Getting rid of Ray was a HUGE mistake. During the episode’s premiere, he was on Twitter liking EVERY tweet criticizing the producer for the decision. It really showed just how upset he was, and how he had no say in it. His wife, Nora’s actress, even tried to make a compromise to have her leave, but have Ray stay.
It is genuinely upsetting and feels so out of place from the many amazing send offs done with respect to many actors. Whoever it is that doesn't like him has some power because I cannot see a single positive to doing what they did, how they did.

The last season of Arrow had to be one of the most disappointing final seasons I have ever had the displeasure to watch because: 1. So to have his demise or sacrifice transpire in a supernatural and multi-dimensional conflict seemed out of place. 2. Felicity was gorgeous and adorable. Her absence was truly felt, and simply shoehorning her in at the last episode felt contrived.
The show has had supernatural elements throughout it's run though? Arrow has stood more on the edges of the believable world, but the Lazarus pits and portal to hell have always been there. Of course, it would take something more than of this world to take out the shows titular character.

The ratings weren't too bad, kind of in the middle field compared to the other Arrowverse shows. And while it wasn't excellent, it also wasn't bad and had some really interesting storylines going on. I never really cared about the ray palmer character, not to say that routh is a bad actor. His nerd dudebro thing with nate never worked for me and bringing his wife onto the show felt like nepotism.
What ultimately makes Legends of Tomorrow the better Arrowverse show in my opinion, besides how much fun and creative it can be, is the fact that so many characters are either killed off or retired. Every season always makes me wonder what will happen next.
Man, I really miss everyone from Legends. I mean Jax, Martin Stein, Snart, Ray, Amaya. I absolutely loved the first 2 seasons of Legends and I really enjoyed the 3rd too. I mean there were some absolutely amazing characters like Sara, Snart, Mick Rory, Jax, Martin Stein, Nate, Amaya and Ray
Idk what show that is (but I feel like it is about aliens, if im wrong please correct me) , but I miss the chaotic (with hunter ofc), comedic(again with hunter ofc) and the badass barbara morse in agents of shield cause she is the only character that left the show and didn’t had a cameo on the show other than trip who died in s2
I'm going to miss the green Arrow, though I agree the show had run its course and it was a perfect ending Can't imagine there being a better green Arrow, especially the actor that plays his daughter Also Ray Palmer, he was just such a positive character, really going to miss him
I liked Felicity in the first two, maybe three seasons of Arrow, I can't remember... Until she managed to devolve into the worst character in the history of the universe.
Haha Kate Cassidy, Candice Patton, Melissa Benoist, Chyler Leigh, Shantel Vanstan, Danielle Panabaker, Willa Holland, Katrina, Jessica Camocha, all blow her out the water
Lady Looper, I've subscribed just to hear your voice, like magic it makes me all excited about life again .. as a janitor, but some things remain beautiful: like the sunrise .. the excitement just before a rainstorm .. the kiss of the breeze on a moonlit suburban balcony under a starry night .. mostly such moments are realized alone, but the grace felt in such ornate splendor is memorable .. Humans are interesting, like how I'm a full-stack software engineer and graphics designer, cleaning toilets .. life is stranger than fiction sometimes .. Did I fall, or did I rise? .. does the worth of a human being depend on the size of their wallet?
Even putting the wokeness aside, I couldn't stand watching Ruby Rose as Batwoman. You could have put a mannequin in that role and it would have more depth and acting range.
ngl instead of allowing these characters to exit they should've just recast the actors. some characters like wally west and roy harper are literally the threshold to the main characters
Hartley Sawyer was fired because of some tweet he made 6 years ago and was shunned for it even Amell did. On a unrelated note about the video Amell got in trouble for the wrong think of some cop are good.
Ray and Nora leaving was really bad, I keep hoping they'll come back and get a proper wrap up. Those two were the breath of breathair and demon infested sunshine the show fed on.
For some of these characters departures, I hear some weak/vague excuses as to why they left, but ok, didn't really noticed them gone anyways so I guess is a win win
i like arrow and flash but its all so predictable. oh yeah there is a villain for a series lets spent 3/4 of it figuring out a way to defeat him but leave the actual defeating to the last episode.. so boring.
true...personally, I know the networks can't have 10 episodes seasons like the streaming services...so to keep things interesting split the season, maybe 1st 10 episodes trying to defeat a major villain and the rest of the season fighting someone else. I liked ARROW too but those episodes could fu**ing DRAG!!!
Somone basically already pointed it out, but yeah 20 episode season series seem to be dying and a thing of the past. its interesting how many shorter series are coming out on streaming and are SO much better and well recieved. Its actually painful to watch alot of older shows I grew up with because Im just like "Holy Filler Batman! Can we get to the Fckn point!"
Not to mention “you betrayed me, I can never trust you”... “you’re family, I’ll always have your back”...”you betrayed me, I can never trust you... repeat, repeat. I call it “Supernatural syndrome”.
Im not sad to see Jimmy go, I really disliked his portrayal. But happy the actor moved on to some great goals like writing a book and I bet the MK movie is gonna be awesome!
I find stupid that the title is reasons why actors left POPULAR superhero tv shows but the 3rd show is batwoman the most unpopular superhero anything to date

These aren't as much the "real reasons" these actors left as much as they are the "reasons" they left. Most of these reasons were announced.
The writers did Olsen and Roy dirty 😩 they could have been so cool but no.
I hate how Bobbi won’t be in s7. Not even the finale! Hunter got to return, why didn’t they call her??? 😞
I know that the actress is a regular on the orville
MetallicNole yeah but she wasn’t filming it at the time
5% marvel
5% others
90% ARROWVERSE
Who is here just because why arrow ended?
We all know that Bobbi went to The Orville. She is doing great over there, and she even got a real life husband from that show! :)
The Orville is the only show I'm looking forward to. The CWVerse is dead, like the writers
Darvill will always be remembered for playing rory in doctor who
Roy was the standout for me in season 2 besides Slade.
I'm going to miss the green Arrow, though I agree the show had run its course and it was a perfect ending
Can't imagine there being a better green Arrow, especially the actor that plays his daughter
Also Ray Palmer, he was just such a positive character, really going to miss him
I liked Felicity in the first two, maybe three seasons of Arrow, I can't remember... Until she managed to devolve into the worst character in the history of the universe.
she was still the best eye-candy the CW had
She was good til s3B, when they started the whole smarty-pants felicity crap after Oliver got kicked off that mountain by Ras.
Haha Kate Cassidy, Candice Patton, Melissa Benoist, Chyler Leigh, Shantel Vanstan, Danielle Panabaker, Willa Holland, Katrina, Jessica Camocha, all blow her out the water
@@justinsalinas7631 Not from s1-s3a... there's a reason she was everyone's beloved Felicity during that time!
I only cried two times while watching a show First was arrow’s ending and second was hunter and bobby leaving agents of shield
I'm shocked I didn't think anybody watched CW.
Have u ever heard about the100, the vampire diaries, charmed, robin hood, riverdale(it is a bad show no offense) and the originals
Some of these shows I've never heard of but I might have to give them a chance.
Absolutely the arrow/ Oliver Queen and Stephen Amell love him and every season
The CW has really poorly utilized their characters and performers for their superhero shows. Just do better The CW. Like damn!
Even putting the wokeness aside, I couldn't stand watching Ruby Rose as Batwoman. You could have put a mannequin in that role and it would have more depth and acting range.
I miss The Atom
Great video! Every actor has a career they need to work on and balance with their lives.
You forgot about the actot who played Hawk man,FireStorm and Actess who played Hawk woman
I miss hawkman and hawkwoman
ngl instead of allowing these characters to exit they should've just recast the actors. some characters like wally west and roy harper are literally the threshold to the main characters
Is it just me, or does it seem that these actors and actresses usually can't wait to be done with their respected CW shows.
them having Ray Palmer leave was their biggest mistake SMH😔
Routh... I always heard Ralph
Jay Tsosie I’m glad someone else caught, I kept hearing Ralph too
@@crimsonraptor67 Routh (pronounced like the British 'row') and Ralph sound extremely similar, so it makes sense.
Routh isn’t the last original cast member. Caity and Dominic are now the original cast members left.
So is Nick Zano
@@patdornoff9383 Nick became a part of the show in season 2
There is still 2 characters left from the OG's
I feel sad knowing that Stephen Amell will not be playing Oliver Queen again in Arrow...Im gonna miss it..
"Batwoman" "popular"...one of these doesn't belong.
Definitely a little bias Im picking up on in this video.
Wasn't it hated?
Thanks for the explanations.
Sara lance is in legends of tomorrow from season 1. Why did i hear, brandon routh is the only one left.
RAHIL MODI 1660810 because it’s not a good researched Video
They said "one of the few", not "the only one". At the moment there are only three of the original Legends left.
@@MyRegardsToTheDodo no, actually in the description of video, he stated that brandon is the one of the only left series regular.
@@RAHILMODI-cs2bo "one of the only series regulars", that means that there aren't many left. As I said, after Brandon left there are only three now.
Mick Rory also
It would be so amazing if stephen amell plays arrow in DCEU (if they ever decide to make a arrow movie)
100% like he is amazing at it. Just wish grant could’ve played flash
@@asadowling3442 true but it would also be a tad bit weird seeing him in the suit dc customized and blue lighthing
"I'm Batman..." "I'm Green Arrow"..."I'm Batman".... Hishe should make this 😂
@@Gautiy tht would be hilarious!
It’s cool to know Stephen Amell renewed his Arrow contract 2 times I think after his initial one

3:11 if i would wear that helmet, i would quit too.
Damn. Didn’t even know Arrow ended. I’ll have to get around to it at some point.
ITS GOING TO BE HARD TO WATCH SOMEONE ELSE PLAY OLIVER QUEEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If I never see Ruby Rose again, it would be immensely too soon.
I'm cool with Arthur and Mechad, their characters were the least interesting. I like Keiynan.
For some of these characters departures, I hear some weak/vague excuses as to why they left, but ok, didn't really noticed them gone anyways so I guess is a win win
Do some content on Lucifer
I hope we get to see Keiynan in the flash season 7
In the after life, what happens when you don't have a spouse to reunite with.... do you pick up one in the after life ?
Matthew chapter 22 vs 30 of the Bible will give you the answer, so will Mark ch 12 vs 25, and Luke ch 20 vs 35. hope this helps
It would be good to see Green Arrow /Stepen Amell in a future Justice League movie.
i like arrow and flash but its all so predictable. oh yeah there is a villain for a series lets spent 3/4 of it figuring out a way to defeat him but leave the actual defeating to the last episode.. so boring.
true...personally, I know the networks can't have 10 episodes seasons like the streaming services...so to keep things interesting split the season, maybe 1st 10 episodes trying to defeat a major villain and the rest of the season fighting someone else.
I think the writers to most of these shows handled all these departures quite well.
Even if the movie sucks if you get to play Superman that's landing you women for life.
Im not sad to see Jimmy go, I really disliked his portrayal. But happy the actor moved on to some great goals like writing a book and I bet the MK movie is gonna be awesome!
Because these superhero shows/movies were written terribly?
No wonder Lonsdale was rocking a perm in flash. It all make sense now!
I find stupid that the title is reasons why actors left POPULAR superhero tv shows but the 3rd show is batwoman the most unpopular superhero anything to date
Well, you really are that guy.
I love that literally all but one of these are from the Arrowverse because, during its time, this universe just WAS superhero television. We’ll miss it
Hey looper girl, you've said Ralph numerous times instead of Routh!
Ralph Dibny was the Elongating Man and Brandon Routh played Ray Palmer which was Atom.
