- This is a video of all the secrets and unlockables in Sonic Adventure DX.

Unlockables:

Mini games: Collect a certain amount of emblems to get a certain mini game.
Metal Sonic: To unlock Metal Sonic you must acquire all emblems in the game.
To unlock Super Sonic: Beat every character's story line besides his,
That's pretty much it.. Subscribe.
Since nobody has said anything recently,
Amy Rose has an additional power-up, the Long-Hammer, which you can get by playing the Eggman whack-a-sonic minigame and scoring over 3,000 points
And E-102 has the Laser Blaster upgrade which can be found in the room opposite of where you obtained the Jet Booster. However, the room will be filled with water if you enter in Sky Deck mode

What I loved about this game, is that I practically played 10 years of Sonic history in a single disc.

Metal Sonic uses Sonic's Base. That's why he runs. But I guess he gets his own base in SA2B. Oh well. I know this vid is about 4 years old so you don't have to reply to this. xP
Also, It is possible to get Amy's Long Hammer upgrade by beating your second high score in the Hedgehog hammer challenge, but the only effect is better reach. =/

big gets a different rod somewhere in the game, amy gets a bigger hammer if you get a high score in the hedgehog hammer game
If you get 2000 on your first playthrough the hammer 🔨 game it means you only need 3000 when you go back to it in game, makes it a lot easier
only the minigames you unlock in mission mode if you do the final mission you will have two minigames not emeblems in fact metal sonic be unlocked after you collect 130 emeblems and the mission you will unlock when you finish one of the characters story so there is nothing to do anymore the game expect you restar new file and doing all again
i have sonic adventure DX on my GameCube, but i actually don't really CARE to get metal sonic, because he's not really important. I only want all the characters powers, and to unlock super sonic. +, mission mode is useless also... and I don't want all the mini games. GETTING EVERYTHING IN THIS GAME IS A PAIN!!! 😫

Those chao build ups are just ridiculous even when you cheat with chao feeding it's so much time. Had my dreamcast almost beat but the races. Had to leave on the system for reincarnated chaos the night before school XD and there was no secret character wheel like cheatplanet lead a generation to believe.
My god I forgot I posted this comment this was so long ago 😂 i'm 17 and I wrote this when I was 12 or 13 BTW, I still never got Metal Sonic

If you do Hedgehog Hammer again with Amy, you get a green hammer with more attack range
You do know that metal sonic has jets on his back right? That's why he floats when he sprints.
Missed Amy's green hammer. Amy's puppet whack thingy.. is where you find it. Get a good score on it.
So Metal Sonic is just a skin basically? That really sucks :P

U missed Amy's long hammer u have to go to the egg carrier (it carrys eggs) then go to the room where u play a remake of whack a mole then play it a couple times and some time later you will get the long hammer which is just a longer hammer
I didn't know I could play as metal sonic in this game I didn't get all the emblems yet I was 60 more way from having them all.
Ask for the mini games a.k.a. game gear games, to unlock it's 10 or 20 emblems pre game, I'm sure of it.

I try to ignore that, and when I do, it's a funny and memorable game. That camera though xD

I like to think the missions as extra emblems as you can get mini games with them just like emblems
there is also the long hammer for amy which can be unlocked in the egg carrier by beating your own high score in that hammer smashing minigame after the egg carrier crashes
there is another amy power up when she get a green hamer, don know what its used for but yeah
I got three things for Amy. 1. What u just showed 2. Green hammer which I got from constantly playing that egg man game not in missions if there is. 3. U run really fast, jump, slam hammer or slam then jump idk I haven't played in a while. So bye!
and gamma has a lazer blaster upgrade at the room in front of the room where you got the jet booster
I know where to get power up's for Amy, all 4 lure power up's for Big & where Gamma's laser power up is, everybody has a hidden power up not mentioned in the manual, in SA2 every stage (except the cart stages) has a power up, that's why some characters have extras that their counterpart does not
You can play as Metal Sonic in the in the adventure mode but only with an action replay code
What program do you use for recording?
He doesn't have a story, he even said in the video that it's a Time Trial only option

for super beat the game's storyline as EVERY character.Since metal didnt have one he didnt need to be unlocked oh and super sonic is only a bossfight
There's one more for amy you go back to the hammer hedgehog game and beat your score and u get the long hammer and gammas is in the opposite room from where u get the jet booster on the egg carrier

Taha Tariq You need to buy the DX Upgrade and get all the emblems in the game in order to play as Metal Sonic. That should answer your question.
with amy u can get another green hammer u need to get 4k points in the thingy where u got the feather
I don't mean to spam here bit I use the rhythm badge 'that's the name' on the egg walker fight
hey woodlingduckstudios theres another weapon for Amy called the long hammer and you have to beat your score on the egg ship like I think you have to hit the ten thousand's
And the robots gun power is the door behind u when u exit the door that had the flying machine
You mean do everybody's story first before doing Sonic's story?
Stage one is the only one that is good in the game, the rest of the game annoys you with the completely drunk camera and bad control, mainly the horrible spin dash direction change.

I skipped the bridge by charging spin at bottom of slope and the jump at end to skip the springs

Only if you buy the Sonic Adventure DX DLC. Mini Games work on all versions that are DX, the only that cannot have mini games are the people who own the Dreamcast Original
ThunderboltGaming the Steam version don't have the mini games,just the 2004 version.
