any other series or movie has managed to do so for me. Some queer representation feels pretty liniar. Like the reason you know a character is gay is their tragic coming out story and that‘s about it. ANNE+ felt so much more diverse (no pun intended) in portraying not only Anne but her friends as well in terms of „here are happy moments that you can have because of your queerness, here are struggles that might come with being queer and here are general happy moments and struggles that most people outside the community know as well.“
Its a great story with beautifull charracters .. i loved it !! But its also stereotypical .. woman telling you its about communicating !! And they are right..... love is a beautifull sight .. and i like it there s not much crying .. good on you ladies !!!!

Queer. Over het algemeen is een queer persoon iemand wiens seksuele geaardheid niet hetero is, dus bijvoorbeeld lesbisch, homo of biseksueel. Soms wordt er ook trans en/of non-binaire (iemand die zich geen man of vrouw voelt) mee bedoeld.
