    Hi! Pipe Tag, fractional inches without the " symbol. Is there a way to make a pipe tag show 1 1/4 no 1 1/4" ??

      Hi Oscar. You can do many things (change units, suppress trailing ceros, etc.), but I don't think you can do that. Good luck though!

    When making these tags would you have to make repeat this process for different years of revit? FYI I’m new to revit

      Tom. What you want to do is pick an "older version" to create your families on.
      For example, if your oldest project is in 2019, you create all your families in 2019. Then whenever you have a newer project, say in 2021, you simply dump your family into that project (it will upgrade to 2021 for the purpose of that project), but your original family will remain in 2019.

    I followed the video and it didn't work, seemed simple enough, I added the abbreviation to my pipin g system?

    • @bimitup
      @bimitup  2 года назад +1

      Make sure you check the following:
      1. The system you are trying to tag is in fact the system you provided abbreviation for
      2. You have pipe tags turned on on your view
      3. You have the tag lable calling for the right parameter.
      Can you see standard tag with sizes? Try to label another parameter (e.g. length) to ensure that at least it is reading the pipe well.
      Good luck
