I’ve never see Jurassic Park but I should watch it. Abbot Elementary just referenced the mosquito in amber in a recent video. Honestly, I’ve been leery of taking a cruise cause of germs. Lol. But you are inspiring me!

@carolwilliams8579 A couple of resources that helped me are both RUclipsrs: look up Roberto Blake & Grounded Life Finances. My son taught me in a couple hours how to do editing on DaVinci Resolve [free] but, you can't have him... lol. 😆 There are RUclipsrs who teach the basics of that program so just do a search. Or Grounded Life Finances has a YT course where they teach the basics of Adobe Premier Pro [not free]. That s/b enough to get you started. 😊🌻 Lmk if you have any Qs. 🛳

Amber Cove has become one of favorite ports! I’ve been about 3 times at least, and still haven’t explored it as much as I should, but I can count on the shops, and local activities. There’s a small store toward the right side of the water actives, take the walking path, and you should see a small sign, welcoming the cruise staff, ( but anyone can make purchases). You can stock up on small things you may need, or want, and cheaper souvenirs too. Plus I always enjoy looking at some of the familiar scenes I recognize from the movie filmed here, Jurassic Park!!! I’ll see what new areas I pick up on when your excursion video is ready, thanks for sharing 😎🛳🛳

@kellies8791 Hi. Yes. Amber Cove is a port IN Puerto Plata and the port is owned by Carnival so you can rent the cabanas from the ship or at the port bc Carnival owns the cabanas. ☺️🛳 Have fun!!! 🎉💃🏾

My 1st time at Amber Cove I didn’t know any of this was there. We immediately paid for a tour and beach which was a waste of money.
