We recently spent 4 nights in Tuscany where we visited 3 hilltop towns: montepulciano, montalcino, and pienza. Fascinating towns with beautiful views of the countryside. The “rolling hills” of Tuscany have new meaning for me now that I have driven through the countryside. However, I also found the photo radar to be very frustrating.
@@TravelAddictsLife Thank you! We are booked for 3 nights at a hotel in Florence and was just thinking of joining a wine tour for the day, but now wondering if we should do 2 nights in Florence and 2 nights in the countryside and rent a car to go to wineries and towns like San Gimignano. What do you think? Where’s a good home base where we can rent a car? Thank you and love your channel which I’m binge watching right now.
If wine tasting is important to you, I’d consider making Siena your home base. It’ll be close to all the wine areas, Chianti and Montalcino are very close. As is San Gimignano!
@@RickOrford Yes, my husband and I love wine! After Tuscany, we are heading to Bologna for more food and wine (2 things you love, as I can see in your videos)!
Hi. Great video on wines. What sweet wine would u recommend? I don't like dry wine. I luv very sweet wine. Also, do u have any video on hot springs that u can recommend. Thanks Slim
Hello Slim, thank you for your comment, in Tuscany they have a delicious sweet wine called Vin Santo that you can try! We will do a video about hot springs soon 👍🏻
You guys are fantastic and you honor Italy more than our politicians dedicated to this do, and more than most Italian tour entrepreneurs do. If you love wine and cuisine and food and wine tours, I must absolutely recommend the offer of Trentino and Veneto !! At the level of updating and quality of the high-level tourist offer, they are at the forefront. With a much younger food and wine history than much of Italy, they are surpassing many landmarks in the center-south. Trentino has created one of the best EVO oils in the world and with the northernmost olive groves on the planet .. Garda oil. And from nothing he created the best grain of the Grana Padano, almost on par with Parmigiano Reggiano .. The Trentingrana. Go to Trentino and Veneto for the wine I recommend !! @@TravelAddictsLife
We plan on staying in both areas but since Italy has a zero alcohol policy besides a tour bus which won't go to the really unique wineries, how do you handle this?

We are glad you enjoyed Tuscany and you are right the speed radars are a bit annoying
Hello guy’s. Great tour. We were there in May this year and loved it. Brunella just happens to be my favorite as well.
Thank you Jeffrey 😍
We were fortunate to stay at the Banfi vineyard a few years ago. Loved visiting Sienna , Pienza etc. We plan on visiting Tuscany again soon
It is an amazing area 😊
Hello there from Philippines
Hello 👋🏻
That was a fun video. Thank you for sharing it. Tuscany is very beautiful.
Thank you so much 😊
Really loved this video (well, all your videos). If just visiting the cities, how do you find the best wines?
Thank you so much. There are wine stores in every city, most of them have wine tasting and they can suggest you some of their best wines.
Thank you for sharing it, in what season do you recommend to drive around Tuscany?
We would recommend spring or fall, we went at the end of October and it was fabulous
Travel.what a awesome ,😍
Thank you 🙏
So happy I found your channel! We are going to Italy in June. Do we need to make reservations for the wine tastings and tours? Thank you.
It is better if you do because they get busy in June

If you had to choose 3 vineyards in the Chianti or Montecino area-which are your choices?
Thank you
We really loved Ciacci Piccolomini in Montalcino, Ricasoli and Frescobaldi in Chianti
