We can all agree that TheNewWorldReview has the best Nen Ability because he can still conjure HxH videos and make our day better although HxH is not continuing.
Thing is, that ability, like all Nen Abilities, has its limit. And the abilites payoff is also nothing to scoff at. Having the majority of your viewership of your general anime channel mostly being interested in HxH and virtually nothing else is a steep price.
I think Illumi's versatility would be at a 25 instead of 20. Not only can it control people, he can use it to change his own appearance, take control of the dead and used to assassinate.
We are talkin about nen. He uses needles just needles no nen involved to change his appearance. Controlling the dead (if true) uses nen so i wont argue
@@Ash-cg9bi we are actually never told if changing his face uses nen (in the anime atleast), you could argue that it isn't a nen ability at all because of its similarities to the way killua alters his hand to make it as sharp as a knife. Killua could alter his hand before he knew about nen, so it isn't a nen ability.
He'll likely be the protagonist for the Dark Continent section of the story (like How Kurapika is the protagonist of the current one and Yorknew), seeing as he's wanting to be a doctor and the continent has all sorts of bizarre animals and diseases.
Morel doesn't get enough credit for being one of the very best nen users in the entire series. I'm surprised that with the role he played in the Chimera Ant arc he didn't come close to being voted in as the next chairman. He was the #2 leader of the hunter response only to Netero, the former chairman.
I've said it once and I'll say it again, koltopi's ability is the most awesome of them all. Imagine copying dozens of burger, eating it then it disappears after 24 hours. You ate good for free and didnt get fat. Like wow!
Kinda sad that Feitan’s Pain Packer/Burnt by the Sun combo wasn’t mentioned. Talk about zany. He literally gets Templar armor and unleashes the power of the sun based on his rage? That’s sick af.
Its crazy how within Togashi's world there are rules and limitations holding back Morel with his powers and yet he is significantly more versatile and imaginative with it than the comparatively unencumbered Smoker in One Piece
@@Mananpicar Incorrect; Smoker, like Ceaser Clown, is capable of manipulation of all smoke in the area. He is also capable of creating smoke that is not converted from his bodymass. That being said, from what I can tell, it does seem as though smoker doesn't use his fruit as effectively as Morel uses his nen abilities. That being said, Non-Paramecia devil fruits, in general, seem to be a bit more limited than most nen abilities to begin with, so... I don't know.
@Karsielatee Watkins It can technically be explained away by the differences in the two's enviornment. Morel (I assume) came up with his abilities in an enviornment that allowed him to be as creative as he wished, with little to no requirements of him other than those he set himself. A similar situation to Luffy, who's development was only really held back by his natural lack of intelligence. As for smoker, he has, essentially, been copying other logias he has encountered, and likely is heavily influenced by Ace and Akaino's use of logia powers, which is less suited for smoker due to the difference in his abilities. I do think it would be interesting, should Smoker get some time to hone his abilities in a less restrictive enviornment, though.
Smoker still has his time to shine in the story, when he does I am sure we will all not be disappointed. I can definitely see him becoming pretty creative and strong with his fruit. Definitely seeing him being a rival to Luffy in the future.
That wasn't even his final form, I mean it is for emperor time but his chains can also steal abilities and let him use them (once) and even let others use the stolen abilities There's really no end to "if you just shorten your lifespan you can do anything and everything" Mary sue nonsense Oh yes and he can use that and emperor time in general vs non spiders and ability stealing prevents the original user from using it which is just almost as good as the forced zetsu chains And he can tell if people lie now with his chain without forcing them into telling the truth by chaining their hearts So... just bs Mary sue "I can do whatever the f I want when I want and if I can't I'll decide I have yet another ability"
@@blueplayer6197 the drawback is he loses one hour of life every second which can definitely add up and he also must rest for a long time after using too much energy through emperor time, which may cause him to lose even more life (he accidentally passed out and lost five years just from one use)
@@therealwelfin Honestly it wasn't even 100% clear if the time he spends passed out counts or not because A. he doesn't EVER show any sign of aging anyway and B. he himself was wondering if the blackout just means emperor time got a random time limit of 3 hours which could easily imply that when he wakes up it auto reactivates or something and then none of it mattered, there's 0 confirmation because we don't see if that dolphin is still around when kurapika is in blackout. At any rate even if it's correct and blackout time counts - this is kurapika being greedy for no good reason keeping that ability for a later time instead of dismissing it, he should at the very least have the brain to only steal abilities when he wants to force zetsu or when he wants to use them and only abilities he knows he can activate reasonably fast. If he blackedout without the steal chain up then for 100% sure emperor time would turn off because it's not forced on. Now, since most other battles take minutes not hours and since not having absurd god mode bs usually costs hunters their lives - the lifespan consumption DOESN'T MATTER at all it's not even a drawback. That Kurapika is now so far up his own hole that he is just burning his life is just a character flaw, imagine Killua simply deciding he got that, he is very calculated, he never battles for a large time span, he'd just be completely invincible. "I use emperor time to instantly heal, instantly charge electricity, instantly get comparable strength to Uvo, increase my speed to Netero level or above it and.. force zetsu cause lul" - that would be how it goes on Killua, would it still be acceptable to you? come on. Remember - the entire battle against the royal guards took barely any time and killua charged with electricity was able to make a full out of Youpi (until he ran out) Meaning Killua trading say... 60 hours of his life? would take out SOLO youpi easily. What would netero do with that? take out mereum for 2 hours? bummer he never figured out he can just do that huh? Not to mention Kurapika would have been dead with any other ability to Uvo so that's just cutting into the profit. Now I am sure at some point kurapika is going to drop on the floor and explain how he constantly abused his mary sue power for all those eyeballs, but that again is just him abusing it all willy nilly without any thought and I again am going to bring up chain jail and the big deal togashi made out of it - and now it's just a strictly worse steal chain, so what was even the point? Really nothing Kurapika has been doing is making any sense, he devolved into 'well I need him to die, guess I'll just make him incredibly careless and also incredibly overpowered to make sure the spiders die, need me some dead spiders too' His abilities used to have an actual drawback, they literally don't have that anymore (unless we consider the user constantly running into traffic a drawback..) Speaking of running into traffic, man sure would be funny if Gon instead of the whole giving up his whole future thing was like 'I am going to give up I guess 2 hours per second' so he'd spend like a week of his life to kill pitou and he'd be able to reattach his own arm, no AI needed. Man if only he managed to think about that what a shame.
@@blueplayer6197 lol you’re so upset but don’t act like kurapika is op when everyone else’s abilities are insanely powered as well Killua with godspeed alone would destroy kurapika so how is he overpowered there ; gon’s aging ability could never have worked with a drawback other than giving up his future because that’s what it gives him ; kurapika’s ability just expends future energy right now hence the drawback and why u feel it’s too op ; don’t act like members of the troupe (feitan, chrollo, etc) aren’t op themselves lol yeah chain jail would work on them but it’d be insanely hard to catch them in the first place before they burn kurapika
I believe it’s criminal how few people have made “My own Hatsu” videos, please make 1 I think you’d put much thought into a power that reflects you personally and GrandLineWaifu can even pick your category based off your personality that’d make it more interesting.
@@wholelottabry3036 I agree that he is a disgusting person. But to some he might be attractive. Just because you think someone is attractive doesn’t mean you support their actions
His hatsu is that he can crush anyone with his hatsu, but with the restrcition that they have to be younger than him, and that they have to drink his juice, a hefty price for an overpowered abilty
@@Sernival Nen has different rules for functionality but as a power system Devil fruits are just as open ended in terms of possibilies and applications. Just look at Luffy, Doflamingo or Katakuri. Even other logia users like Ceasar, Enel or Aokiji have shown how much possibilities there can be with manipulating your element. A talented and strong devil fruit user with the Moku Moku No Mi would most definitely be capable of creating abilities similar to Morel's, especially with the use of haki.
@@squilliamfancyson1080 Smoke is a logia. As of now in the story you can’t make controllable clones with a logia. Robin can clone his body so that is different and Doffy can create solid strings, also he has mastered his DF so he can control it better.
- Nanika = Omnipotent - Meruem = infinite nen growth - hatsu stealing hatsus = infinite potential of stocking hatsus - nen abilities with restrictions that exponentially improve them but the restrictions are actually almost non existent despite they improving the abilities so much
Almost all this information is wrong lol 1) omnipotence means nothing at all, even meruem is stated to be omnipotent 2) infinite nen growth, doesn't really mean anything since in theory every character has infinite nen growth, by improving abilities or creating new ones to master, and if you're talking about raw aura quantity there's no evidence supporting that claim 3) same as answer 2 4) what does this even mean?
@Psychoanalyze 1) you know very well that omnipotence means in Nanika's contex. It's literally the whole plot of the final anime arc. 2) by infinite nen growth I'm obviously talking about the ability Meruem already has to stack the nens of his victims in top of each other to grow non stop. Obviously everyone technically could improve infinitely, he already has the whole ability system prepared to do it. 3) same as number 2, he already has the whole system prepared, most nen users despite having the possibilities of creating a system to let them grow infinitely, never even get close to creating one, they just focus on something else. 4) exactly what I said... when nen abilities have a personality, it seems the nen restrictions and probabilities can be manipulated by manipulating the personality of the nen ability. AKA Kite talking to his roulette that every spin is bad, or Kilua having a brother sister relationship with Nanika getting unlimited wishes potential at 0 cost.
@filipe_paixao 1) omnipotence doesn't exist, even if it did, she bound to conditions, which completely contradicts the concept of omnipotence 2 & 3 idc that much since they aren't super important 4) manipulating nen conditions/ rules ≠ manipulating a characters personality or vice Versa. Killua is an exception because it's a separate abilitiy. Wish granting vs commands. For kite I still don't see nor understand the correlation between that and the premise
@Psychoanalyze omnipotence meaning varies as it can have many interpretations. In hxh, that ability can grant anything but will later expect an equal sized retribution. In that sense, it falls in an interpretation of omnipotence.
The thing with me when it comes to teleportation abilities is I always imagine how practical it would actually be in everyday life, like, If I wanted to teleport to work, I'd have to establish portals in discreet places, and then you have to make sure no one sees you stumble out of the storage closet or the alleyway dumpster too many times or they'll become suspicious. I can't imagine it would be long before intelligence agencies catch wind of your abilities and you life the rest of your life hiding away from the CIA.
Hide and Seek (and portals in general) comes with the advantage of being able to look through the other end before fully exiting. This adds a bit of a safety net if you want to keep it hidden. And you can have a handful of discreet warp points that aren’t that unusual (like a nearby park or the parking lot itself). GPS/location services are a far bigger risk to discovery than the points you teleport to. Even if you are discovered, Hide and Seek has another advantage: the other side of the portal is a pocket dimension. You can lay low with literally no risk of being ambushed, except when you exit to get supplies or add new warp points. Plus a number of other options pertaining to the advantages pocket dimensions and portals have over standard “blink and you’re there” style teleportation.
I'm always confused as to how killua never appears on this list, I mean changing nen into electricity is EXTREMELY versatile with access to both conscious and subconscious super speed and reflexes, as well as the ability to use it as a weapon or possibly fry security systems or charging a home, for those looking for a practical application. It is also very creative, as it was stated directly in the greed island arc, it was only theoretically possible to that point and, while some may say that it isn't, because killua had been exposed to electric torture for his entire life, it would still take a great deal of creative thinking to manifest this energy that is, at it's core, a force past the range of a human sensory ability to perceive, to the point that he is able to convert electricity into nen, as he is seen doing in the chimera ant arc, and vice versa. As for efficiency, because it allows him to move at super speeds, he should be able to move fast enough that he is able to accomplish any task he needs to before he runs out of nen, and on top of that, if he were to run out of nen before he could, he could just carry around some batteries and literally RECHARGE HIS NEN, I mean seriously the efficiency levels should be really high as well seeing as his nen could be infinite under the right conditions. For suitability, bro this man is an assassin, speed is essential when trying to take out a target, and when coupled with his silent footsteps, this dude is practically impossible to see coming, and even if you do, you wouldn't be able to escape, and once again bringing up the possiblity to fry security systems, cameras, etc, there is no digital or mechanical way of tracking him either, as long as he plays his cards right, and also he can use his electricity with his yo-yos, which can function as a secondary weapon as well as a torture method, which makes him even more powerful for his specific use case. Even IF he decided to utterly abandon assassin work, this ability would still be very useful for a regular hunter doing day-to-day hunter things, so I would say his suitability score would be quite high as well. The only reason I can see for why he didn't make the list is because the absolutely wonderful and fantastic man running this channel ❤️ sees the use of electrical nen in killuas body, it's use as an electrical force outside of his body, the ability to convert electricity to nen and nen to electricity, etc, as distinct and different hatsu/abilities, which is a fair claim to make given that it is his video and he makes the rules when it comes to his determination of the best abilities in the series, then it would damage his stance quite considerably, to the point that I can see why killua didn't make the list, but otherwise I have no clue why he didn't. Also, for those who will undoubtedly say that I have no life for writing this rant, I do, it just happens to be late at night on the first day of spring break, and I feel particularly driven when it comes to this subject :D
@@fitzparker7913 ohh, so it's more that he's not efficient when he makes the electricity that it doesn't work well, which would make sense seeing as his only ability to understand it's true nature would be through feeling it in his own body, which, while it would work to an extent as far as his research into creating it with Nen, it's not a good enough copy of real electricity, and thus is only partially compatible, decreasing it's ability to function as effectively as it could. Wow, that actually makes a lot of sense, thanks bro, I appreciate it.
@@AKdoit-r3 ong, like, I get that his powers are still in their infancy, having only been in practice for less than a year, but the concept alone I feel like should still earn him a spot.
I think it failed to make the list because it isn't terribly sustainable (needing to recharge) and it's kinda only suited to Killua (anyone who isn't a trained assassin who's gained an immunity to electric shock will not be able to utilize the ability) granted it should score off the charts in creativity and should be very high in efficiency.
This man is so intelligent, it just amazes me. The level of understanding he has about the manga he is interested is baffling. Be it one piece, game of thrones or HxH, he dives in so deep and presents it so perfectly. being able to produce this much content with such limited resource... notthing but respect.
'Chain-Set' is wrong to Judge as 1 Thing. It's clearly 5 Hatsu, adding up to Kurapika having 7, which seems to be, by all means, his Limit. He seems to have the Highest Nen-Memory we saw till now (that's a Zodiac for ya) with 7. But i think many Fans dont even remember what Nen-Memory is and NWR has not covered it yet, unfortunately.
I’d have put Godspeed in there as well. Very suitable for Killua since he was trained to withstand electric shocks since his early years. It’s also pretty efficient when comparing aura cost, electricity charge with the boost it gives Killua (allowed Killua to beat the hell out of Youpi which is totally OP). Also, it’s extremely creative in my opinion both the name and the applications of the hatsu. Justice for my boy Killua
This channel is probably the best way of learning about Nen (if we don't count the show or the Manga itself). I learned so much here 2:21 that picture of Mashi is pure love
When I think about it, Aura Synthesis doesn’t just allow Meruem to absorb his opponent’s aura and add it to its own after devouring them. It rather makes him capable of using their abilities as well. Proof is that when he absorbed Pufu and Yupi, he would use their powers quite naturally. So he should have a better score, doesn’t he ?
It'd be cool if you could make the slideshow a little smaller next time, it's a little distracting from the imagery on screen, but aside form that - great video! Always glad to see more HxH content :)
Most people would say something like 100 type guanjin borisatva ( Netero's ability ) the problem is netero is the only one who could effectively use it the ability itself kinda sucks
The ability sucks? It’s literally the most perfect possible ability for netero and that was reflected when it allowed him to become the strongest home on the face of the earth. Yes it’s only for him but so what? That’s the point of hatsu.
After scrolling the comments for like ten minutes and not seeing it mentioned even once, I’ve decided the number one most underrated nen ability in the series is Basho’s Wandering Haiku Poet. He’s sort of a hippie pothead, so an ability built around writing poetry seems quite suitable to him while also being very creative. The versatility of being able to *make anything you write become a reality* should be incredibly versatile, almost brokenly so. And it must be fairly efficient as “can make anything happen” seems like a tall order for a character who didn’t appear to be on the higher end of nen users in sheer power, with a clever condition that could be mitigated over time, as writing poetry off the cuff is a skill that certainly doesn’t come naturally to most people but which can be honed with practice.
I think the problem with his abilitiy is that he needs to actually make a poem, because its based on haiku and he is always making shitty poems. He needs to take a long time to compose a good one, a fast one would suck, he needs to rhyme and write a set number of words. But his ability is really cool and can be very useful, very underrated.
@@CheminzoBut that’s not an analysis of the ability; that’s the fault of the user. Give the ability to a master poet and it becomes absolutely cracked.
Crazy slots is literally 9 abilities in one how did it get a 19 in versatility should've been at least 22 not perfect because he can't pick which he wants to use but that doesn't make it any less versatile in concept
It does. If you can't choose the optimal weapon to use in a situation it becomes a gamble. Depending on your opponent if you happen to get a bad weapon it is over. That's not versatility, that is adaptability by chance.
@@jadu-entertainment he gets the weapon he needs everytime like when he got the scythe to kill all of those ants and he got the wand because he knew he was not going to win and ging said he had an ability called “like hell I’m gonna die”. It has the power to resurrect him basically in another form as we see in the end. Crazy slot gives him what he needs even if he doesn’t like it.
Idea for a Hatsu: "Demonic Presence". The user's nen is mutated by the amount of fear within 300 miles. Specifically, the more afraid someone (else) nearby is, the stronger the mutation effect. Multiple sources of fear = additive effect. And the object of the person's fear need not be the user. The mutation is as follows: the user's nen's opacity increases; the more fear in the area, the more the nen's color (which happens to be black) becomes visible. And no, the user can't necessarily see through their own nen. Starts as a slight darkening effect, but can (eventually) become completely opaque. Alongside this, the user's nen is increased and becomes denser, again proportional to the surrounding fear in the area. It also becomes harder to control minutely. Outside this, it forms two, 3 cm, horn-like protrusions from the user's head when the user's nen mutation surpasses a certain point. Finally, it repels foreign nen that comes within 5 feet of it, with a strength that is, again, proportional to the amount of fear in the area. For example, aura blasts would probably work just fine if there weren't a lot of very scared people around. But if there was a homeless person in the area, then I would seriously suggest not throwing nen you don't want coming back in your direction at the user. Note: this ability itself does not allow the user to detect where the fear is coming from.
Nice thinking. Appreciate the fact you spoke about nen abilities, and not only character. Because some of them (Isoka, Kurapika) have more than one. :)
I would actually argue that Bodhisattva should have perfect efficiency. I can't really think of any other ability that can truly take advantage of Neteros absurd speed, and that's entirely the point. What would be a severe detriment for anyone else is just Netero using his physical abilities to their fullest
I think so too, but that'd be to Peak Netero. At his peak, his aura was strong as hell so his ability focusing on speed was good, but as he got older he can't keep the strength with speed again We see it on Netero's fight with Meruem, he's so fast Meruem can't even evade a lot of attacks, but truly lacks the strength to finish him. Thus the efficiency got lower for him (just my poit of view)
rage incarnate - pretty much Trevor's ability to be invulnerable to everything but with no regenerative ability. does that mean Trevor Phillips is a nen user? :O
Tbh I'd really like to have Texture Suprise Because I can manipulate documents and no one will find out about it since they cant remove it Imagine manipulating the lottery numbers
Wait, wasn't the lottery numbers have barcodes that should be scanned ? Can you replicate that exact barcode or QR whatever as well ? If it's possible then I can agree with you..

I was expecting to see both Killua and Meleoron: Killua: Electricity Suitability... 23 - (based on being an assassin/fighter) Massive Movement Speed, Reflexes, Offense and Defense spike. Provides Utility: pre-programmed responses to do actions without depending on reflexes. Mean of fast travel. Offensive Tool: Zap foes, Stun foes Versatility: 18 General combat enhancement is versatile and travel speed benefits are pretty versatile too. But I can't think of much more. Efficiency: 20 Requires charging and works until charge is depleted. (Which is a fair tradeoff considering the huge power spike.) This also maximize use of Aura by enhancing its limited supply outsourcing energy storing electricity. Creativity 25: Killua turned his lightning torture into an advantage, PLUS killua is doing something I haven't seen other nen User do, Killua is basically doping on electrical current energy to power up his Nen. Mixing aura and electricity. Meleoron (chameleon Ant) Suitability: 25 Become freaking undetectable. It's right there for the purpose of a chameleon and his character. Versatility: 22 Stealth in itself is extremely versatile and can synergize with a lot of other abilities, offensive, defensive, infiltration, escaping, etc. This hatsu has extreme OP combos. Specially versatile when you can share the power with someone. Efficiency: 18 applicable immediately after holding breath. In the show they can hold their breath for unreal amount of time. In real life it wouldn't be nearly as useful. Creativity: 5 not very creative, specially since it's used by a chameleon. :/
I don’t think Crazy Slots is that efficient or versatile. Isn’t it random? He also has that scythe that he can literally use one move with which is a gigantic AoE.
Although it's "random", Crazy Slots is sentient, it has a mind, and it decides which weapon Kite gets - we see it when Kite says "Bad roll" and Crazy Slots gets offended, showing it chose Kite's weapon And from the situatios we see, Crazy Slots actually choose good weapons for the battles. A kind of rifle/sniper for a solo enemy, a scythe with area attack for a lot of foes, a possibly ressurrecting wand for when Kite's gonna die... In short, Crazy Slots gives Kite the power boost of the choices not being from him (condition based nen abilities gets bonus power) while still working cause Crazy Slots won't try to get it's owner dead with a bad weapon
The greatest hatsu ability is the one called "To pin or not to pin". The user will enact their hatsu by asking the target the question "Will you pin me?", and the consequences of this ability are the following: Target pins the user: the selection of this option will have the user subscribe to the channel, thus granting them regular and succulent HxH content uploaded straight to their youtube feed. Target does not pin: the selection of this option will result in the passing of the user, and in turn causing a powerful post-mortem nen to enact, which will forever hunt down the target that caused the user's death, continuing the cycle of "To pin or not to pin" until they are eventually pinned. A most terrifying ability...

@@abishaiswadling8069 Now that I think about it... It occurs to me that with a bit of tweaking, "Tag" could actually become an appallingly good Battlefield Removal ability. What if the activation was "tagging" the person, and you could decide whether or not you followed them into the pocket dimension? And why have THEM be it? Let's say, when you decide to go back into the pocket dimension, a maze of some kind is created, with the center having a bench that is "base". You, being "it", have to tag the other guy before they reach the "base". If they reach Base before you tag them, they escape, and return to where they were before you "tagged" them. And if you tag them? Well, in that case, you get to make 3 demands of them that they MUST comply with. Then, both you and the other guy are instantly transported back where you were. The downsides? Neither of you know where each other is, unless you are within line of sight from each other, and you, the user, don't actually design the maze. Furthermore, you are dropped in random points of the maze, and are always a set distance away from the unlucky victim, and halfway across the maze from the Base. That's what I could think of for improving Cheetu's ability. Anyone else have ideas?

I have to agree that knov has by far the most practical nen ability. You never need to pay rent, you can erase any threats, and you can get away with basically anything due to the versatility of escape. Just be careful with setting up escape routes once you are in, don’t just expect to be able to leave where you entered
Leorio's remote punch. Efficiency 25 (Leorio may have one of the lowest aura reserve that we know of and yet he can generate a portal of some kind to teleport body parts). Versatility 25 (you can probably do anything from punch Ging, to rob a bank, to perform surgery, to grab your remote control from across the room...). Creativity 25 (no one else really has anything like this). Suitability 25 (presumably designed as a medical technique - loosely alluded to by Ging in manga - perfect for a doctor; but also with the use Leorio demonstrated to remotely punch someone as an attack... it's really good for someone with next to no combat ability and aura quantity to be able to do long distance attacks). And, most importantly, the infinite number of bonus points for it's ability to write Leorio back into the story :)
I think I came up with the ultimate nen ability but I don't know what category it would fall under I think it would be specialist but it might be conjurer. First ability is called 4th wall, and you activate it by breaking one of your opponents bones or one if your own, the second ability is called stranger than fiction, you pull an ability from fiction and use it. I figured this ability might end up being broken so I think the deal you would need to make in order for it to work is it can only work with things you've watched or read beginning to end, and you can only use 2 abilities a day. I'd like to hear your grade for my ability
I would argue that Aura Synthesis is less redundant than you say, sure Meruem does not necessarily need to inherit his opponents abilties, but by adding their aura to his own he increases his base aura reserves. This means Meruem would have more latent Nen at his disposal allowing him to develop more powerful/complex Nen abilities of his own design if he chose to.
Honestly, if rapidly evolving gungi skills could be used for anything other than gungi like increasing intelligence in general it would probably be the best ability.
Wow i used to think Knov's hide and seek is one the best nen abilities there is too , great video btw , i love how you never get tired of going through HxH data for the sake of RUclips sport xd
Manipulators have so much potential to be incredibly versitile and overpowered, yet almost all of them just control their foes or a puppet than do something similar to what morel does. Which is not every versitile and makes you predictable.
Really great list. I feel 2 that could be added are Knuckle's, since essentially if you just bide your time, you always win, even against opponents that are technically stronger than you (minus youpie), and potentially Chrollo/the fortune telling daughter's ability. If you play it smart, you can always escape any negative situation.

Yeah, I agree. 22 or 23 at the absolute worst. Way more versatile than a 20 though.

Its crazy how within Togashi's world there are rules and limitations holding back Morel with his powers and yet he is significantly more versatile and imaginative with it than the comparatively unencumbered Smoker in One Piece
Smoker is fodder who sucks at using his DF. People seriously believe that he is going to be Luffy's version of Garp when he got clapped by Vergo.
Well, Smoker can only turn into smoke, he can't actually use it like Morel does cause it's a logia type
Definitely seeing him being a rival to Luffy in the future.

glad to see Kurapika near the top because when he revealed the full scope of his ability to kill Uvogin i literally jumped off the couch and cheered
just imagine if kurapika's nen ability doesn't have restrictions he could be invincible and very powerful..
That wasn't even his final form, I mean it is for emperor time but his chains can also steal abilities and let him use them (once) and even let others use the stolen abilities
There's really no end to "if you just shorten your lifespan you can do anything and everything" Mary sue nonsense
Oh yes and he can use that and emperor time in general vs non spiders and ability stealing prevents the original user from using it which is just almost as good as the forced zetsu chains
And he can tell if people lie now with his chain without forcing them into telling the truth by chaining their hearts
So... just bs Mary sue "I can do whatever the f I want when I want and if I can't I'll decide I have yet another ability"
"I use emperor time to instantly heal, instantly charge electricity, instantly get comparable strength to Uvo, increase my speed to Netero level or above it and.. force zetsu cause lul" - that would be how it goes on Killua, would it still be acceptable to you? come on.
Remember - the entire battle against the royal guards took barely any time and killua charged with electricity was able to make a full out of Youpi (until he ran out)
Meaning Killua trading say...
Really nothing Kurapika has been doing is making any sense, he devolved into 'well I need him to die, guess I'll just make him incredibly careless and also incredibly overpowered to make sure the spiders die, need me some dead spiders too'
His abilities used to have an actual drawback, they literally don't have that anymore (unless we consider the user constantly running into traffic a drawback..)
Speaking of running into traffic, man sure would be funny if Gon instead of the whole giving up his whole future thing was like 'I am going to give up I guess 2 hours per second' so he'd spend like a week of his life to kill pitou and he'd be able to reattach his own arm, no AI needed.
Man if only he managed to think about that what a shame.
@@blueplayer6197 lol you’re so upset but don’t act like kurapika is op when everyone else’s abilities are insanely powered as well

- Nanika = Omnipotent
- Meruem = infinite nen growth
- hatsu stealing hatsus = infinite potential of stocking hatsus
- nen abilities with restrictions that exponentially improve them but the restrictions are actually almost non existent despite they improving the abilities so much
Almost all this information is wrong lol
1) omnipotence means nothing at all, even meruem is stated to be omnipotent
2) infinite nen growth, doesn't really mean anything since in theory every character has infinite nen growth, by improving abilities or creating new ones to master, and if you're talking about raw aura quantity there's no evidence supporting that claim
3) same as answer 2
4) what does this even mean?
@filipe_paixao
1) omnipotence doesn't exist, even if it did, she bound to conditions, which completely contradicts the concept of omnipotence
2 & 3 idc that much since they aren't super important
4) manipulating nen conditions/ rules ≠ manipulating a characters personality or vice Versa.
@filipe_paixao look this is the last time I'm saying this, omnipotence means nothing, since it's already been debunked
Jumper?
@@NM-ev7pu never seen it
Hide and Seek (and portals in general) comes with the advantage of being able to look through the other end before fully exiting.
Honestly I felt Knuckles ability combined with chameleon was pretty powerful.
Alluka is definitely the most powerful

Also, for those who will undoubtedly say that I have no life for writing this rant, I do, it just happens to be late at night on the first day of spring break, and I feel particularly driven when it comes to this subject :D
he's not that good at making it into electricity, if he could make more electricity or make it more powerful it defintly would be high on this list
i definitely was expecting him to mention killua, im shocked that he didn’t. you’re right as hell about all that
@@fitzparker7913 ohh, so it's more that he's not efficient when he makes the electricity that it doesn't work well, which would make sense seeing as his only ability to understand it's true nature would be through feeling it in his own body, which, while it would work to an extent as far as his research into creating it with Nen, it's not a good enough copy of real electricity, and thus is only partially compatible, decreasing it's ability to function as effectively as it could.

When I think about it, Aura Synthesis doesn’t just allow Meruem to absorb his opponent’s aura and add it to its own after devouring them. It rather makes him capable of using their abilities as well. Most people would say something like 100 type guanjin borisatva ( Netero's ability ) the problem is netero is the only one who could effectively use it the ability itself kinda sucks
That's what one's hatsu should be like
@@harsh_1910 While true, it does do a number on the efficiency of the ability. Either way, still pretty cool.
Nice underrated pick. He was the coolest besides melody in that crew

Hisoka 😳
I did this when Hisoka was up there
Idea for a Hatsu: "Demonic Presence".
Why did you put Hisoka in that slideshow
I’ve never been so shocked, since I heard that bungee gum was a combination of rubber and gum😂
Nice thinking. Appreciate the fact you spoke about nen abilities, and not only character. Because some of them (Isoka, Kurapika) have more than one. :)
I tried to concentrate on the explanation but the Hisoka cam drew all my attention. Howza!
At his peak, his aura was strong as hell so his ability focusing on speed was good, but as he got older he can't keep the strength with speed again
We see it on Netero's fight with Meruem, he's so fast Meruem can't even evade a lot of attacks, but truly lacks the strength to finish him. Thus the efficiency got lower for him (just my poit of view)
This channel's ability to stretch Hunter X Hunter content to its fullest extent given the loooooooooooooooooong hiatus is the best nen ability imo
rage incarnate - pretty much Trevor's ability to be invulnerable to everything but with no regenerative ability.
does that mean Trevor Phillips is a nen user? :O
And michael has the ability to -s-l-o-w- stop time does that mean he has a stand called [ The World ] ???
@@MufasaSama You though it was some guy from another anime, BUT IT WAS ME!! DIO!!!!

@@user-fq3lk5se6p exactly hisoka def has the most convenient nen abilities

Can you replicate that exact barcode or QR whatever as well ?
If it's possible then I can agree with you..
@@KingVictor7 it all depends on the nen user so technically you could make it possible
@@xhale671 Ah I see.. 👍🏼
i remember on my childhood memories, we are so amazed at kurapika's nen abilities. the hype is all over our village that even my brothers and their friends that time, making up chains accessories as if they are kurapika. 😁 miss those times, so excited to go home watching hxh
Knuckle's chapter 7 should have got some recognition in my opinion a very simple powerful ability that allows Knuckle to fight completely on his own terms.
But it is not efficient.
Knuckles fight with Youpi shows how his ability can be a liability
Godspeed/Whirlwind should be an easy top 5 IMO.
Kite’s and Bonolenov’s are definitely two of my favorites. Contagion is insanely cool but Phink’s ability might be my favorite of all time second to crazy slots
Sameeee I love kite’s ability sm I wish we got to see more of it
Internet: *Looks at Texture Suprise* This is brilliant
Internet: *Looks at Bungee Gum* But I like this
Of course you don't need to explain Bungee Gum. We all know it has the properties of plastic and wood.... Wait something's wrong there.
I liked how you used a Yu-Gi-Oh trap card and Inspector Gadget as easter eggs lol.
Bro. did you get my message about explaining the raking system Hisoka was doing at the time the hunters were voting for a new Chairman?
He was using numbers
Also just realize that Machi's technique is just a more advance, faster version of Pitou's Doctor Blythe
Machis ability does not turn her into a whole doctor tho, she can create threads and use them super fast but it doesn't grant her the skill or knowledge to treat any wound, meanwhile Dr Blythe can heal anything with enough time.
@@Qsrjeiwjwj You do realize you still need to have advance medical skills to reattach a whole hand down to every vain, bone, artery and skin back to that person's arm right?
@@Qsrjeiwjwj nigga did u just say machi doesn't have medical knowledge when she literally reattached someones arm in mere seconds even allowing them to move it once the process was finished while it took doctor blythe an hour even though it pitou stated she needed more time and even when the process was finished it took komugi a moment to get up? I was expecting to see both Killua and Meleoron:
Killua: Electricity
Suitability... 23 - (based on being an assassin/fighter)
Massive Movement Speed, Reflexes, Offense and Defense spike. Provides Utility: pre-programmed responses to do actions without depending on reflexes. Mean of fast travel.
Offensive Tool: Zap foes, Stun foes
Versatility: 18
General combat enhancement is versatile and travel speed benefits are pretty versatile too.
Meleoron (chameleon Ant)
Suitability: 25
Become freaking undetectable.
This man has a channel with 210k from Hunter x Hunter please continue the series 😭
I don’t think Crazy Slots is that efficient or versatile. Isn’t it random? He also has that scythe that he can literally use one move with which is a gigantic AoE.
Although it's "random", Crazy Slots is sentient, it has a mind, and it decides which weapon Kite gets - we see it when Kite says "Bad roll" and Crazy Slots gets offended, showing it chose Kite's weapon
And from the situatios we see, Crazy Slots actually choose good weapons for the battles.
The user will enact their hatsu by asking the target the question "Will you pin me?", and the consequences of this ability are the following:
Target pins the user: the selection of this option will have the user subscribe to the channel, thus granting them regular and succulent HxH content uploaded straight to their youtube feed.
The Hisoka pics took me by surprise
Anybody else think of "Benjamin Button" when he mentions Benjamin baton?
'Chain-Set' is wrong to Judge as 1 Thing.
It's clearly 5 Hatsu, adding up to Kurapika having 7, which seems to be, by all means, his Limit. He seems to have the Highest Nen-Memory we saw till now (that's a Zodiac for ya) with 7.
But i think many Fans dont even remember what Nen-Memory is and NWR has not covered it yet, unfortunately.
I am intrigued by Hisokas marking scheme.. He gave 70-80 to the zodiac member and 95 to illumi.
Was he guaging them based on his power being 100, i wonder..
Have you ever thought of making up theoretical duels between characters to see who is most likely to win, using what information you know about them? For example, if Illumi was to fight Knov, who might win? Just a fun idea. Idk. I never get tired of the HxH content.🤍
[insert bungee gum meme here]
but yeah its pretty good
I HOPE YOUR CHANNEL GETS MORE RECOGNITION FROM THE FAN BASE BECAUSE YOU'VE BEEN DOING HXH REVIEWS EVEN BEFORE THE HIATUS ENDED!!! CONGRATS MY GUY!
When you finish with nen I would like to see a ranking of jojo stands in this format
The best ones are totally obvious though like of course the ones that can literally manipulate time and reality to the users will are gonna top the leaderboards
@@Alex-kc7tp What about The Hand? Or Cream?

You know for thr type of show this is you really wouldn't expect #20 to appear... But I agree also the user is the only one to beat the ant king in a fair match so there is that i guess
Hi. My name is Joe and I love Hunter x Hunter. I’m going on 2.5 years clean of a HxH chapter. Everyday is a struggle, but this HxH Anonymous group is getting me through the lows.
i really hope i see cheetus tag world cause that was a super good nen ability!!!

Super good ability really bad user... He could have had so much more if he just used his brain a little >.>
@@jonathannorthcutt4132 no it’s not that comment is ironic but
@@abishaiswadling8069 Now that I think about it...
Man...this list is really good! I never thought of those abilities this way. good job! I would add some other abilities and maybe play with the order, but without any specific reason other than battle convenience. So I can't really argue ur list. Thanks for the video
Only REAL men can pay attention and look at the HxH ladies at the same time
Edit:....annnd Hisoka-
2:33 the fact that an image of hisoka snuck between the images of "Hunter X Hunter ladies" just proves to show that bungee gum has the properties of both rubber and gum
i was supposed to look at hxh ''ladies'' wtf is hisoka doing down there
I have to agree that knov has by far the most practical nen ability. You never need to pay rent, you can erase any threats, and you can get away with basically anything due to the versatility of escape. Just be careful with setting up escape routes once you are in, don’t just expect to be able to leave where you entered
I just found something out!!
Bungee gum has the both the properties of rubber and gum
The teleport storage thingy and the massage thingy is the most perfect ability for anyone
The contagion nen ability sounds super interesting. Is there a video that expands upon their requirements?
Not yet; but we can talk as Fans about it. Interested?
2:21 omg machi step on every single inch of my body
I want to see hisoka fight morel. Bungee gum vs deep purple is such an interesting idea
This video was so good that it almost made me forget the fact that bungee gum possess the properties of both rubber and gum
Kurapika looks like a genius when u look at this list.. I mean he guarantee himself to be able to beat at least eight people regardless..
Great list! Only thing missing IMO would be Prince Tserriednich but there's still alot we don't know about it so its hard to rank
If you trust the implications about Nanika, she then would be the first non-human being aside from the chimera ants that is capable of using Nen.
Wow i used to think Knov's hide and seek is one the best nen abilities there is too , great video btw , i love how you never get tired of going through HxH data for the sake of RUclips sport xd

Sometimes it takes a real man to be best girl
Lol that made me chuckle
Rivaled only by Robert E. O. Speedwagon.
Manipulators have so much potential to be incredibly versitile and overpowered, yet almost all of them just control their foes or a puppet than do something similar to what morel does. Which is not every versitile and makes you predictable.
Imagine having the Nen ability to summon a waifu for massage and happy endings.
I would argue that Biscuits magcial spar service hast a lot more "Versatility". You just dont have to be the person getting the massage u know...
To quote other commenters:
I believe it’s criminal how few people have made “My own Hatsu” videos, please make 1.
*We all know kurapika is gonna be in here*
Really great list.
I feel 2 that could be added are Knuckle's, since essentially if you just bide your time, you always win, even against opponents that are technically stronger than you (minus youpie), and potentially Chrollo/the fortune telling daughter's ability. If you play it smart, you can always escape any negative situation.
