Yes Margreth is an AWSOME crafter who should be so very proud of her selv- we are many who loves her too and we are lucky that she jumped into our world of inspiring creativity with scraps and JJ. Take good care of each other and have fun in your gaming - ha ha 😉 Greetings from Denmark to the both of you 😍
I love what you are and what you do, and I don't really know you but I feel that you are good sweet and nice so for me you are a friend! Thank you for everything ! 😉😊❤
I don't even know what to say, I'm blushing here! ☺I'm so happy and touched that I could be that person for you...I remember you sending me a few IG posts and I'm so happy you are in my "comments" JJ! You are doing so well here on YT and I am so proud of you! Keep it up and enjoy your journey! Big hug, Barbara ❤
Margreth, your mother sounds wonderful. My Mom was much like yours she is 88 and still crafting. I would much rather have one video a week from you, and have you rested and healthy. You are loved. Thank you Jackson for making an appearance. He is adorable! Thank you again for opening up to us, I have so enjoyed getting to know you. You are a very special person.
I learned something today about myself! You said you are easily distracted when it comes to creativity and so am I, but as a result of you talking about things that you love and what inspires you, I wrote down things that I love that pertain to journaling and paper crafting. As I looked at what I wrote down, I realized that there is a common thread throughout and I can focus on that common thread whenever I'm overwhelmed by my own distractedness! Thank you! (If you wondered, the common thread is that I like patterns - sewing patterns, knitting patterns, folio patterns, woodworking patterns - so now when I get distracted I can go back to looking at patterns and find the pattern in whatever I'm doing.) You're so cool.
I have such admiration for you wanting to make your videos available to everyone equally. That is integrity. I will support you in any way that I am able.
It must have been some cat hairs floating around , and the lighting system in my conservatory has always been glitchy. But nonetheless I know that God loves me 🙏🏼😊
I’ve been following your channel forever, it seems, yet only now spotted this Q and A! This was so nice❤ I love your sense of humor and down-to-earthiness
Love watching you so much. I just found these videos and do not know how I missed them before. It is great getting to know you better. I did notice in this video that Jackson is very smart as he, she, turned on the light in the background. Love you and I hope you never quit making such great videos.
Love, love, love this!!! Thank you so much! I have to share…you said, “I found a treasure in my head!”. When you said that, I thought…she gets me! Ha! This is one reason why: Just a couple of days ago, I was visiting with my neighbors across the street…a rare treasure…and I was talking about paper treasures to be found. I had mentioned that I’d love to find something with old style (Gothic?) print in it. The husband spoke up and said, “You know where you find that, don’t you…in old Bibles!” I hadn’t thought about that for ages, and thought that I’d have to keep an eye out. Well…yesterday, it dawned on me that I have my mother’s family’s old Bible! What a treasure! I’ve got to find it now…I’ve literally got too much “stuff”, and am trying to cull out some to give away, and other to throw away. You’ve absolutely endeared yourself to me. I love your excitement (just like mine) over treasures that others might deem trash. You’re creativity is amazing! It’s an absolute joy to watch your videos! I often leave yours playing throughout the day. 😊 (Maybe my pets can learn to operate my lights for me, as well! 😉 Blessings to you, sweet Margaret! My MIL’s name was Margaret, and I loved her dearly! And she is where I first learned to call my loved ones “Love”. It blesses me when you call others “Love”, and it makes me giggle when you call yourself the same. Gotta run so I can watch some more! 😃
I’m around your moms age and we did make do. I believe because of this my son (he’ll be 50 this year) came to love sewing, carpentry, cooking and entertaining. I grew up knowing how to cook, sew, knit, crochet and embroidery (my inner hippie embroidered everything). Very thankful that my husband encourages me on my junk journaling journey. There’s always time for dusting later. Thanks for sharing. Somehow we’re all connected by even the smallest of interests. PS you’ll become addicted to gelli prints. It’s so much fun to explore the different papers, inks, paints. I love to make gelli prints when friends are over, they are dazzled and usually take some home (even though they’ll only look at them like paintings). Watch Denise Lush or Ceri Griffiths, both are excellent at this craft.
"I found a treasure in my head!" I will forever use this phrase when remembering a treasure I FORGOT I had! So lovely hearing about your life. My condolences on the passing of your mother 😥; she sounded like an incredible human.
Such a beautiful tribute to your mom 🥰 I was a young mom as well and our first Christmas I had no ornaments for the tree, so I made and painted all of the ornaments out of the 'salt dough' you mentioned. One doesn't need fancy expensive things to make our lives rich. Kudos to your mom! ❤️👍 Also, thank you for your comments about Patreon. While I realize that is a creator's prerogative, I live on a fixed income and just cannot afford to join the Patreons of all of the creators I enjoy watching. 🤔
Margreth, I am late to these videos but better late than never. I am so enjoying them. What an absolutely wonderful tribute you paid to your Mum. I was so touched by your words so I can only imagine what she must have felt. You are a wonderful daugther and I enjoy your channel very much.
I love your message about not having your subscribers to pay more money to see your videos. You are really such a generous and sweet person ❤ your channel and keep making beautiful things.
Love watching you. I made my first prayer junk journal this week and I so love it, I have already written it. I also love watching Julie of Camilla crafts!! God bless you!
Margareth, your mother sounds like so much fun! I am 71 years old and my mom raised 7 kids (2 sets of twins). She was the best cook in the world and I loved her so much and still miss her! I always had clothes and food on the table. We were a humble family. I am so happy for you hun! I will never forget when I purchased one of your digitals on Ko-Fi and you replied how honored you were that I did! You even did a video with one of my digitals! You have a way of making everyone feel special! I love that about you! Congratulations on your RUclips channel and how well you have done! Keep going, sweetheart, but take care of yourself! Love ya! ♥♥
Hi sweetheart, thank you so much for sharing. 7 kids? Wow 🤩 Moms are the best 👍🏻 Still very honored dear that you purchased my kit , your digitals are amazing 😘
So thankful I found your channel a few months ago. I’ve been catching up on past videos late at night in bed. I use my iPad n earbuds but tonight I told my husband he needed to listen for a bit...so he’ll know why I’ve been talking w a Dutch accent and saying “dats fantastic lovey”! Loved your story tonight about your mom n growing up😊
I am quite impressed by your willingness to stand firm to your convictions, You've set boundaries and stick with them! Also, I would love to see you do a live, I am willing to watch you ANYTIME.
You are such a natural story teller. I love listening to your stories . I could see you having a Podcast with stories to share about your life, the Netherlands and having your Mom as a guest. Best wishes to you always. Love from California. ❤
You do you , your health is important , look after yourself .I loved both part 1 & 2. YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION TO US ALL. I love your honesty, thank you for sharing your life with us. I am so pleased I found your tutorials...
What a lovely tribute to your mum!it is no surprise that you have talented parents. You have so many gifts and are so inspiring. You and Barbara are 2 of my best favourites. Thank you and God bless you!
I have just found these two videos almost a year later and I so enjoyed them. I particularly liked hearing your take on Patreon as I feel exactly the same way. While I can easily afford it, I think the whole idea of exclusive videos only for those who contribute $ to be very selfish. please keep doing what you are doing, I love it.
My Dad was like you are with you not sharing your favorite thrift stores, he would not share his best fishing spots. I have enjoyed your Q & A videos. Now I have a face to put with your hands and voice. I know, I'm just now watching these videos but I'm playing catch up on the days you don't have a new video. Have a lovely day.
Aww, you are just such a sweet endearing soul, bless you sweetie. I have so thoroughly enjoyed these ' get to know me' videos. I truly wish I'd found them sooner, but it's okay because I have been watching all of your more recently released videos. I have watched these get to know you videos back to back and I swannie I literally felt like I was sitting right in the room with you, just chatting away. Thank you for the wonderful thrift shopping tips. You are so right about going to the cluttered, smelly and run down looking shops (my words), those are the places that have buried treasures. It would be lovely to have a live chat/craft with me videos, however I totally get why you hesitate to do a live, and it is so thoughtful of you to want to include everyone, from all four corners of the world, such a sweetheart you are. Thank you so much for sharing your life with all of us, it does seem to help us feel less like viewers and more like friends, Look after yourself and happy crafting/ creating always! xx
I needed to watch this again. You are the loveliest person on RUclips channels for crafters. I adore your crafts, your humor, your talent, and wish we were neighbors. Congratulations on your personal journeys. You are just a delight. Thank you for sharing with us. Someday perhaps I too can have a youtube channel with lovely friends, like yourself.
Now that we’ve met you and Jackson you know we want to meet Tim too. He needs to pop on and tell us hey. I liked hearing what parts of the thrift store you gravitate to when you first arrive at the store. I like the hardware section too 😊.
I would enjoy watching some lives. As well as organizing or really anything. You just have such a bright and personable attitude that I enjoy watching. Do take care of yourself. I can't wait for thrift season when the weather warms up here and I can get out and go hunting.
I have been watching you since you started your channel and love it, not a big commenter but you got me! Song lyrics, like you I can pin point almost everything in my life with a song lyric or song from that time. With you all the way, congratulations on what you have achieved so far an looking forward to more x
Oh, Margareth! I just love your channel! Thank you for these get to know you videos! My dad is a Trekkie and so is my sister. My mom sounds a lot like yours. I have a similar relationship to mine that you seem to have with yours. She is “Betty Crocker” and the best homemaker ever! I did not get that. I am so easily distracted and bored and have a “butterfly mind.” I just started my crafting journey and have gone down the rabbit hole. I just love it all. Please take care of yourself and rest when you need to. Thank you for all you do for your viewers. PS. I wish I could find a way to be a full time thrifter! I love digging through old boxes of stuff to find treasures. 💕
My mother used to make Christmas wreaths in the 60's/70's out of elongated time cards from those time periods. Then she would spray paint metallic and add embellishments. They were so pretty.
✨🌼❣️Aweesome❣️🌼✨ Margreth you are adorable and a very hard working personality, i have following here for long time. Keep on groweing and thank you for share you're irl. video -as iam always enjoy!🖖 🤗❣️❣️❣️
Thanks for the up close and personal. It is nice to see you nit just your hands. Your hands are lovely! Im Jennie from USA. I came from a very crafty family.
Margaret’s, you are such a sweetheart. Your sweetness comes through your videos to us. I have learned so much from you in these past couple of months since I found you. I’m afraid I am one of those people that has every intention of making a journal but I am intimidated. Crazy, I know. I hope by this time (I watched this video four months after you posted it) you are much improved from your experience with Covid. I had a bad bout with it as well. I admire you and your work. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your love and encouragement we receive when viewing your videos. God bless.
You are such a lovely person I found some days ago. I love your dutch accent and it's fun listening to you! Thanks for all the inspiration I'm always looking for. Be blessed!
Hello from California, USA 😃 I was so thrilled to find this Q&A from you, even though it's a year old. I've been watching you for a few months now and it was so lovely to see the face behind the hands. I am new to junk journaling and I just love it. I have learned so much from you! I love your style. I think we appreciate the same aesthetic. So often while I'm watching your videos, I will talk to you on my Tv, (crazy I know) and you will actually hear me when I say...no! not there, or Yes! that piece! and you listen! It's crazy. Anyway, thank you so much for all you do, I love getting ideas from you and trying them out as a new paper crafter! And thanks for solving he riddle of the name Sevenplaza. I too, am a Star Trek fan. I think the hardest series of episodes was with the Borg though. Did you watch the recent series Picard? Really enjoyed that! Hope to keep in touch with you!
I always thought my brain was the only one e that worked that way! I too start one thing and in the middle, or wherever, another thought pops into my head and I want to see it materialize! I tried writing them done, but unless I wrote all the concepts going thru my head down, then the prompts I would write, meant nothing, lol! Love that you’re a vintage person…my late husband and I were in the antique business for many years, although our main goal was refurbished furniture, we also collected old mags, books, letters….items that told a story. Now with him gone and maybe age (lol), I find that’s my favorite now and finding ways to bring back their life… probably sounds crazy! Anyway loved hanging with you again , although a year apart, lol!!! ❤❤
Loved both of your videos on your journey ❤️ You are one of the first videos on paper crafting and all that you do. And yes I went down a rabbit hole myself, I love stamping and grunge. So glad to put a face to your lovely voice 😍
thank you. I really love watching you and these insights into who you are. I think you are absolutely lovely and made for RUclips. I like to watch you make journals with every video being a class on a different project within that. Like Gunther in 100 days. I’d love to organise your craft room with you and watch you thrift. In fact I could just watch you eat breakfast 🤣🤣. Please keep doing and videoing. Personally I don’t think you need better lights etc. it’s your personality that shines through. And I’m scared of anything too perfectly professional. I love your channel, your kofi, your accent and mostly just you. You are the sort of person I would choose to have as a real friend. Thank you for all you give xxx
you are a beautiful person. We have so much in common, I have learned so much from you. Can not say enough how grateful I am for your junk Journaling shared. Thank you for being you. Loved what your husband wrote too!
Since this is from a year ago, I don't know if you'll ever see this comment, but I just had to do it. 1st, love you and your channel. It's nice to see the person behind "the hands"😊. I cannot believe the similarities between the 2 of us! The 80's music, the SIMS, board games, gaming, no children, one younger brother, style (but not butterflies, only dragonflies😉), divorce and yes, the dark valley that follows, your style, no prompts please, no commission work, but when you started talking about those sentiments, YES, I understand. I have needed them before and they are wonderful, but once you've healed, all those things you did during the bad times come to mind whenever you see them in the future and I want no reminders. I will use single words and sometimes scripture, particularly in prayer journals, but not those "you got this" sort of stuff. I'll use quotes sometimes, Mark Twainish quotes. We didn't have much growing up, but my brother and I didn't really know it; my parents saw to it that love was abundant and all I ever needed was a crayon and paper anyway and I was happy - that hasn't changed - just let me smell a box of crayons😂!!! And finally, I am all over the place too. Anyway, I think you're amazing and your life story was wonderful. Thank you for taking the time to let us know you. It makes a difference!
Interesting to hear what you look for in thrift stores. At a Salvation Army store I found a very fancy ladies top that was all covered with a emerald green lace. I bought it for $2.00. Great find! By the way your Jackson looks very much like my Leo that I got at a shelter. So enjoy all your videos.❤
Hi Margreth! I have so enjoyed this and part 1. I love your videos & it's so nice to get to know you. By the way, I'm also a huge Star Trek fan 😉 Thank you so much! Les
I so appreciate you. I value authenticity, integrity, self-care, honoring your own process, and not compromising for demands from others. Thank you and you've just made another friend.
Margaret, I’m new to your channel and I just love your videos! I’m from Texas, USA. I love your creativity and you encourage me with my own crafting! ❤️ I share your feelings about journaling. I’ve tried journaling for my water and meals and it wasn’t for me. I found it very stressful. I do however love making journals and journal pages. I’m a member of a card group on fb and they currently have an event for monthly journal pages. Each month a different member swaps journal pages with you so you get so many varieties of pages and at the end of the year, we’ll make a book for them. 😊❤️ I love your story, thank you for sharing and I hope you recover soon and feel better than ever! ❤️😊🙏
Take care of yourself. Don't worry about not getting enough videos. You are great to watch and if you are worn-out, we can't watch. Enjoyed your time today 😊 with us. Thank you and will be watching you soon.
Loved hearing about your mother. My mom was the same type of woman raising my brother and me on a very small budget. We had a fun "game " that she did, giving us each $2 and taking us to garage sales. The winner was the one who got the best deals on clothes for school. Our prize was a pack of Fruit Stripe gum! So I learned at a young age to be frugal and find creative ways to stretch my budget. My mom made us feel like we were not poor either by making do with what we had and working hard for those things we really wanted. She had a "tea party" with us using powered sugar frosted Graham crackers and Kool-aid ! Again, on fancy plates, the simple things were fun!! Thanks for sharing🥰🥰🥰
Wow I just found these two Q and A videos! Enjoyed them so much! I’ve been watching your videos for a few months and have made several of your projects!! Love your channel!! Thank you so much!! ❤
I’ve loved your 100 day series… I go through it looking for all the Gunther videos and next will be be doing Victoria… it’s fun following those projects even though they are scattered throughout the challenge series!
Loved the stories about your mom! My mom sewed and crafted, made cakes and silk flowers for weddings. She was very talented. I spent so much time trying to do what she did. Not being able to focus on one project when something new comes along must be a creative thing, my mother was like that and so am I!
Hi Margreth, I am new to your channel and when I saw you had a Get To Know Me I jumped right to it and absolutely love these 2 videos. Thank you for all your sharing - you inspire me on many levels. One side of my Grandparents were Dutch so I've got a bit of that in me, got to visit the Netherlands only once and too short a time - hope to visit that beautiful country again. Thrift shops - I too find cool stuff in odd places, yet you had some great tips I'll keep in mind. Wonderful videos and I am having fun going through your playlists for inspiration as I am a relative newby to making journals even though I've had a lifetime of creativity, art and paper-crafting. Thank you and Blessings always!
Such a lovely part 2. Both vids awesomeness! Even though I live in the US, I still will utilize your great advice on the thrifting. When I go out of town sometimes I go on the hunt!
Oh what a fun life you had growing up! I truly enjoyed your video! It is nice putting a picture with the voice and knowing a little about you! Thank you!
I just watched part 1 and this today. I absolutely adore you! Your story truly resonates with me and inspires. You have a terrific attitude and speak the truth. I’m not sure if you will see this comment considering you taped it very early in the year but as a very new journaler and treasure hunter I can’t wait to watch more of you! Thank you so much for sharing ❤️
Margreth… I just start watching your videos last week and was intrigued when I saw this 2 part series, “Get to Know Me Better.” I loved your candor, and do feel like I got to know you a little better. ☺️ What a beautiful and lovely tribute you gave to your mother. I know your mother had to be so proud of her lovely and gifted daughter…and how she must have loved hearing how proud you were of her! ❤️ Trenda
I have loved watching both of these videos, I feel like I know you like a friend. Thank you for being brave enough to share your story. I had covid a year ago and still have good and bad days with taste and smell. I look forward to your future videos as I always watch your channel. Take care Lovie xx
I am new to junk journaling, new subscriber, and am so happy to have found your channel Margrethe. I love your joy and enthusiasm that comes through so clearly in your videos!!!! I hope to work my way through many of your older videos and HAD to comment on this one: thank you for sharing your journey. Your experience growing up and with your mom resonates so deeply...my mom and grandmother are/were the same as we grew up subbing creativity for unlimited funds as well 😊
Hello Margreth. I always watch and give you a thumbs up but seldom comment on your videos. I loved the last 2, they were inspiring, warm and personal. It has been lovely getting to know you better and seeing you. You look much younger than you are too! Your videos in future will be even better because I feel I know you a little. Take care of yourself lovely lady xxx❤❤❤
I'm always surprised by how apologetic RUclipsrs are about being human( ie. taking care of themselves and their families), background noise. Life is going to happen, you need to take acre of yourself first and then worry about us a bit later. The background noise you can't control, I don't know why some people insist on the idea that RUclipsrs have to live in a time-space bubble that is devoid of sounds and distractions in the background. I'm not sure where that got started but as someone who worked in television production for 12 years, people are going to people. I love to hear background stuff its nice to know that you live in the real world with the rest of us.
Margreth, it was a pleasure hearing your story. I think you ate so talented, generous with your talent and so funny! I feel like we could be best friends and would love to meet you someday.
Once again I am grateful you shared! Interesting that your Mother was a big inspiration for you, even though you are very different. I always enjoy watching your hands at work, and now to see your beautiful face is even better. Will you be updating your photo on RUclips? You are beautiful! Enjoy your time tomorrow and your weekend!
Yes, I love all things retro aka MCM Mid Century Modern. I have many dresses, furniture, household kitsch, etc. from the 50s and 60s, all that I use. Another great chat bloss👌🥰🇦🇺
Another great video. I really enjoy seeing how much alike we all are. I hope you make more of videos like this, would love seeing you organize your treasures. Thanks again for sharing your story and the one about your Mother, it was beautiful. Hugs * L
Thank you for making these getting to know you videos. I have been subscribed for awhile but watched mainly when learning a specific technique. Lately Big have been looking for something to stir up my passion for making junk journals. I have found it in your videos. I have enjoyed your March madness 2024 and looking forward to what April brings. Here in Oklahoma USA April brings tornadoes and severe weather..April showers bring May flowers unless they don't get blown away!lol
Thank you so very much for doing these videos to get to know you better! You are so much fun to watch. I love to hear how your mind works. To be honest, you make me feel pretty normal!! Hugs and prayers Beautiful!!!❤😂
How lovely to hear the stories of your upbringing!! I've really enjoyed these 2 'get to know you' videos and appreciate that you took the time to make them. I loved seeing Jackson and his clever trick of turning on the light lol! 😹 As it's 5 months since you filmed this I do hope you have recovered from your bout of covid and your energy levels have gone up. A good friend of mine has been suffering with long covid and she has recently had Vit B12 injections and they have made an amazing difference. I'm looking forward to checking out a few more of your wonderfully inspiring videos from the past and excitedly anticipating others that are yet to come. xx
I'm not sure how I miss these 2 video's but I found them. I just love how you are just so real. Even a lot of the same favorites too! Keep up the great work my dear. (Live long and prosper my friend)
I loved Part 1 but I also love Part 2 you are a breath of fresh air honest and so open. I loved the stories about your Mom. Thank u so much for sharing 💕🌴
I love this video . Thank you again for sharing yourself with us. I too remember making macaroni jewelry as a child. My Dad always said when we asked him to eat with us….his family eats first then he will eat. As a child I didn’t understand until I was older we didn’t have a lot of money …and yet he never ever complained about us. We were 4 kids. You brought back memories..thanks Margreth. That was a marvelous tribute to your Mom. I am a relatively new subbie and don’t normally comment but these videos deserved comments from me. I wouldn’t concern your self with content since we love what you do …what ever you make we will watch and create with you too. If you can only make 1 video well we will be here when you make the next. Your health comes first. Have a wonderful weekend and yes take care…that Covid got me too several months ago and still I am not feeling my same old self! 🤗💖🤗
When life gets in the way of crafting you are my 'go-to' to relax and get perspective. It was so lovely getting to know you better. Ticks for Sushi, rare steak, Victoriana, 60s fashion and 80s music. Inspired also by lots of other crafters especially Eva. She always makes me smile (sometimes laugh out loud). In respectful homage to her my washing up sponge is now called Bob and the cornflake box is now called 'See-ree-ally box'😍xxxx
This is the second time I’ve watched this video. I’m making the three envelope ephemera holder while listening to you. I like that you want to keep to RUclips and availability for all. It’s really lovely. I haven’t been very well for a while now so having your videos accessible is really lovely. Thank you Margreth. You have a big soul xx❤
Thank you for sharing with us. Silly but one of the highlights of your programs is your saying lovey. It makes me feel like we are old friends enjoying the company of other old friends.
Oh, Margreth! You are so delightful! I love listening to you, and now I can visualize you when it’s a hands-only video, too. Thank you for making your two getting-to-know-me videos. I love your tutorials, and find you teach me projects that I can use in my primary art endeavor: mail art postcards. I don’t keep anything I make. I make little postcards to mail to a small handful of friends. So I don’t use buttons or thick add-ons because they wouldn’t work with postal machines. But your little labels and glued clusters are perfect for my style. And your visual results always are a catalyst to my own creativity, translated to suit my needs. Oh! I hope you love playing with your Gelli Plate! I discovered I am happiest just making Gelli prints for hours on end. They are great for backgrounds and art elements, but my purest joy is in just creating and playing with my gel plate. Lastly, what I love about your channel is your authenticity. You haven’t created a RUclips persona: you are just you. And your genuine personality shines. Your likeability rating is sky high. We all want to be your neighbor and friend! I’m so glad I found you. Happy creating!
Yes, please do a vintage style junk journal video! that is on my list of things to make too. also get easily distracted when i'm crafting I'm currently working on 3 different things and have a list of at least a dozen other things i want to make. 🙂 I would definitely watch you if you did a live video, no matter what time.
I have seen you grow as a crafter and a youtuber and i'm sooo proud of you! Love you lots ❤😘, signed by your husband 😃
Yes Margreth is an AWSOME crafter who should be so very proud of her selv- we are many who loves her too and we are lucky that she jumped into our world of inspiring creativity with scraps and JJ. Take good care of each other and have fun in your gaming - ha ha 😉
Greetings from Denmark to the both of you 😍
Oh my gosh , you cheeky …. Love you more 🥰
Aw that’s adorable.x
That is the best 👌 when you know you always have your husband's back!
That means a lot, thank you Barbara ❤️
Well said Barbara. You are an inspiration to many of us just as Margreth is. 🥰
Thank you so much sweetheart 😽
👍🏻☺️😘
I have such admiration for you wanting to make your videos available to everyone equally. That is integrity. I will support you in any way that I am able.
Thanks lovey 😘
You have angels flying around you. You can see their wings flutter and the light changing brightness on your ceiling. God loves you!
Thanks ☺️
Love watching you so much. I just found these videos and do not know how I missed them before. It is great getting to know you better. I did notice in this video that Jackson is very smart as he, she, turned on the light in the background. Love you and I hope you never quit making such great videos.
Thanks ☺️
Love, love, love this!!! Thank you so much!
I have to share…you said, “I found a treasure in my head!”.
When you said that, I thought…she gets me! Ha!
This is one reason why:
Just a couple of days ago, I was visiting with my neighbors across the street…a rare treasure…and I was talking about paper treasures to be found.
(Maybe my pets can learn to operate my lights for me, as well! 😉
Blessings to you, sweet Margaret!
My MIL’s name was Margaret, and I loved her dearly! And she is where I first learned to call my loved ones “Love”. It blesses me when you call others “Love”, and it makes me giggle when you call yourself the same.
Gotta run so I can watch some more! 😃
😁👍🏻😘
We are ☺️👍🏻😘
"I found a treasure in my head!" I will forever use this phrase when remembering a treasure I FORGOT I had! So lovely hearing about your life. My condolences on the passing of your mother 😥; she sounded like an incredible human.
Thank you so much ❤️
Because of family obligations, I always watch replays of lives and comment. I very rarely make it to a live.
Loved this! You answered all the questions I had! You are a wonderful person and crafter!
Thank you so much ☺️
Such a beautiful tribute to your mom 🥰 I was a young mom as well and our first Christmas I had no ornaments for the tree, so I made and painted all of the ornaments out of the 'salt dough' you mentioned. 🤔
Thanks sweetheart 🥰
Margreth you are an inspiration to us all. You are a gentle soul, and your creativity just shines. I am so glad I found you.💜💜💜
😘☺️👍🏻
Margreth, I am late to these videos but better late than never. I am so enjoying them. What an absolutely wonderful tribute you paid to your Mum. I was so touched by your words so I can only imagine what she must have felt. You are a wonderful daugther and I enjoy your channel very much.
Thank you so much 😊
What a wonderful declaration of love to your Mom! I'm sure you both can be proud of each other. ❤
We loved each other very much, unfortunately she passed away last July ❤️
Oh Dear, I'm sorry to hear that.😢
I'm glad that you still have your wonderful husband and your cats at your side.
I love your message about not having your subscribers to pay more money to see your videos. You are really such a generous and sweet person ❤ your channel and keep making beautiful things.
Thanks 😊
Ditto, well said. 😊
Love watching you. I made my first prayer junk journal this week and I so love it, I have already written it. I also love watching Julie of Camilla crafts!! God bless you!
Oh it would be reaeeeally cool comparing the fashion of different ages! Maybe a series of journals or one age per signature?
7 kids? Wow 🤩
Moms are the best 👍🏻
Still very honored dear that you purchased my kit , your digitals are amazing 😘
So thankful I found your channel a few months ago. I’ve been catching up on past videos late at night in bed. I use my iPad n earbuds but tonight I told my husband he needed to listen for a bit...so he’ll know why I’ve been talking w a Dutch accent and saying “dats fantastic lovey”! Loved your story tonight about your mom n growing up😊
🤣🤣
I am quite impressed by your willingness to stand firm to your convictions, You've set boundaries and stick with them! Also, I would love to see you do a live, I am willing to watch you ANYTIME.
😁😘👍🏻
You are a wonderful storyteller!
Thanks 😊
You are such a natural story teller. I love listening to your stories . I could see you having a Podcast with stories to share about your life, the Netherlands and having your Mom as a guest. Best wishes to you always. Love from California. ❤
Thank you 🥰Unfortunately my mom past away last July 💔
Dried flower STEMS can be the center of those boho beads people were making a couple years back. I have a vid up about making some
You do you , your health is important , look after yourself .I loved both part 1 & 2. YOU ARE AN INSPIRATION TO US ALL. I love your honesty, thank you for sharing your life with us. I am so pleased I found your tutorials...
😁😘👍🏻
What a lovely tribute to your mum!it is no surprise that you have talented parents. You have so many gifts and are so inspiring. You and Barbara are 2 of my best favourites. Thank you and God bless you!
Thank you so much ☺️
I have just found these two videos almost a year later and I so enjoyed them. I particularly liked hearing your take on Patreon as I feel exactly the same way. While I can easily afford it, I think the whole idea of exclusive videos only for those who contribute $ to be very selfish. please keep doing what you are doing, I love it.
😁👍🏻😘
My Dad was like you are with you not sharing your favorite thrift stores, he would not share his best fishing spots. I have enjoyed your Q & A videos. Now I have a face to put with your hands and voice. I know, I'm just now watching these videos but I'm playing catch up on the days you don't have a new video. Have a lovely day.
😁👍🏻🥰
Thank you so much for sharing your life with all of us, it does seem to help us feel less like viewers and more like friends, Look after yourself and happy crafting/ creating always! xx
Thank you so much ☺️
I needed to watch this again.
Thanks ☺️
Thanks for sharing 🙌🌻🌼🌺🌹🏵
So awesome Margreth! Thank you so very much! And thank you for the shout out too! Great big hugs my beautiful friend! ❤️
Ofcourse lovey 👍🏻😘
Beautiful life journey video, so well done, I enjoyed to hear about your mom what a beautiful lady with her creativity
😁👍🏻😘
Now that we’ve met you and Jackson you know we want to meet Tim too. He needs to pop on and tell us hey. I liked hearing what parts of the thrift store you gravitate to when you first arrive at the store. I like the hardware section too 😊.
Tim says, you never know 😁
I would enjoy watching some lives. As well as organizing or really anything. You just have such a bright and personable attitude that I enjoy watching. Do take care of yourself. I can't wait for thrift season when the weather warms up here and I can get out and go hunting.
Yes, I’m all excited about that now ☺️
Thank you Margreth! You are awesome!!
Thanks ☺️
Such a sweet tribute to your mother! And after watching both videos, I realize you and I are a lot a like.
😁👍🏻😘
I have been watching you since you started your channel and love it, not a big commenter but you got me! Song lyrics, like you I can pin point almost everything in my life with a song lyric or song from that time. With you all the way, congratulations on what you have achieved so far an looking forward to more x
Thank you so much ☺️
Oh, Margareth!
😁👍🏻🥰
Thank you for this video. It’s so fun to learn more about you, to hear you talk about what you like and why. FWIW - I love the long video series.
Thank you so much ☺️
Simply put. You are lovely! I am so glad I found your channel. I an finding so much inspiration with junk journaling and life. 🤍
Thank you so much ☺️
My mother used to make Christmas wreaths in the 60's/70's out of elongated time cards from those time periods. Then she would spray paint metallic and add embellishments. They were so pretty.
✨🌼❣️Aweesome❣️🌼✨
Margreth you are adorable and a very hard working personality, i have following here for long time. Keep on groweing and thank you for share you're irl. video -as iam always enjoy!🖖 🤗❣️❣️❣️
😘
Thanks for the up close and personal. It is nice to see you nit just your hands. Your hands are lovely! Im Jennie from USA. I came from a very crafty family.
😁👍🏻😘
Margaret’s, you are such a sweetheart. Your sweetness comes through your videos to us. I have learned so much from you in these past couple of months since I found you. I’m afraid I am one of those people that has every intention of making a journal but I am intimidated. Crazy, I know. I hope by this time (I watched this video four months after you posted it) you are much improved from your experience with Covid. I had a bad bout with it as well. I admire you and your work. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your love and encouragement we receive when viewing your videos. God bless.
Thank you so much sweetheart 🥰
You are such a lovely person I found some days ago. I love your dutch accent and it's fun listening to you! Thanks for all the inspiration I'm always looking for. Be blessed!
Welcome to my channel 👍🏻😁😘
Hi lovey , yesss I watch everything “Star Trek” related 🖖🏻😁😘
😁🥰👍🏻
Love your crafting, I will try and comment more, as I do watch all your videos xx thank you xx
😁🥰🥰
Loved both of your videos on your journey ❤️
You are one of the first videos on paper crafting and all that you do. And yes I went down a rabbit hole myself, I love stamping and grunge. So glad to put a face to your lovely voice 😍
😁👍🏻😘
Please stay with the lighter schedule that will not burn you out. I have LOVED getting to know you better. I always find you such an inspiration.
Thanks 👍🏻😘
That is so sweet, thank you so much ❤️😘
Sweet message from your husband! Thank you so much for these two videos. I learned a lot from you and still do. Many blessings from the USA
Thanks for noticing sweetheart 😘☺️👍🏻
you are a beautiful person. We have so much in common, I have learned so much from you. Can not say enough how grateful I am for your junk Journaling shared. Thank you for being you. Loved what your husband wrote too!
Thanks sweetheart 😘
Thanks for sharing yourself with us! Wow, so happy for you😊
😘
😁😘👍🏻
Interesting to hear what you look for in thrift stores. At a Salvation Army store I found a very fancy ladies top that was all covered with a emerald green lace. I bought it for $2.00. Great find! By the way your Jackson looks very much like my Leo that I got at a shelter. So enjoy all your videos.❤
Thanks 😽
Hi Margreth! I have so enjoyed this and part 1. I love your videos & it's so nice to get to know you. By the way, I'm also a huge Star Trek fan 😉
Thank you so much!
Les
Thanks ☺️
I so appreciate you. I value authenticity, integrity, self-care, honoring your own process, and not compromising for demands from others. Thank you and you've just made another friend.
😘👍🏻
😁👍🏻
Take care of yourself. Don't worry about not getting enough videos. You are great to watch and if you are worn-out, we can't watch. Enjoyed your time today 😊 with us. Thank you and will be watching you soon.
Thanks sweetheart 😘
My best memories are from the days when we had nothing but our imagination. Now that I’m older and have no needs , I just crave the simple life. ☺️😘
Wow I just found these two Q and A videos! Enjoyed them so much! I’ve been watching your videos for a few months and have made several of your projects!! Love your channel!! Thank you so much!! ❤
Thanks sweetheart 😁😘
I’ve loved your 100 day series… I go through it looking for all the Gunther videos and next will be be doing Victoria… it’s fun following those projects even though they are scattered throughout the challenge series!
😁👍🏻
Loved the stories about your mom! My mom sewed and crafted, made cakes and silk flowers for weddings. She was very talented. I spent so much time trying to do what she did. Not being able to focus on one project when something new comes along must be a creative thing, my mother was like that and so am I!
😘👍🏻
Newer prescriber here. I keep coming back to Sevenplaza 😊. Thank you for sharing your stories and letting us peek into your life..
Welcome to my channel dear 🥰
Thank you ☺️
I have really enjoyed getting to know you better. You’re work is beautiful and very inspiring. Loved hearing about your life.❤️
Thank you so much ☺️
Hello you are such an inspiration to me,I love your style, your humour and the joy that radiates from you.
Thank you ☺️
Such a lovely part 2. Both vids awesomeness! Even though I live in the US, I still will utilize your great advice on the thrifting. When I go out of town sometimes I go on the hunt!
😁👍🏻🥰
Oh what a fun life you had growing up! I truly enjoyed your video! It is nice putting a picture with the voice and knowing a little about you! Thank you!
Thanks Barbara ☺️
I just watched part 1 and this today. I absolutely adore you! Your story truly resonates with me and inspires. You have a terrific attitude and speak the truth. I’m not sure if you will see this comment considering you taped it very early in the year but as a very new journaler and treasure hunter I can’t wait to watch more of you! Thank you so much for sharing ❤️
Thank you so much ☺️
I don't get daytime time to myself to film vids for MY RUclips channel but... you getting 16.5k in 1 yr is AWESOME. Congrats!!!
Thanks ☺️
Margreth…
I just start watching your videos last week and was intrigued when I saw
this 2 part series, “Get to Know Me Better.”
I loved your candor, and do feel like I got to know you a little better. ☺️
What a beautiful and lovely tribute you gave to your mother.
I know your mother had to be so proud of her lovely and gifted daughter…and how she must have loved hearing how proud you were of her!
❤️ Trenda
😌😘❤️
I have loved watching both of these videos, I feel like I know you like a friend. Thank you for being brave enough to share your story. I had covid a year ago and still have good and bad days with taste and smell. I look forward to your future videos as I always watch your channel. Take care Lovie xx
Thanks sweetheart 😘
I am new to junk journaling, new subscriber, and am so happy to have found your channel Margrethe. I love your joy and enthusiasm that comes through so clearly in your videos!!!! I hope to work my way through many of your older videos and HAD to comment on this one: thank you for sharing your journey. Your experience growing up and with your mom resonates so deeply...my mom and grandmother are/were the same as we grew up subbing creativity for unlimited funds as well 😊
Thanks ☺️😘
Hello Margreth. I always watch and give you a thumbs up but seldom comment on your videos. I loved the last 2, they were inspiring, warm and personal. It has been lovely getting to know you better and seeing you. You look much younger than you are too! Your videos in future will be even better because I feel I know you a little. Take care of yourself lovely lady xxx❤❤❤
Thank you so much sweetheart ☺️😘
Another lovely video, so glad you are taking care of yourself :)
I hope you know how much you inspire us too :) x
Thanks Sarah ☺️
I'm always surprised by how apologetic RUclipsrs are about being human( ie. taking care of themselves and their families), background noise. Life is going to happen, you need to take acre of yourself first and then worry about us a bit later. The background noise you can't control, I don't know why some people insist on the idea that RUclipsrs have to live in a time-space bubble that is devoid of sounds and distractions in the background. I'm not sure where that got started but as someone who worked in television production for 12 years, people are going to people. I love to hear background stuff its nice to know that you live in the real world with the rest of us.
I will 👍🏻☺️
Margreth, it was a pleasure hearing your story. I think you ate so talented, generous with your talent and so funny! I feel like we could be best friends and would love to meet you someday.
😁👍🏻😘
Once again I am grateful you shared! Interesting that your Mother was a big inspiration for you, even though you are very different. I always enjoy watching your hands at work, and now to see your beautiful face is even better. Will you be updating your photo on RUclips? You are beautiful! Enjoy your time tomorrow and your weekend!
Thank you so much ☺️
Yes, I love all things retro aka MCM Mid Century Modern. I have many dresses, furniture, household kitsch, etc. from the 50s and 60s, all that I use. Another great chat bloss👌🥰🇦🇺
👍🏻😘
Another great video. I really enjoy seeing how much alike we all are. I hope you make more of videos like this, would love seeing you organize your treasures. Thanks again for sharing your story and the one about your Mother, it was beautiful. Hugs * L
Thank you so much Leslie 🥰
When you mentioned the medical books and skeletons all I could think of was the paper outposts video yesterday (Jul 24) about momento mori photos. 💀 📸
😘😘
Thank you so very much for doing these videos to get to know you better! You are so much fun to watch. I love to hear how your mind works. To be honest, you make me feel pretty normal!! Hugs and prayers Beautiful!!!❤😂
😘👍🏻
How lovely to hear the stories of your upbringing!! I've really enjoyed these 2 'get to know you' videos and appreciate that you took the time to make them. I loved seeing Jackson and his clever trick of turning on the light lol! 😹 As it's 5 months since you filmed this I do hope you have recovered from your bout of covid and your energy levels have gone up. A good friend of mine has been suffering with long covid and she has recently had Vit B12 injections and they have made an amazing difference.
I'm looking forward to checking out a few more of your wonderfully inspiring videos from the past and excitedly anticipating others that are yet to come. xx
Thank you so much ☺️
I'm not sure how I miss these 2 video's but I found them. I just love how you are just so real. Even a lot of the same favorites too! Keep up the great work my dear. (Live long and prosper my friend)
🖖🏻🥰
I loved Part 1 but I also love Part 2 you are a breath of fresh air honest and so open. I loved the stories about your Mom. Thank u so much for sharing 💕🌴
☺️👍🏻😘
Thanks for sharing sweetheart 😘👍🏻
I have loved these two videos! It is so fantastic to get an idea of the person whose work I admire so much. Be well.
😘👍🏻
When life gets in the way of crafting you are my 'go-to' to relax and get perspective. It was so lovely getting to know you better. Ticks for Sushi, rare steak, Victoriana, 60s fashion and 80s music. Inspired also by lots of other crafters especially Eva. She always makes me smile (sometimes laugh out loud). In respectful homage to her my washing up sponge is now called Bob and the cornflake box is now called 'See-ree-ally box'😍xxxx
😂👍🏻😘
This is the second time I’ve watched this video. I’m making the three envelope ephemera holder while listening to you. I like that you want to keep to RUclips and availability for all. It’s really lovely. I haven’t been very well for a while now so having your videos accessible is really lovely. Thank you Margreth. You have a big soul xx❤
Feel better soon Pam 😘
Thank you for sharing with us. Silly but one of the highlights of your programs is your saying lovey. It makes me feel like we are old friends enjoying the company of other old friends.
☺️😘
I watch u everyday and learn so much .I tell u I just love your videos
Thanks 😊
Thank you so much sweetheart 🥰
Your an inspiration to all of us. Thank you for putting yourself out there that is so amazing.
Thanks ☺️
Yes, please do a vintage style junk journal video! that is on my list of things to make too. also get easily distracted when i'm crafting I'm currently working on 3 different things and have a list of at least a dozen other things i want to make. 🙂 I would definitely watch you if you did a live video, no matter what time.
👍🏻☺️😘
