This lesson really spoke to me.
I retired from rhe military at the top of my game.
I had ribbons on my chest and an armful of stripes.
I was respected and confident.
When I retired I felt like I hung up my cape and became mortal .
I was an invisible old who misses the past.
I feel like I was at my peak and it's all downhill from now.
I spend too much time of Facebook wirh people who remember me from then.
Sums me up. Age 41. Hope not too late to get life I want. Avoiding responsibility. Suddenly broken relationships mount up and anxiety kicks in looking ahead. Almost easier to live in past
It isn't too late, mate. And it's definitely easier to live in the past. That's why we do it. But it's a comfortable and slow death. Life is waiting for you when you're ready.
nail on the head well impressed so specific
Thankyou, brother.
Well said. I also think my sign has been lying to myself about how passive ive been and thinking of all the things i would have done like "yeah thats who i really am and what i would have done" well i wasnt and i didn't. When the stress hits i act passively to a fault. But owning it now and making a conscious decision to finally listen to the voice inside thats been screaming for integrity must happen or i will never become the man my soul calls for and the world needs. Thank you for this
I’m currently working my way through your videos on self improvements. I think I’m looking towards self acceptance, healing and self loving myself. All big stuff x
Thank you dude
You're welcome, mate
ya man
👍🏻
Why hasn’t this video received more views and likes ????
Very very good question haha
@@OliverCowlishaw Just know that this video helped me so much . 6 years of therapy couldn’t help . Thank you very very much 🙌🙌
I'm 56 and was the first in the universe to have ADHD. I have about 38,000 "projects" and do good to finish 1. The fact that not one soul actually gives a damn about me does not help.
You have 38,000 projects? Damn.
@OliverCowlishaw Sorry, I was exaggerating or, what others may know as a hyperbole.
But yeah, I'm down to 37,997 as of today 🫡

So if I’ve been passive for too long, is it possible I’ve passed the point where I can stop being passive?
It's always possible to change, brother.
What if you have difficulty deciding? Thank you.
Start very very small.
Is never too late to do something about our lives. Remember your video please. We are not behind in life as denzel at his 40s became a famous actor

I feel you, brother. I really do.
