Due to my exams I couldn't watch any of it until last night and I wasn't too excited to see Loreen again even though I loved her, but I loved this song!!! all of the ones that made it to the grand final really deserved it. AND i agree, the hair extensions was a lot! hahaha but overall fantastic. Until the next Eurovision in Sweden x
Very interesting observation there on how it was shot for TV. It must be a fine balance to perform live for the stage, and keep the audience engaged, and have that atmosphere be present to those watching on TV.
Look! Esc has ALWAYS been shoot for tv! Hence the name Eurovision! That being said the audience is very important as observers so that the importance of singing live is kept. The people in the crowd aren’t going to make any difference when voting! They are simply not enough!
It surprised me because her rehearsals were really bad vocally but lets be honest guys - she slayed it vocally. After all these problems with staging and (lets be honest) SO MUCH HATE shes getting because shes the one to beat this year - its really impressive she pulled it off eventually. Looks cheaper but 90% watching this on Saturday have no idea whatsoever what Melodifestivalen is so they'll have nothing to compare it to. Objectively speaking (and looking at the odds) she was miles better than Finland. The guy was out of breath, his vocals were so weak that in some parts we didnt even hear his voice 😢 so I kinda get the change in the odds today (imho im SHOCKED that Israel hasnt shot up to like 3rd place because it definitely should have!)
