just found your channel via unreal fest - iv been looking on the unreal 5 since i found out 1 year agow that mandalorian was via backdrop - from digging into this - my toughts was Stopmotion art with unreal 5 world in 2 diffrent version, 1 video importet into unreal world and after some time > into realtime cam via a vive controller with a backdrop Oled tv´s or 4k lazer projector. i have a few hardware questions. 1 for gpu / cpu whats the entry level - i myself have a 3950x amd and is AMD or intel - nvidia better to run inside unreal and other programs you would use? 2 whats the gpu entry level to work with all the data.? ex 3080 - 12gb or you need more GB like 24/48gb cards *3 any recomend on camera setup - i myself was thinking iphone to start with CamTrackAR app + iphone 12/or 14 but im not sure thats even a good idea - so maby a BMP 4k or 6k or Ursa mini used? any recomendations? thanks alot ill be watching in your videos
Thank you for watching! These are some great questions. I will allow Tony to speak more to some of the CPU specs, but you bring up a great point with the camera. IMO, one of the coolest aspects of virtual production is the scalability of the process. You can attach a Vive tracker on a coldshoe mount on a cheap phone mount, and it will work great. While I'm sure we would all love a multimillion dollar LED Volume, an iPhone and a descent TV will allow you to start making content. Maybe we can do an episode exploring this a bit more!
Thank you so much for all details in this good video, am using second shooter since 2014 , so happy with it in all my interviews videos and also some dynamic shots as B roll too. am going to replace it with the cine shooter soon just because of the Roll axis support, so my question is : 1- Does the lens control could be keyframed too in the app ? 2- why you naked the FX6 ? :) , i need up to 6 Kilos payload 3- is there any possibility to have 6 ft slider or 7 instead of 5 ? Great thanks
I haven't tested keyframing the lens control, but it should work just fine. I didn't show it setup, but I also have the Kessler Shuttle Dolly which can go much longer depending on the length of the rails you have. I have rails that are in 3 ft sections that can be threaded together. I've gone as long as 17 ft with a support brace in the middle. That said, I typically shoot between 6 and 10 ft on the Shuttle Dolly and it can be motorized and used with the CineShooter.
What is the name of the attachment at 12:00, please? I'd like to consider ordering that accessory. Thank You!
It's called the CineShooter Smart Handle. FYI, Kessler Crane gave our viewers a 10% OFF discount code: CREATIVEEDGE

can it integrate a bloop light, a turntable, and Nucleus-M Fiz?
im actually curious about the length... can you extend it?
Yes, I have a 5' CineSlider and 10' Shuttle Dolly system that it works great with.
