+Frank Cortez Thanks Frank. I think I'll publish a practise video with all types of different message types sequentially, to help operators learn off-air. What do you think?
I too worry about the same thing with my channel! However, there is no doubt in my mind that you will always find something interesting to show us, and keep us coming back!
This is really helpful. One thing I was not clear on - the interface between the hand-held and the android device. Is this info on another video? Thanks
+glprivett thanks. I've got that questions a few times so I made a blog about it. For full rx & tx there are two options. I'm using a DIY table from OSH Park but there's also a cable from BTech. All the info and links right here www.survivaltechnology.net/nbems-data-aprs-cables-for-android-trrs-baofeng-ht/
Great video, I know it's older, but I'm curious how you had the Baofeng connected to a the smartphone? I've been working on this for my group because I want the ability to use digital modes in the field to send template forms and possibly pictures. Most of my group is still learning the importance of comms and also the need to keep transmissions as short as possible. Needless to say they all still only have Baofengs. I bought a cable to connect my phone to my baofeng, but it doesn't work. I've also been looking at the Easy-Digi interface since it should solve the issue the cable didn't, do you have any other suggestions?
Decoded both messages on Galaxy S7.
Thanks for the learning videos. Increasingly more difficult to find no nonsense ham radio videos.

Good job on the video. I'm new to all of this. What frequencies do you use with the Baofeng UV5R and AndFLmsg? Thank you. Ernest Bazzinotti KC1LKB

+James Bridges You're welcome James. Thanks for watching.
Could I do this with two analog mobile radios?
Latest version of this app is a disaster. It keeps closing down after sending, any advice is appreciated, thanks.
