  • **PRO TIP: The Product Names you enter for each of the individual products in your group will become their respective Style Names when the product is exported to your store.
    To group multiple products into one listing in the CustomCat app, you’ll begin by creating your products.
    Click My Stores & Add Product for the store you’ll be exporting the listing to.
    In this example, we’ll be grouping a light & dark version of the same design onto dark & light colored t-shirts.
    When creating a product with our dark-colored design, we’ll choose a few light colored variants of our G500 t-shirt. Next, we’ll adjust our product name, cost, & tags.
    After clicking confirm, we’ll select the G500 a second time & add the light-colored version of our design. After selecting a few dark color variants, we’ll adjust the product information & click “Confirm.”
    Now that we’ve created both products, click “Next” to move to Step 2.
    Next, select both products by clicking the “Select” button, then move to our “Actions” menu & select “Group Products” from the dropdown menu.
    Now, you’ll have the opportunity to name your group, edit your listing description, & add tags to your listing. Once your listing looks the way you’d like, click “Save Product.”
    Lastly, you’ll click the “Export Products” button to progress to product export.
    On the final export stage, you have one more chance to review your listing details by clicking on each individual product.
    You can also adjust your export settings here.
    Now you’re ready to export your grouped listing. Click the “Confirm” button in the top right corner & you’ll notice the export progress bar moving simultaneously for products in the grouped listing. Once the export has completed, you’ll see a success message below the products.
    And that’s it! You’ve now grouped multiple products into a single listing in the CustomCat app.
    Keep in mind that this feature is not compatible with Etsy, but it can be used with any of our other integrations.

    Is there a way to group Custom Cat products that have already been published in your store?

    Is it possible to group products and avoid having deadlinks on the listing page in my shopify store? Instead of a button interface could their be a dropdown box that shows the appropriate options in order to eliminate confusion from the customer?

      Hi Michael -- our grouping feature is available for both Shopify & WooCommerce. The style of the listing is going to be dependent on the theme you're using in your store, but our technical support team can help you get things looking the way you described. Please send us an email at contact@customcat.com & someone will get back to you shortly!

    Is it possible to connect customcat to squarespace?

    • @CustomCat
      @CustomCat  Год назад

      Hi Christopher -- we aren't currently offering a SquareSpace integration. However, we do offer order submission by CSV. Many of our partners working on platforms outside our integration list use this feature to use our fulfillment.
      Our support team would be happy to chat with you more about how it works! You can send us an email at contact@customcat.com or give us a call at 844-874-8623 (M-F, 8am-6pm EST).

      Hi @caveman9275 -- we're in the process of updating all of our tutorials & we're sorry this one has yet to be updated to reflect our recent platform updates. The process for grouping your products is still the same as is outlined in this video, but getting started looks a little different. To begin, please click "Add Product" from the left navigation menu, then select your store. From there, you should be able to follow along. Please let us know if you need any help along the way & our support team would be happy to assist you!

    doesn't work with etsy... so how to do ?

    • @CustomCat
      @CustomCat  3 года назад +2

      Hi there -- unfortunately, Etsy will not allow more than 2 variant types in a single listing (i.e. Size & Color), which limits the effectiveness of our grouping feature with that platform, as we require 3 variant types. If you're looking to create grouped listings on Etsy, your products will need to be combined into one listing manually. Our support team would be happy to go through the requirements with you if you send them an email at contact@customcat.com

    Hi, If I do so then export products, on Shopify it separates the products in to two styles. For example, White t-shirt is placed on different style with other colors. This would make a buyer confused because if they click on Style one, it tells them those other colors are unavailable. So if they looking for black t-shirt then they have to choose style 2. This in my opinion is a long UI journey. How do I make all products listed under one style?

    Hi, what if you decide to change the product to another product on the same listing? Does that work, i.e. update it on custom cat and export it then it will automatically update on Etsy

    • @CustomCat
      @CustomCat  2 года назад

      Hi Freddy -- currently, your products only live in Etsy after you export them, so there's no way to edit those products within the CustomCat app. However, we are nearing the final stages of building that functionality, so it should be available relatively soon. In the meantime, the best way to update the product in a listing is to recreate & publish a new product.

      @@CustomCat Thank you very much. As long as I can edit them, change mockups, prices and descriptions in Etsy; I am happy

    • @CustomCat
      @CustomCat  2 года назад

      @@slimfreddyk You absolutely can -- updating the images, descriptions, & pricing won't have any effect on fulfillment. The only thing we need to stay intact is the product SKU associated with the product you want us to fulfill. We will fulfill the order based on SKU alone, so if you make updates to the product itself, please make sure you use your new SKU in the listings. If you need any assistance or clarification on this, our tech support team would be happy to help you out via email at contact@customcat.com.

    For etsy can we just get the sku from the two or how ever many products after they are designed in cc and use them for etsy but use our own mockups and such and have items grouped that way?

    • @CustomCat
      @CustomCat  2 года назад

      Hi there -- as long as the SKU is intact & CustomCat is listed as the vendor on the listing, you can modify whatever details you'd like. Those are the only two pieces of information required for our system to recognize we should fulfill that order for you. Keep in mind the SKU carries all of the fulfillment information (color, size, design positioning, etc) so if you have multiple variant options, you will have multiple unique SKUs.
