This was just a simple debate where two men just discussed their different approaches to different aspects in life. No anger, no name calling. These two should've been the presidential nominees
It was a very respectful debate with two very respectable vp choices, although I do believe that walz would not stand a chance against other democratic candidates in a primary, while Vance will, I believe, become the republican presidential candidate for 2028.
Just cause certain candidates can act professional during a debates, does not mean their fit or capable to run the country. We’ve seen it before many times, we call those candidates “all talk, but no action”.
They like each other just fine. They’re just on opposite sides of the business at the moment. The thing to remember is, at the end of the day, it’s just a job like any other. They introduce their families to each other and they shake hands and commend each other. They’re both decent people.

U cut it off Vance did say immigrants are not to blame for higher prices but he also said it’s not fair that American citizens have to compete with illegal immigrants for homes and that’s why the prices are so high because there’s millions of more people in America with immigrants over here
Trump's biggest problem is his character as despite the first Republican popular vote win in 20 years it was still a narrow margin although the narrow popular vote win was helped with Democrats too confident Harris would win due to his character (especially New York and New Jersey with the significantly smaller Harris win than Biden) and didn't feel the need to vote + more of them were getting tired of Biden. It was similar in 2022 when Republicans were too confident + Roe Vs Wade overturned working against them

The sad thing is Biden still thinks he's the same guy in 2008 (when 66) where in his VP debate he made a clear appeal to the middle class knowing the taxes for them weren't fair (too high for relative to salary) unlike the upper class who got away with paying too little to what they can afford and still be rich
