In this video we're travelling from Melbourne to Perisher, Australia to snowboarding for two weeks. Perisher, Australia has been one of the places in the southern hemisphere that I've wanted to snowboard in for years. It's not well now but Australia has massive snow fields that is great for snowboarding. The road trip to the snow was one of the best drives of my life with incredible wildlife and scenery along the way. When we finally arrived at Perisher my expectations were exceeded by the the terrain park and off piste snowboarding. Thanks to Danny, Lucy and Gwen for showing us around on our first day of snowboarding down under!

Thats so cool that you boys came to Australia to board. I watched so many of your videos before i went snowboarding last year for the first time and they really helped me know what to expect before i got on the snow. Ive been to Japan and Thredbo 5 times since. Glad you enjoyed the Aussie slush haha we had an amazing August and lots of dumps and powder days, you probably missed the best by a couple of weeks.

my favourite place in the world! here every year at least once or twice, went to Thredbo this year as well as Perisher! definitely recommend Thredbo for those sick long runs, but Perisher is still my fav :) maybe ride Blue Cow? hope you guys enjoy your stay! Aus loves you

You're at my "home" mountain! Your videos have helped me so much with learning how to snowboard over the last three seasons. Definitely head over to Guthega while you are at Perisher. They have the best tree runs you'll find on the resort and you have a pretty good chance of seeing a wombat over there too!

lucysluckyday Absolutely, we’d love to have you! I find our intermediate runs are easier than the ones I’ve done overseas, but definitely more icy. Need to be careful very early on if you’re not comfortable with ice on runs.

fh kind Australia only gets 'lasting' snow on its highest peaks and it's Spring at the moment and becoming quite warm.
Just realized i made my own appearance in this 🤣 competed on a harder version of that snowboard cross course the day before
