This episode got intense... But please remember, all of the roleplay in the episode was consented to by all parties involved. Betrayal and broken trust is a major part of this narrative. We all had fun with the overwhelming amount of angst. Please don't be weird because of in-character actions. Thanks guys, see you in the next one.
I think perhaps the most important thing that we all remember is that every amazing thing that Pigeon did on this long stressful night he did in his pajamas.
Crispy: Says the episode is crazy intense in the pin. Me: Doesn’t believe. Episode (Spoilers): Clio is coerced by her abusive mother into torturing a traumatized girl and forcing her to go back to her own abuser. Clio promises to make up for it by helping the girl commit su***de. Oh. My. God. Brilliant RP from everyone. MVP to Crispy and Fall.
"Pigeon, not everyone can be saved." "Haven't met one so far." "Pigeon, it will kill you." "I hasn't so far." Pigeon was by far at his most badass here. Such lovable guy and well played. He is easily the heart of this party, heck even of the entire campaign. In general I really enjoyed the party dynamic, where Pigeon seemed to keep everyone grounded. Alcair, hidden beneath a somewhat rough exterior, has a heart of gold and Red, for all his flaws, is a good detective and capable. It took the longest for Clio to grow on me, but she did, which made this part hurt. Still have roughly 20 minutes to watch, I don't know yet whether she makes it, but damn. Her betrayal was understandable, but it was still sad to see. Especially since there could've been a path, where she and Yumi grow a little closer. This campaign has been very interesting to follow this far, especially whenever Crispy gets really giddy. It's clear you folks have fun playing this, which makes it a joy to watch. Looking forward for some more. :)
Damn! These women's wrongs are fantastic! This episode did not go how I thought it would Minor Spoiler Small detail, but I love the amount of attention the dress has gotten. It's not a main focus, but I saw the dress as not just a gift but a gesture of recognition from Clio. Like, despite Clio's reservations, she saw Yumi as a person that's had it rough. The way Yumi throws the dress at Clio after what she did was awesome. She's done trying to come to an understanding through their parallels.
Whooo boy, betrayal indeed. Honestly, this was a really hard one to sit through, but I'm really glad I did. Too often senarios like that get drawn out over multiple sessions in other ttrpg streams, and it's just not fun to sit through. Here, though, it was promptly addressed in the same session, had urgency and stakes that kept me invested, and didn't overstay its welcome. Nice job overall everyone 👍🏽 Also Pigeon fucking mvp lol
omg this one actually had me dying laughing. God I love pigeon and his dynamic with the rest of the party so godamn much. edit: Ive rarely felt so many emotions at once- what the fjuck...
Bruh. She’s a scared victim who’s just trying to survive. What did you expect? She’d gleefully go back to her abuser after clio tricked her and tried to torture her into it?
@@RaptorRocka nah, my biggest issue is not what she did - everyone's gotta do certain things to survive. My issue is the hypocrisy: acting like she's got some moral high ground over Clio when it was Yumi who initially lied to the party and tried to use them for her own gain. She was so upset that Clio didn't trust her in the beginning - and it turned out Clio was completely justified in that! Plus, Yumi tried to trick them for totally selfish reasons, whereas Clio's "betrayal" was a reaction to a fucked-up situation Yumi brought them into and trying to protect her teammates
@@orangegoddess631 Hey I came back here after the finale. Don't know if you kept on watching but crispy and fall actually have a scene that addresses the flaws with both characters.
So, the badass anti-villain that never shows his face is just some random gay guy that commits crimes to fund his lover's charity gigs and their unnaturally chipper adopted child? That's kind of a letdown. They were supposed to be meeting with Mr. Mask, not Mr. Post-Modern American Dream. It's always cool when the heroes have to work with someone powerful and mysterious that they don't know if they can completely trust, but having it turn out to be a PC Ned Flanders just makes me hope against hope that they kill the pathetic faker so there's one less unknown element to deal with when they fight the real badass villain.

Pigeon: *Exists*
Red: I'm your dad now
“Your not going die alone either.” Hit hard.
1:25:51 drunk Pigeon is everything I never knew I needed
Clio’s mom clearly invented Gaslight Gatekeeper Girlboss.
Pigeon was already my favorite, this just locked him in.
Pigeon, true king
“Chad Pigeon” cracked me up
Probably one of my favorite episodes so far, this got so heated and I really love how it turned out

"What is this are you broken?" 1:41:26
Was that a quote from God of War: Ragnarok? :D
The dynamic here is VERY similar.
"Her implants shouldn't be an issue" I've heard that before
With Song it was the Blackwell that saved her.
With Yumi, it’s just sheer will to push through the damage geas was doing.
That was intense!
Great episode! 😭❤️
Watch this till the end !! Trying to catch up
Next episode gets crazy, hope you enjoy!
"BETRAYAL"
Youngish = mid 30s... Bless you crispy
ugh, I hate Yumi so much! the hypocrisy of her

@@RaptorRocka yeah, finally got to watch it as well, there were some great scenes there between the two!
