    Haha the guy is already banned. I play a lot of daily games because of my work schedule and the cheating is ridiculous. There is no time usage to go off of so a lot of people get away with cheating in daily games and it sucks. I can’t remember the line, but it’s from one of Nelson’s courses and he said in the course “there is this move, but no human is going to play it unless they are a GM or a cheater” and a 1000 rated player found that move and it was a major red flag. I lost the game and he had 97% accuracy.

    I don't know, Nelson... I've watched this from Black's perspective... I've checked my databases about 4 of them. nothing about this game seemed out of the ordinary. Move 7 was the first critical point. On ChessBase, 300 players played 0-0... 60% of them lost the game and 20% got a draw..(the master's database is more damning to this move)... the average rating for a player who played that move was 1936. That move ranked 5th on chess engines, but every move from this point is in Black's favor. Objectively, it was not a good move because it screams move Bg6 which strengthens Black's defense and nullifies your next moves. Whenever you sac your bishop to set up the trap (which looks very obvious that you're trying to pin my queen), NOW Black can play h6 kicking your Knight and then fxe6 and then slide that bishop into f7 to nullify the d5 and the rook pin which means you traded your bishop for a pawn AND worse position. That leaves you with one of two choices... trade your bishop and knight for one more pawn and a bishop but it's not enough compensation because sure black can't castle but white can no longer attack because you're down material. you're no longer attacking to win but to draw.
    Every move from 9 to finsih was obivous imho for Black

    • @maximos905
      @maximos905 2 месяца назад

      You're assuming the guy is able to legitimately get 98% accuracy during a blitz game with a complicated position. It took the guy over 10 seconds to take the bishop, anyone else would have used 1 second at the most

    • @chrisdavis2161
      @chrisdavis2161 2 месяца назад

      @@maximos905 that was the only critical point in the game. I'm rated around 1700 in blitz, And if I were black and white sacrifices their knight right there, I would wonder wtf was going on and then notice that there is no pawn on e file and if I capture with my queen, whites rook is going to slide over and pin me, so I can't capture without realizing I need to move my King out of the way. It's a blunder check.
      As far as the 98percent... It's not hard to get considering this : 1. the two mistakes Nelson made in the opening, and the blunder pre move he made where he thought blacks bishop was going to check him first.. the game was so simplified at this point that there were only one good course of action 2. The guy is rated 2500. Am I surprised that he didn't fall for the opening trap? No, of course not. In the master's database everyone that played whites moves up to move 7-9 lost.
      From move 9, SF12 couldn't hold white's position after 9...fxe6, it lost in 98 moves to SF15.1. After plugging in the correct reply for black which was 9...h6, (the move he thought the guy cheated on aka "the engine move" that Nelson thought was beyond human understanding) SF12 lost even faster to SF15.1 in 78 moves. Why did I test it like this? The analysis on this move order by Nelson is antiquated. I'm pretty sure that the latest version of SF would beat white from move 9 in 50 moves or less. I will test this today on my computer.

      @chrisdavis2161 TLDR cope harder bro. You're getting really defensive for the accused cheater. He just happened to do the top engine move everytime after that using about 5 seconds each time, there's no doubt the guy was cheating. Plus he lost the first game against Nelson but the rematch he does that

      @chrisdavis2161 2 месяца назад

      @@maximos905 you're the one that needs to cope, man. the spot where Nelson said he thought the guy cheated, he didnt play a "top engine move"... the top move was h6. any argument falls apart after that. you bringing another chess game into question as evidence that he cheated in THIS game is irrelevant. there was never any proof he cheated in this game. If the dude was rated 1500... I'm pressing the "he cheated" button so hard. but he's rated 2500. you're the one who needs to press the "cope harder" button.
      This argument that he cheated is weak from this video alone... "he cheated because he didn't fall for my trap"
      that sounds like a kid argument... "he used an engine" the move h6 immediately comes up on a mobile device for SF15 and later... Do you think he used an old SF engine that came out 2-3 years ago? or another program? That's harder to believe than to understand the opening Nelson played is a dubious gambit/sacrifice that leaves white with a minor piece down and worse position with decent NOT PERFECT...DECENT play by Black.
      If you think that this video alone proves that Black cheated, you need to grow up. Nelson should have included the previous game and then it might have worked out better.
      I'm a fan of Nelson, I've been subbed to him for a couple of years now, but when someone refutes your gambit, you have to go back to the drawing board and figure out what happened. It's irrelevant that the guy cheated because your preparation should have included "what if the person plays perfectly, can this position hold up?" Nelson didn't have an answer to the moves the guy played. White is supposed to WIN or DRAW with perfect play...SF can't hold the position for draw... a 3500 elo engine... what does that mean? It means that the opening is so bad that Black can win from move 9... WHY WOULD YOU PLAY IT against someone who's 2500??? goh man

    0:30 you said that fxe6 is the best move after Bxe6... this is simply not true... it is a good move if you understand the queen trap that is coming. The best move for black is h6 kicking your knight and taking your Bishop reestablishing black's e pawn. now you have to spend resources trying to prove Black's e pawn to be a weakness but you will not be able to without losing more material. Therefore, you might feel more forced to attack the f7 pawn to prevent black from creating a defense of the center so powerful that you will need to sacrifice another minor piece to stop that e pawn

I frequently investigate suspected cheaters for fun on /r chess using my gadgets and my really expensive computer. sometimes I find people making very "fishy" moves during games, but Nelson made a lot of moves that were just not good and his opponent sniffed out his preconcieved plan of victory within ten moves...the game was tactical but you have to realize that Nelson gambited 2 pawns in this opening, then saced his Bishop to try to set up a trap that was sniffed out. If you add mistakes and blunders in there (which there were plenty of), Nelson had no chance of winning this game against a player with that high of a rating
