  • On Sunday the 12th of May 2024, the RPSI ran their "Cu Chulainn" tour, which ran from Dublin Connolly - Dundalk and back, with one local trip from Dundalk - Drogheda and back.
No. 131 was originally intended to work the tour, but as a precaution after what happened on the Rosslare Line a few weeks ago, 071 Class Loco number 082 was put in charge instead.
In this video, we will see the tour at the following locations:
    Laytown
    Drogheda
    Skerries
First, we see 082 passing Laytown running from Connolly - Dundalk.
Next we see 082 arriving at Drogheda coming off the local trip from Dundalk.
We then see 082 running around the Cravens.
082 then couples back up to the Cravens before heading back to Dundalk.
082 then departs en route for Dundalk.
And finally, we see 082 thrashing through Skerries on her way back to Connolly (turn up your volume for this one).
