I've seen a few Lux and Ahsoka edits, and I feel like everyone takes that clip where he smiles at Ahsoka on one of those pterodactyl things out of context. He smiled at her because Steela just gave him a kiss "just in case". Not because he likes her in that way. Also that was sad because Steela said just in case in a joking way, but she really did never get another chance.... It's sad to think about...
And yet when Anakin Skywalker - third most powerful Jedi in the Order and Ahsoka’s teacher - was in this situation in Season 6...somehow he forgot he could use the Force to lift *both* Padme and Clovis. Hmmmm....
You saw that Ahsoka needed to maintain her concentration to save Steela. If Anakin had tried that, he would have to divide his focus to save them both, and he wasn't going to risk Padme's life.
I remember remember binge watching the onderon ark the day this episode came out saving this episode for last. At the end when I saw Ahsoka get shot i was like "what no you cant die yet" then she gets up and was like "oh your alive good but Steela noo" I was pretty messed up from this scene for a few days till the following wedsday Disney aquiered star wars. Nooooooooooooooo Its these kinds of twisted drama that so far in rebels is severely lacking. and its not that the showmakers are incapable its being made by the same people. its just that i dont think their allowed to on rebels because disney XD has stricter guidelines in violence compared to cartoonetwork.
Peter Hortensius yeah I agree. I can't tell you how mad I am still Disney doesn't give us season 7/8. I'm not even asking for the 2nd half of season 6. Seeing no hoe Disney ignores all he prequels at least give us like 14 episodes for both season 7/8
Saw was idiot that he made Tech sacrifice himself on purpose, Cody gonna be really mad at him in The clone rebellion/cody series (Between the bad batch seasons).
Come to think of it, this is the same Saw who blew up the factory in the finale. Him shooting the gunship and blowing up that factory caused both situations. From that point of view, Saw caused the deaths of both Steela and Tech.
The worst thing about TCW is that all the the victories, the heroism, the sacrifices...it doesn't matter in the end. Everyone ends up oppressed. The clones lose their free will. And it's all because of Anakin
That's what makes Star Wars a tragedy. And it's also a reality that not all revolutions and battles for victory succeed. Look at Iran: they once had a revolution to get rid of Western influence, and now their children and grandchildren want freedom.
She’s definitely a major character, but the focus is still Anakin. 80% of the plots in the series revolve around him in some way shape or form. Even ones that don’t seem to focus on him, like the Rako Hardeen ark are actually all about his turn to the dark side. Even Ahsoka leaving the order, while being about her, ultimately exists to show why Anakin despises the Jedi council as much as he does. He’s the main character of Star Wars.
Master Chief Petty Officer I think building up the character of Ahsoka showed just how important Anakin’s relationships were and how the big moments further pushed him down a darker path.
Feel like Anakin or someone more experienced would have either sensed the shot coming and dodged or would have already brought her up with the force. You can see Ashoka struggling with lifting her
It's interesting how Ahsoka doesn't care about what happened between Lux and Steela which hurt her feelings bad, but now the jedi even tried to save Steela.
1:48 How did she get so far from the edge of the cliff? she should be way closer, in fact, she should already be safe. 1:55 Aren't thoses things like tanks? How come Asohka shoulder didn't explode?
+Will M (Acclimate) Sadly both her and the rest of the characters introduced in this arc (including Lux) were flat, one-dimensional, and not believable. What's even more aggravating is that when Lux and his mother were introduced they never even mention that the planet Ahsoka and Padme were in was Onderon, which detracting the continuity of this episode and the arc as a whole. I honestly think this arc was by far the weakest four part story arcs in the entire show.
Simple, to symbolize the idea of "a movement living on without its leader" that "the body will not die with the head cut off". In short, it was a cliche choice and Lux would've been a better casualty.
Not gonna lie, I was genuinely shocked when she died. Let alone seeing someone fall to their death in this show is rare

At the end when I saw Ahsoka get shot i was like "what no you cant die yet" then she gets up and was like "oh your alive good but Steela noo" I was pretty messed up from this scene for a few days till the following wedsday Disney aquiered star wars. Nooooooooooooooo
Its these kinds of twisted drama that so far in rebels is severely lacking. and its not that the showmakers are incapable its being made by the same people. its just that i dont think their allowed to on rebels because disney XD has stricter guidelines in violence compared to cartoonetwork.
Peter Hortensius yeah I agree. I can't tell you how mad I am still Disney doesn't give us season 7/8. I'm not even asking for the 2nd half of season 6. Seeing no hoe Disney ignores all he prequels at least give us like 14 episodes for both season 7/8
it's funny seeing people talk about rebels not killing people before the last two seasons came out lol
From that point of view, Saw caused the deaths of both Steela and Tech.
resteroni in spaghetti
The event that hardens Saw
Best scene in the clone wars (because she died)
"Sector is clear"
lol
If she can walk past a guard who literally died for the king and don’t care , she got no remorse from me
I saw that. The guy dies, and we see his lifeless body hit the dirt. Did the bullet ricochet off the droid thing and kill the soldier?
This was 1 of the saddest Clone Wars deaths & Saw Gorrera was left traumatised by this in Rebels

the
Queen.
I have never been more happy to see one die
I wish it was Saw instead of her.
@jasonfunk2631 saws rebellion in jedha have got good armours tho.....
Saw: HELL YEAH I DID THAT!
Also Saw: OH NO I DID THAT
the grandpa walk everyday I'm shuffling
Can we speak about the kings guards? They being shot by the comando droids and everyone is just ignoring them.
They should have the changed the name of this from Clones Wars, to the Saga of Ahoska
ShinobiPXO Hey that’s not bad it could be the name of a Star Wars trilogy based on Ashoka
I can't be the only one who calls her steels tequila
XD
I never thought of that. A plus for creativity lol :)
Omg Lux he loved Steela so much! Just look at his face!! So much pain 💔
2:07 What's the name of the soundtrack?
Damn how did ashoka even survive that
1:48 How did she get so far from the edge of the cliff? she should be way closer, in fact, she should already be safe.
1:55 Aren't thoses things like tanks? How come Asohka shoulder didn't explode?
😭😭😭😱😱😱😭😭😭R.I.P...GoodRebellGirl Styla..
This was actually pretty dark for a kids show
Kids show? Ah yes. A kids show with slavery, death, drugs, and genocide. Totally perfect for kids to see!
@@JeffBauer-e1j lol it’s a kids show. u gonna cry?
@@michaelsquid3718 I am just saying, not crying-
@@JeffBauer-e1j Don’t forget the war crimes, rape, terrorism, and religious cults
@@michaelsquid3718 it's PG, not a kids show. Please don't embarrass yourself.
so now we know what happens to the rest of this camp
I don't understand why they killed off Steela. She was such a dynamic character and she had so much potential!
Steela's scream was haunting
1:57 I heard the same scream in Frozen 2
Vormir, Endgame 2019 animated
All this time when the jedi could have saved people but decided to stand there and do nothing for dramatic effect
1:03 I wouldn't like to be in Steela's position because I'm afraid of heights
That gunship was a damn boss
01:06 That girl had died twice?
and now she's alive
Yeah he really got sloppy with reusing her face
A shocking loss.
She was shot from behind the more logical would be for Ashoka to fall forward together with the girl and not behind
Imagine if that blaster bolt did its job and actually BLASTED through Ahsoka? wouldn't be as cool as it was today :(
I'm sure the Jedi have a spare arm or two laying about😅
I mean it did go through her, you can see the wound exit from the other side
Why didn't she just whistle and call her bird? She could've been saved
