Do hospitals pay more for pharmacy technicians? I got my Pharmacy Technician certification by working at a retail pharmacy. Recently got the title of Inventory Specialist and been trained very well by a competent pharmacist, along with a few dollars more as a pay raise. I never took the PTCB though.

I do not have the answer to that question. My hospital based my pay off of my years of experience. Which was somewhat less than what I make in retail. But I've been at the same company for quite a while. The hospital has differential pays, so it kinda evens out. I can say that one of my friends who I worked in retail with and is at the hospital was paid more at the hospital than retail.
