They're sort of like cops in that regard. My gf recently stayed two nights at an AirBNB. Everything went smoothly and she was considering using them again. Until they tried to charge her $250 for smoking pot in the room. The thing is she doesn't smoke and it was clearly just a way to try to scam money by a disgusting degenerate criminal.

If you only corrected your mistake because you didn't like the consequences for it rather than acknowledging and understanding why what you did was bad to begin with, then that still doesn't make you a good person. I think Dottie is overreacting a little, but Lois stole a huge thing of shampoo and deflected and lied about it. Instead of just mailing the shampoo back, Lois drove several hours out of her way to return it, just in an attempt to look like the better person
